Thanks to all who joined, I made this idea up in like thirty seconds, then built what signed up players are now participating in. There is still plenty of room for others to come in and play.
Now, I will start this all off:
The school bell rang, and the halls filled with high school students. Bust discussions of the holiday break filled the air as I walked down the hall way, manuvering myself so I wouldn't get crushed in the oblivious eyes of a teen.
My holiday wasn't to be as relaxing, or restful as others were. I had to do alot more, beyond what people would even imagine on a daily basis. Well, I had to do this on a daily basis. Even before I was 'born'. I walked through the courtyard, and out the front foyer. I had my bag hung around my shoulder as I walked down Oak St.
I was apart of a huge war that wasn't known to humans. Well, almost all of them. The war between the Sadaviors, and the Ragene. I was an important part of the Rebelion, the Sadaior group against the BL, the Ragene's. We were few, but the BL had been targeting more humans, and even Mytsera's and Deminos who didn't know of this conflict.
I turned into an alley, headed for the Ikka Tanshin. The head quarters for the Rebelion that was located in Vancouver. You couldn't find the huge mansion, unless you already knew where it was, and how to get there. Thinking of what un-informed being I had to protect, or assasinate next, I sauntered ever further into the alley.

Etozil watched the high schoolers leave the building, feeling all of their anxiousness and excitement for the break. He blocked out these feelings as best as he could, but his empathy was something that was constantly active.
He sighed and adjusted his feet, still safely concealed by the tree. He knew what humans did to creatures like him; he would have objects thrown at him or be shot at. Most of the general population was unaware that he existed, but if they found out, it could be disasterous for him.
His eyes instinctively were drawn to the band around his left talon. He pecked at it again, as though hopeful that it would come undone and somehow cleanse him of this tainted feeling he felt, having been exposed to the humans who wanted to selfishly abuse his powers... He shuddered at the memory, preening his red plummage in an attempt to rid his mind of the memories for the moment.
OOC: Yay! The startness!

Ryu waved his tail lazily as he yawned, the school bell blaring in the distance. As always, Ryu left one class before school was over. He didn't really see the point of staying longer than that time, and he has never gotten caught. He looked in the direction of the school, yawning again and putting his hand on his shoulder.
"This is so pointless... getting turned into a wolf... still no excitement in this cruddy life... but meh... I really don't care one day or the other..."
He closed his eyes, his wolf features dissapearing as he turned into his human form. He walked of calmly to his house, yawning several times on his way there. On the way, he bumped into a girl who seemed to be in a hurry to go somewhere. He sighed as he looked at her, inspecting her for a moment before scratching the back of his head.
"Sorry... wasn't paying attention to where I was going..."
He lazily kicked a rock up, yawning again.
"Your name... is...?"

I was walking, my mind thinking of three, four different things at once, like a mass of conversations going on in my head at the same time, when my phone rang, and all the comotion in my mentality stopped.
"Hello?" I said into my cell.
"Its Shiruba, you have an assignment."
Ahh, Shiruba. The leader of the Rebelion, the phoenix god of the Sadaviors. Her powers had been sealed away in the depths of the Otherworld, to prevent any godly intervention during the war, and to not destroy the real world. Her minor powesses she could still use though, but her stronger ones could sink a continent faster than Atlantis could ever sink.
"What now?" I sighed. "It can't be anything big, its only 3:30."
"No, not big." She replied. "But it is important."
I leaned against the wall with the phone still to my ear.
"How could it not be 'big' but still important?" I asked sarcastically.
"Someone who you dont like, has found out that the BL has sent assasins after a few victims. Some of which we believe to be of our kind of people."
"Why do it in broad daylight though" I questioned. "Its idiotic, they'll expose the whole conflict."
"I don't know, but I can't talk long, or they'll pick up the signal." Shiruba replied. "Just find out where, and protect them. Bring them to the Ikka Tanshin, see if they'll join up."
The phone on the other end clicked and I flipped my phone closed.
"So, its a rescure and recruit job?" I said to myself.
I was bumped into by another person. I heard her apologie.
"No, its alright." I replied.
Then I sensed quick movement. It was far off, but it was a dark aura that caught my attention.
"Come with me." I said to the boy.
Ryu rose an eyebrow, following the girl. He felt... different... she wasn't a human, thats for sure. He could tell from what he was picking up in her aura. He shook it off, speeding up his pace slightly and walking next to her.
"You didn't answer my question... but whatever..."
He yawned again, lazily closing his eyes and entering his own little word of thought.
"Her aura... it's different... it's not the same as the one's I usually feel... I wonder... is she also..."
He opened his eyes again, looking at her again. He felt curious for once, but mostly, he just wanted to find out one thing.
"What's your name...?"

Vampyro entered the hall to his fathers throne. he knew what he had to do in order to become king of all of The Otherworld. he must kill his father...
"Enter my son." the king said. " Hello father, i need to talk to you." Vampyro replied. " I need a favor from you." "sure, anything son. what is your request?" the king asked. " i turned to his guards, and transformed into a giant Vampire. i destroyed his best men. " I need to kill you." Vampyro said in a demonic tone. " Guards, attack." he called to his men. 40 of his best warriors entered the room and began attacking Vampyro. Vampyro dissapeared into a vaporous mist, never to return to the place of his birth.

I looked up at the tops of the warehouse buildings as we passed them by, having who I knew to be one of the soon victims following me.
"That information isn't safe to be given at this point in time, and neither is yours." I answered. "That is unless you want to perish in unbearable torture."
I kept looking around, hoping that the BL demons would pass us by without noticing us. After all, they were only fragments of souls, recreated into minor demons for whoever the BL's leader was.
I felt one coming, so I pulled my follower in behind me into a dark, shadowed corner. Black blurs rushed over the roof tops. That was them. The BL.
"Stay quiet, until I say we can go." I whispered, almost to quietly to be heard.
Ryu closed his eyes. He could feel the black blurs passing overhead, and he was itching for a fight to get him up and running for once, but he just let out his usual yawn and opened his eyes again, looking at the girl.
"Those things up there... what are they?"
He let his claws grow out by accident, sighing as he retracted them quickly. He looked up as the black blurs passed on, wanting to jump up there and test out what his wolf side could do.
"Their aura... it's also different than the usuals.. but they're different than this girl here... not too different... but they're not the same..."
He yawned again, his wolf ears popping out by accident, twitching every time one of those black blurs passed by. He didn't really care if anyone knew of his wolf form. If anyone were to try to kill him, he could easily escape by running on all fours.
"She's stronger... so I can't underestimate this girl if she tries to attack me... but... I doubt she could catch up with me..."

I stepped out, looking at towards where the BL demons had gone. I rubbed my concealed arm, not that you could see it covered in bandages, as I was wearing my trench coat. I looked at the sky.
"Its about four." I commented out loud. "This way."
I turned into another alley, and without looking back, I began to explain what was going on.
"Right now, you have officially been brought into a war. Those were the opposing members of my side, the BL, who were probably trying to assasinate you. Don't think that you might've had a chance, they send specially trained ones to kill, or capture whoever they're after."
I turned down into another alley, this one darker than the last one.
"You aren't the only one though." I continued. "There are so many more that they're after now. You need to co-operate, and follow me. Don't fight any off, it'll only increase their knowledge of how to kill you, and you'll need it if I'm temporarily incapable of not protecting you."
Ryu rose an eyebrow, one thing she said didn't bug him, but annoyed him:
"Right now, you have officially been brought into a war."
He knew he had to do a lot of work, the one thing he detested the most. But, if he was forced to do something, he'd just ignore it and go back to what he was doing. He was following this girl just to play along out of boredom.
"A war... this is really retarded... as if life wasn't screwed up enough..."
He scratched his ears, twitching them every once in a while. There was actually a reason for this. Though his hearing may not be the best, the twitching of his ears let him listen to sounds more clearly. He put his hands back in his pockets, yawning again as he kicked up a rock.
"Don't think of me as weak... I've taken care of myself for three years. I could fend off a couple of guys. I may not show it, but I'm stronger than I look, got it?"

Everything seemed fairly quiet.
A young woman walked along the street, watching the busy people around her with mild interest. A large Physics textbook was under one arm. Tamaki knew she should probably be reading it, to get ready for the test for tomorrow, but something seemed different today. Something nagged at the back of her mind. Another presence, perhaps An inhuman one?
Tamaki stopped for a moment, looking upwards. She scanned the skyline, watching the roofs of the buildings around her. Something caught her eye, and she immediately began walking faster. A black head had disappeared as she looked, ducking in hopes that it wouldn't be seen. It wasn't human, of that she was sure.
Fear gave her speed, and she kept going faster, almost at a run. She didn't realize where she was going, not until the crowds cleared and gave way to the slums. Looking up, she saw the shadow pursuing her rise up from the roof of a dilapidated building. She lifted her arms up over her head, dropping her book, just as it flew down and struck with huge black claws.
Screeeech... Claws met not skin, but metal, ripping away the woman's clothes and exposing the steel beneath. Tamaki pushed out, shoving the thing away from her. She didn't have her sword; the college she attended didn't allow weapons of any kind, even those not made of steel. She had no other choice. She had to try and run away.
Tamaki quickly turned in an attempt at escape.

I turned around quickly.
"We are well aware of that. So are the BL. These aren't people you're dealing with. These are blood thirsty, souless corpses that are after you. Then after they kill you, they'll break your soul up into as small of peices as they can, and turn you into what's chasing us."
I felt something that made me stop. A second later, I heard a gun shot. In less than a second, I held my hand up, which diverted the bullet into the other direction, hitting the BL member behind me on the roof.
Still trying to kill beings with metal bullets? I thought. Their stupidity will make them pay.
There were five others surrounding us. I could sense metal all over them. They were prepared for a dog fight, not me. With a simple hand movement, I closed my fist, crushing all the metal plating that they were all wearing, killing them all. They fell and turned into black ash, and flew with the wind.
"They'll send more skilled ones later." I explained. "Those were meant for you, thats why they were so easy to kill. We have to make haste, and find the other tracked victims."
I saw another person, being attacked by more BL members farther away. I took out a few kunai;s from behind my back and threw them at the BL demon. They hit it in the chest before it could do anything more. I ran up to my new protectee.
"Are you alright?" I asked, offering my hand to help her up.
Ryu felt his claws grow out again, this time though, he decided to leave them out. his tail also grew out, giving him the image of a wolf on two legs without fur. He closed his eyes, he could feel something coming straight his way. He ducked as some claws slashed over him. He quickly turned around and stabbed the guy twice before kicking him and sending him back flying, smashing into a wall and knocking him out. He turned around again, yawning as he wiped the blood off his claws.
"Didn't have to break a sweat..."
His claws quickly retracted, but his tail and ears were still out. He closed his eyes again, looking up and yawning again. He knew that was just a weak one, so he couldn't get cocky the next time. He just needed to show that girl that he could fend for himself.
"So... do you still think I can't fend for myself?"
By the time he opened his eyes, the girl was already helping up another person. He walked towards her lazily, looking at the new girl and raising an eyebrow.
"A new recruit? Nice... there's strength in numbers I guess..."

Just as luck would have it, Tamaki tripped over her own two feet before she could get a step. She rolled over quickly, holding out one arm, before she saw that the creature wasn't attacking. Some kind of flying metal object, several, had hit it, and it desolved into dust. A girl appeared from an alley. She looked younger than Tamaki, a highschool student, maybe, but her eyes seemed to hold far more than that in hteir depths. As she had felt with the creatures, the girl wasn't human, but in a different way. Most definitely from Otherworld.
"Are you alright?" She asked, offering a hand out to help Tamaki up.
"Y-yes... Thank you," she managed to reply, taking the offerened hand. Usually, she wouldn't touch anyone, in fear that they might discover her arms. Humans could be unforgiving, and taunted those who were different. At best, everyone would pity her if they knew. At worse, they'd make fun of her. This girl, however, could already see her arms anyway, through the slashes in her sleeves. Sunlight glinted brightly off the cold metal.
As Tamaki stood, a boy walked out of the alley. He seemed normal enough... If you overlooked the ears and tail of a wolf. She identified him immediately as a Werewolf, something she'd heard of but never actually seen. She'd heard they were vicious, but this one seemed complacent, even sleepy.
"A new recruit? Nice... there's strength in numbers I guess..." He said, not seeming too interested. Tamaki looked from one person to the other, confused. Questions flashed through her mind, but she finally settled on one.
"What... What was that that attacked me?"

the kings guards eventually caught up to Vampyro. " Vampyro, we have to take you back to the castle and put you in the dungeon cell at the kings orders. we're sorry you master." they said. "I forgive you, i will come with you. this might give me another chance to attack father." Vampyro replied. "Young master, he has other plans for you. he is going to send you to the Realworld for a mission."
Cyan sautered down the street, his 'homework' in hand. It really was absurd, he reflected, this human notion of learning. Knowlege was meant to be gained from experience, not from this ridiculous method of sitting in a building and reciting information.
His normal, human disguise flickered as his mental concentration wavered, revealing for an instant a plainly inhuman figure behind it- one with pointed ears and bright, clear green eyes. A Silvan Elf. However, the relatively young elf caught his mistake quickly and restored the illusion to his body. Couldn't be too careful in these times.
He sighed, remembering why he was here. His village had been destroyed by vampires, forces of their King, and so he had fled to Earth in search of safety. As far as he could tell, the dark forces had not yet infiltrated this other world. Or so he thought.
In an alley ahead of him, next to a warehouse, his sharp senses caught the sound of a conflict. Interesting, he thought. Perhaps now I will learn of this human concept of 'gangs.' But he was wrong.

Etozin's hearing picked up something about a war, and he intially cringed at the thought. He didn't want to get involved with humans again. Perhaps he could find out more...
He fluttered safely to the ground, summoning some of his power. As a phoenix, he did not possess much magic, but what he had was impressive. He created a new form for himself-- only an illusion, but humans would never be able to tell the difference.
He had taken on the alias of a high-school graduate that was in obvious need of a job. He examined the physical build of his disguise-- hardly muscular, pale, with freckles and red hair. He could do nothing about the hair. His clothing was simple, a red shirt, blue jeans, and shoes with holes in them. He was undesirable for anyone, human or not, and, assured that he could remain undisturbed in his exploration, stepped uneasily out into the world, looking into the general direction where Ryu had followed his escort.
"...Odd..." he murmured quietly. He wasn't much of a talker, and lips were a particularly new concept for him. There was something inhuman about them that lingered in the air, and something else, too. Something... evil. Unsure of how to react, he followed them, completely unaware of what he was possibly getting himself into.
Ryu started smelling the air, his eyes closed as he turned around, giving the two girls his back for a moment as he kept smelling the air.
"We're not alone... my nose never lies..."
He opened his eyes, turning his head and looking at the two girls. He looked back infront of him, walking towards a nearby street. He could tell what he was smelling wasn't human, and he was intent on finding them.
"Better be careful... if it's one of them black things..."
His claws extended again, his tail frozen in the air as he walked in the direction of the scent.

Cyan sensed that one of the participants in the earlier struggle was now walking toward him from out of the shadowed alleyway. Walking toward it, his hand moving to his quiver and bow (cleverly diguised as a backpack), ready to respond to danger.
Soon, however, his sharp eyesight cut through the gloom and showed him that the creature approaching him was a werewolf. It didn't, however, seem hostile or berserk, as the dark warrior werewolves of the Otherworld often were.
He bowed to the werewolf in a ritual elven greeting. He spoke in the elvish tongue, "I greet thee, friend wolfkin. I hope that we may walk under the treeshadows in peace." Then, switching to the Common Tongue of this world, English as it was called by the humans, he greeted the Demino again. "I am Cyan Trikeri, of the Trikeran tribe. I didn't know that folk of the Demino bloodline had found the portals to Earth."
Ryu was twitching his eyes. He didn't understand bull of what he just said.
"Okay... one... I don't know what the hell a Demino is... two... what is the Otherworld?"
His head was pounding as his claws retracted, his tail lazily flowing in the wind. He starred at the elf, raising an eyebrow.
"You don't look like one of them idiots that keep trying to attack me and the other two girls... what's your name... err... whatever you are?"
Cyan blinked. He didn't understand? Then he looked at the werewolf's clothes, and listened to his voice. This wolfkin was not from the Otherworld. He must have been a bitten human.
Behind the werewolf, he saw a figure standing in the shadows. Later, he thought. There would be time enough to deal with mysterious figures later. "Alright, look. There are two known worlds- dimensions, if you will. Earth, and the Otherworld. In the Otherworld, there are two bloodlines. The first is the Demino bloodline, made up of beings such as vampires and werewolves. The 'darker' beings, those of demonic heritage. The second is the Mytsera. They're the 'lighter' beings, like elves and the phoenix flight."
He hesitated, then continued. "There is conflict between them in the Otherworld, but only scattered scuffles. Luckily, as far as I know that hasn't spilled over into Earth. Or at least... I thought it hadn't."
He gave another bow. "As I said, my name is Cyan Trikeri, an elf. And of course I don't look like whatever those things were- the elves are not usually given to attacking other creatures whenever we feel like it." He gave a small smile, trying to set the werewolf at ease. He remembered how confused he had been when he had first entered one of the portals to Earth- in the middle of New York City.

"As I said, my name is Cyan Trikeri, an elf. And of course I don't look like whatever those things were- the elves are not usually given to attacking other creatures whenever we feel like it," Etozin heard the elf say. He sighed and shook his head. No one in their right mind would announce that sort of thing in the possible presence of humans.
So that's a bitten werewolf, he thought. He had never personally met one, but he had heard of the evil Demino kind that often attacked the innocent forest creatures of his homeland. He adjusted his position on the ground, sensing something hostile nearby. He didn't like the suspicious glance from the elf, though... it definitely made him uneasy.

He turned around, walking back to where he previously was. He stopped after a few steps, turning his head lazily at Cyan.
"And also, I understood bull of what you told me..."
He turned his head back, his tail waving lazily as he walked back towards the two girls. He looked up, his eyes closed.
"First some girl tells me that I'm in a war... then I meet some girl with a robot arm... now I meet an elf..."
He smirked, yawning and opening his eyes as he looked back infront of him.
"I should be careful what I wish for... as it might come true..."

"What's your name?"
He asked lazily, like pretty much everything he did. His ears kept twitching, meaning there was someone else here other than the elf and them.
The elf grimaced. Some people just didn't get it, did they?
Hearing a sigh, Cyan turned and glared at a humanoid figure with red hair. At least, he seemed human. "Do you have something to say?" he asked him.

Some kid ran down the street.
He had his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, and was obviously holding something.
He was pushing through the crowded streets, and being chased by a cop.
What he held was a gun.
He hadn't used it, just stolen it. He was delivering it to a mysterious man in a black trench coat. He was his boss. But things were about to go sour.
Gabe ducked into an alley, and became Spirit Drone. It took about fifteen seconds.
The cop came around the corner of the alley, but found nothing, and kept on running down the street.
It would take about five minutes before he could change back into Gabe. He wasn't in a rush, so he simply waited.
When he was human again, he continued on his way. A few minutes and blocks later, and there was Kane.
Do you have what I want?
He was surrounded by some muscle from his gang.
You know I do. I could ask you the same question.
You know I'm good for it.
Gabe handed him the gun.
He examined it with great pleasure.
He took a couple shots at Gabe. He took five bullets in the chest.
Seems to work.
They all laughed, including Gabe.
Now it's my turn.
Gabe became Drakel Drone.
He slaughtered them all with his bare hands. Noone heard them scream.
When he was finished, he walked away and took off his kevlar vest.

No one seemed willing to answer Tamaki's initial question. More likely than not, she reasoned, they really didn't know either. Without warning, the werewolf lifted his nose to the wind. He muttered something inaudible before skulking off. Tamaki watched him with interest. There was something undoubtably strange about the werewolf. She'd never herd of one being this tame. There was always that legend, of course, that when werewolves bit humans, the umans turned into werewolves as well...
That seems to fit, Tamaki thought. He was probably a human once.
The werewolf appeared to have found someone. A human, Tamaki thought, until she heard the strange language he spoke. Though she couldn't understand it, it was familiar nonetheless. As though she'd heard it before, long ago...
She shook her head, clearing her thoughts as the werewolf returned, still nonchalant. He looked first at the other girl, the one that had saved her, and then Tamaki herself.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Tamaki," she replied simply. "And you?"
Cyan shook his head. "I haven't even heard of the BL. It might be that they were the ones that attacked you, but I don't have much to go on. You might ask someone who knows more."

He nodded and resumed his initial path. He heard gunshots from some distance away, and he jumped, startled. He made his way slowly toward the general direction of the gunshots, spotting a figure in a hoodie who obviously wanted to stay hidden.
((Ahem))
Ryu looked at Tamaki. Just now, he had realized the similarity between her and...
"Rin..."
He shook his head, looking down for a moment before looking back at Tamaki. His voice showed some slight sadness, but it was barely unnoticeable.
"Ryu, Ryu Gatuki..."
He clenched his fist. It was the first time in three years he had felt like this. He managed to shake it off, forgetting about the memory of the day Rin died. He looked at Tamaki again, calming down slightly and returning his eyes to the same sleepy and lazy look they always had.
"Nice to meet you... Tamaki..."

After she said her name, the werewolf stared at her for a moment. Recognition shown on his face. Not of her, but of someone else.
"Rin..." He whispered to himself. Tamaki gave him a puzzled look. Rin? That was a girl's name. Who was Rin? He shook his head before finally saying, "Ryu, Ryu Gatuki..." He stood for a moment, as though overcoming his feelings and shoving them to the back of his mind. His lazy demeanor slowly returned.
"Nice to meet you... Tamaki..."
"And you too, Ryu," she said politely, though she was still curious about the werewolf's strange reaction to her name.

Gabe began out the alley, when he noticed a suspicious civilian walking towards him. He ran the other way.
This day sucks.
He ran about forty yards and came up to a fence.
This is not happening!
Gabe had no choice but to sit there not-so-inconspicuously in front of the fence until he could change into Spirit Drone.

OOC: Oy! I didn't think it would get that populat that fast! Luckily I'm a fast reader.
BIC: I had noticed the new arrivals, and was pleased for once.
"This just made my job so much more easier." I said to myself. "It's not safe to explain much out in the open, even more so out of broad daylight. If you must know what to call me, just use Kiryu for now. We must move on, as I think now that everyone is here, though its more than I expected."
I turned into a warehouse and opened the door.
"Inside, before more trouble comes along." I instructed.
Cyan looked around, then glanced at the open door. He really didn't want to encounter any more of those black shadow things, but he also didn't want to walk into an unknown situation without knowing what was going to happen. "I'll come, Kiryu, but only because you promised me an explanation."
He walked toward the door and vanished inside.
Ryu looked down as he walked inside of the warehouse, not turning his head to look at Kiryu. He stopped a few steps after going in, lifting his hand up to his neck and putting his hand on his neck.
"Rin... I didn't get in time... to save you..."
He walked towards a box and extended his claws, starring at the box for a moment before smashing the box with one punch of his claws. He retracted them, taking a deep breath and turning to Kiryu and the rest, his face once agains lazy and sleepy.

"You'll all get one when we get to where I'm taking you all." I answered. "Most of you do, considering how stupid it is to have people involved with something they know nothing about."
I waited for the others to come in.

Cyan blinked. "Demons? Why are there demons in Earth? I thought the portals' safeguards kept the dark beings out?" He sat down on a crate, his illusion dissolving now that he knew humans could not see him. He placed his bow and quiver on the floor beside him, where he could pick them up in a hurry if necessary.

I was getting aggrivated at that point. I was about to rip Shiruba's head off for this. I knew that it was my demi-god part that disliked such little respect, and I had to deal with it.
"Explain to me why I should even be protecting you all?!? Its my job, and I intend to keep it. You'll all get an explaination quicker, if one: you'll all get in here, and two: quit repeating the same questions. You aren't just irritating me, but my other sides as well." I stated in restraint.
Cyan might have had a powerful sense of pride, but he also had a powerful sense of self-preservation. "Well, alright. I can wait. But I hope that everyone gets inside quickly. I cannot wait long, not when it involves life and death." The majority of elven philosophy dealt with the subject of life and death. It was an important subject among the silvan folk.

"It's not safe to explain much out in the open, even more so out of broad daylight. If you must know what to call me, just use Kiryu for now. We must move on, as I think now that everyone is here, though its more than I expected."
Tamaki turned to look at the other girl, the one who had saved her. She walked quickly over to an abandoned warehouse and openned the door, motioning for everyone to enter. With a nod, Tamaki followed the others in.
Ryu seemed frustrated. He smashed a box befor turning to Kiryu.
""Kiryu... I want answers... explain to me what is all of this. This war, this Otherwold, this everything. I want you to explain everything to us now." Tamaki couldn't help but nod in agreement. Granted, she knew of Otherworld, for she was born there, but the rest... Nothing seemed to be making sense. Why would anyone be after her? She was but a simple weapon maker. A voice in the back of her mind reminded her of her father, but she pushed the thought away. It had been, what, sixteen years? She was in the Real World, away from him, and had laid no claim on his kingdom whatsoever. Surely he'd leave her alone?
Her thoughts were broken off by Kiryu talking once more.
"If you really want to know what was after you, I'll say it in short: Those were minor demons sent to kill all of you by the BL. If I tell you anymore, they'll send specialists here, even stronger than the demon's and a hell of alot smarter." Suddenly alarmed, Tamaki glanced down at the torn sleeves of her shirt, through to the metal beneath. For once, she was glad for the 'gift' her father had given her. She would be dead otherwise. And yet, there were still more powerful opponents...
"I..." Tamaki began quietly, looking down at the ground. "I, I need to go back to my apartment. My sword, I left it there. If our opponents are as fearsome as you say, I have no doubt that I'll need it."
Ryu smirked, lying back against the wal and closing his eyes, his arms crossed.
"Like anyone cares you're irritated..."
He yawned, his tail flowing about lazily. His ears kept twitching and his nose also kept twitching. He was actually keeping watch, although it wasn't noticeable.
"We're only asking because we do not know, and when one does not know something, they try to find out as soon as possible... so if you don't like questions, then start explaining..."
"I..." Tamaki began quietly, looking down at the ground. "I, I need to go back to my apartment. My sword, I left it there. If our opponents are as fearsome as you say, I have not doubt that I'll need it."
Ryu opened his eyes, remembering the fact that he left his katana back at his house. He took his foot off the wall and started walking in the direction of the warehouse, stopping next to Tamaki.
"Tamaki... do you mind if I accompany you? I need to look for my own sword myself... and it's best to travel in numbers.... don't you think?"

I looked at Tamaki, and heard what she had said.
"You won't be needing it now." I told her. "We're going to be traveling one of the three ways to...lets just say, 'my home'."
I walked over to a large vent in the floor. I took out a long, six foot battle staff from the corner, put it into the grid, and opened it. It lead to the subway, but not exactly to it.
"In here. When you get in, make room for the others and wait for me." I explained.

Tamaki nodded, if a bit sadly. It wasn't just that she felt unprotected without her sword. It was given to her by her mentor, made with their hands. Just before they were killed.
I can make another, she told herself, but she knew it wouldn't be the same. Worst come to worst, she could sneak away at some point and get it...
Tamaki passed Ryu while going to get into the hole the vent had revealed.
"Thanks anyway," she whispered quietly to him before climbing down.
Cyan stood up smoothly, gathering up his belongings. He made his way to the vent, then glanced at Kiryu. "Know this- if you are tricking us, you will die before we do," he spoke in a quiet voice. Then, he jumped into the grating, vanishing from sight.

Lygono caughed as he crossed the plain valley, there was smoke in the area, Lygono could tell. Suddenly, a dragon came down from the sky.
"You cannot come farther Lygono" said the dragon. Lygono laughed.
"How are you Dertio? Seems your working for the Rebellion" Lygono said coldly.
"I can't let you help the enemy" Dertio said, he launched his body at Lygono.
Ryu jumped into the grating without a word, closing his eyes as a memory came back to his head.
Memory:
"H-Hey Ryu... I... I got you a present..."
A 13 year old girl was holding something behind her hands, her face slightly red as she looked at Ryu.
"Hmm? What is it?"
Ryu smiled at the girl, wondering what his present was. It seemed to be big, hence the girl couldn't hold all of it behind her. She slowly put her hands infront of her, holding a three foot long katana in her hands and looking at Ryu.
"H-Here... I... I made this... for you... I hope you like it..."
Ryu smiled, messing with the girl's green hair and grabbing the katana. He put it on his back, turning around and looking up at the sun.
"Hey Rin..."
"Y-yes?"
"Thanks..."
End Memory
He opened his eyes, looking back to see if Kyriu was following. He yawned, his face hadn't changed, even after that memory. He looked back infront of him and walked towards the wall, lying back against it.

I jumped into the grate, landing in a dark, dimmly lit, cement passage. I put my gloved hand on the wall, feeling around for the correct direction to start in, as I always did. Unfortunately for my taste, I felt something else. I quickly turned around and pinned a flimsy body to the wall next to me with my staff infront of the being's neck.
"Well, the great Four Faced Moon never ceases to be perceptive." A familiar, yet crazy sounding voice commented.
"Flattery gets you no where." I replied. "What are you doing here?"
"Just came to tell you, that the BL lost track of their targets." He answered with an uneven voice. "O etni kera vi neu vdev Shiruba zesv uiy vi aqfteosn vi vda fiafta nira vdosjn."
After a moment, I let him down, and let him leave.

"If you have weapons at home, you'll have them back..." Tamaki heard Kiryu say from above as she moved to one side to make more room for the others.
How? She wondered. Are they going to break into my apartment or something? I hope they grab the right one... I think I left that blade I was working on on the table... Surely they'd see that it was only half finished? Immersed in her own thoughts, she didn't hear the approach of another, not until Kiryu jumped down. The other girl reached forward and jerked, as though she'd felt something she hadn't expected to be there. She whipped out a staff, pinning him. From their talk, Tamaki guessed they probably knew each other, but she doubted Kiryu like him much. He relayed a message that the BL had lost track of them, but then began talking in a strange language.
""O etni kera vi neu vdev Shiruba zesv uiy vi aqfteosn vi vda fiafta nira vdosjn..." What was that? Tamaki wanted to ask, but she held her tongue. Their guide seemed irate, and now wasn't a good time to interrogate her. No doubt, though, the language was an Otherworld one.

Cyan overheard the exchange, but other than the first part it was in an Otherworldly tongue, one he was not familiar with. It sounded almost like a variation of several he knew, but was too dissimilar to make out.
Ahead of them stretched a dark tunnel. Raising his hand, he spoke two words within his mind, and a small orb of light came into being floating above his hand. While the light, being a illusion, didn't really exist, it was so thorough in making the senses believe that it did that it cut through darkness just as real light did. Magic was, indeed, a tricky thing, breaking the human laws of physics just as often as it followed them.

I looked at the orb of light Cyan had created for the rest of us to see. I walked ahead of everyone else, and put my gloved hand on the floor. After a moment, I stood back up.

Etozin flapped behind quietly, intrigued by their guide and the explanations. The potential of knowing more was always a plus, and though he wasn't one to get involved with conflicts he could just as easily fly around healing others and scouting. It was the sort of thing he did on a daily basis, and it wouldn't be much of a problem.
With his empathy, he could sense the emotion involved in Ryu's memories. Though he didn't know exactly what the memories were, he knew they were making him upset to some degree, even if he wouldn't outwardly express it. He flapped up beside him, hesitating as he decided what to ask. He let out a twittering sound to get Ryu's attention, then posed his inquiry.
Are you going to be ok? he asked, switching to English, for that was the only language to which the werewolf seemed to respond. You're in a lot of emotional pain right now, I can feel it. "Let's just say... it's something I'd rather forget..." The feathery crown on Etozin's head drooped when Ryu said this. Obviously talking about his problems to a complete stranger--a bird at that--wasn't something he was entirely comfortable with. Etozin knew that it sometimes helped to talk about one's problems, but some people cope better on their own.
That's fine, too, Etozin told him. But please keep that in mind. Bearing too much emotion can cause people to destroy themselves, and I just don't want that to happen.
Etozin realized that he was being a hypocrite. He took on the suffering of too many people at one time, and it would eventually permanently destroy him. But, in the long run, he figured that the perpetual rebirth and death of one phoenix did not matter much.
Ryu opened his eyes and looked at Etozin. He looked down, knowing he did have a point. He needed to open up and stop with the bottling of his feelings.
"Fine... I'll tell you..."
He sighed, already feeling bad for what happened.
"Rin... the girl that I used to love... the girl that I would kill to be with again... she got murdered... by the same werewolf that turned me into what I am today..."
He balled his fist, holding in a tear.
"I swore... I would always protect her... and I failed... I broke my promise... but... that day... I swore I would destroy the same werewolf that did this to me... the one that killed Rin..."
He balled his fist more, an almost invisible tear rolling down his face as he muttered.

Well that gave them enough info before Gekkani, Temna and Metaru started going berserk. I thought to myself.
"If there are no other questions about the general idea of the situation you're in now, I'm open to questions." I told them. "But before you start asking me for a full autobiography, we need to get more ground put behind us."
I pointed down to where subway tracks were, at least 15-20 feet below us. I put my gloved hand, which I was surprised they hadn't asked about yet since it was the only one gloved, and put it on the edge of the concrete ceiling we were standing on. I let go, and looked down.
"When you hear a subway coming, jump down after I do." I instructed.
A white subway shot away underneath us, and I leapt down onto the roof of it, awaiting for the others to follow.

A subway? Etozin had never been underground before, so the concept of a subway was unfamiliar to him. He assumed that was the vehicle that their guide jumped down on. He let out a coo and fluttered to a landing, nearly swept away by the speed. He clawed at the white surface with a discouraged squawk, the smooth metal not a substance his claws could grip.
He eventually hopped up next to the guide, finding a suitable gripping spot and leaned forward to reduce wind resistance, a practice that he applied more to flying. He looked up at his guide, awaiting further instruction.

There's Rin again, Tamaki thought, puzzling over Ryu's reply. Rin... Who was she? What had happened to her? Why was Ryu mistaking the two of them? Still, she didn't say anything. It wasn't her place to ask.
"If there are no other questions about the general idea of the situation you're in now, I'm open to questions." Kiryu them. "But before you start asking me for a full autobiography, we need to get more ground put behind us." She pointed to subway tracks before them. Tamaki had never actually been on a subway, but she knew they ran on tracks underground and were usually crowded.
"When you hear a subway coming, jump down after I do." Kiryu instructed. A low rumbling noise shook the ground and the tunnel they stood on, and a white streak appeared below them. Kiryu and the phoenix that had perched on Ryu's shoulders jumped quickly, and Tamaki followed, not wanting to be left behind. Her feet hit the metal top with a dull thud, a jolt coming up through her legs to the rest of her body. Fighting the pain, she gripped a groove in the top with both hands. She once more was glad for her metal arms- her fingers wouldn't tire and let go, this way. She managed to right herself, still grasping the top to stay on.
A second passed before Cyan realized what was going on. He had been trying to absorb the information that he had just received when the subway had passed, so half of it was already gone by the time he landed on the roof, even with enhanced reflexes.
So Earth isn't a haven, as I had thought, he mused to himself. It's just as embattled as the Otherworld itself. This was a disturbing development, and one that it would take time to get used to. But until then, there was nothing to do but to hold on, and hope that everything would begin to make sense soon.

"Follow me closely, and don't fall behind." I said.
Taking a jump up, I grabbed a metal bar that was supporting the rest of the ceiling with my gloved hand, and climbed up through the room until I found another opening. I climbed into it and stuck my head out so the others knew where I was.
Cyan held onto the bar with his hands and pulled himself up. It took a few seconds to reach the opening, but eventually he reached it and pulled himself through.

IC: The moon was high, sending a pale shadow across Sin’s delicate features. Red haunted eyes stared out onto the street, the eyes of a evil soul. I quit rubbing around my wrist and looked at Ryu without turning my head.
"Nothing. Its not like my other one." I replied, holding my uncovered arm up.
I stopped. I felt an unwanted presence. Maybe I was thinking it was someone else and was over exagerating, but I thought it to be a little far for someone I knew to be good, but really didn't like anyway.
"I sense something. I'm unsure of it, but Gekkani doesn't like it." I said to no one in particular.
I closed my eyes, and stood still. This was the only way I could let my other forms look all at once. There was someone else in here, and I never liked sneaky pursuers in an underground. All of myself agreed it wasn't good, which was a first since my whole self usually never agreed on anything as small as this.
"O csiq uiy'ma dama. Ndiq uiymnapt." I said threateningly.
Cyan strained again to understand the brief snatch of Otherworld-speak that Kiryu uttered, but again, it was too fast and too different from the tongues he knew to make any sense out of.
He sighed. This was, frankly, beginning to try his patience. He could wait well for moderate periods of time, but once things statred to get on his nerves, he really got annoyed.

I knew that someone who was going to be a threat was here, but I also knew that people were getting impatient with me. Impatience often lead to disbelief, then distrust. I decided to let it go, since even if it was a BL member, he wouldn't be able to get to the Ikka Tanshin, or even find his or her way back to it again. I walked up anderneath another grate, and pushed it open slightly. peering out from under it, I knew we were in the right place, so I lifted it up all the way, and put it against the wall. Putting my hand up to it, I made it a completely flat opaque piece of metal, that would still fit over the opening, but nothing could get through it, or see through it.
Whoever is behind us isn't going to be able to get through that. I told myself. At least without me noticing a change in aura and feeling.
We were at a dead ended alley, with a wall as high as the buildings went, with no turns anywhere. I waited for the complaints of people thinking I had lead them the wrong way.
Cyan smiled. He could tell that they weren't going the wrong way. It was probably a mixture of the elvish meditation and his natural patience that kept him from worrying, but without them he would have been all over Kiryu. In these times you couldn't be too careful.
Ryu popped up and looked around, noticing they were at a dead end. He thought they were going the wrong way, which annoyed him.
"We went the wrong way... this is a dead end..."
He got out and walked towards Kyriu and stopped next to her, looking at the wall and closing his eyes. He seemed to be able to tell this WASN'T a dead end.
"Or... is it..."

Tamaki watched Kiryu barricade the door with interest. Why was she doing that? To keep something out? Not really worrying about it, Tamaki turned to go on. And saw the dead end. Or, Tamaki wondered, fear creeping into her mind, to keep us in...?
Could it have all been a trap? Could Kiryu be leading them to their death? She'd followed blindly until now, but... Tamaki glanced back at Kiryu. She had been hading something, and whatever it was had to do with her arm, the covered one. Tamaki hadn't said anything- she knew what it was like, to think self conciously about your arms to avoid ridicule. But some how, she douted that it was an Orga'mech arm, like hers were. It was something else. Possibly something that could potentially kill them. Tamaki shivered. It was times like this she wished she had the freedom to carry her sword at all times. It was almost funny, how shocked some would-be attackers could be when they saw her ice blade.
Still, Tamaki wasn't about to go into hysterics. Keeping her calm, she waited for Kiryu to explain what was next. Tamaki still had things in her arsenal they hadn't seen yet, if worst comes to worst. She doubted anyone but maybe Kiryu herself had guessed that Tamaki was half ice dragon.

"Well, you perceptance is a little late." I commented. "I don't go the wrong way unless its been changed from underneath my own feet."
I walked up to the middle of the cement box we were in, waiting for the others. I looked up at the sky. It was about five, maybe later than that. I put my gloved hand on the left wall, then the one on the right, then the one a the back. Then I walked up to the one ahead of everyone.
"Go through here, and wait for me, don't go anyfurther until I've come to you." I said, gesturing towards the wall. "If you try and go any farther, you'll most likely get mistaken for trespassers and get mauled by Opal's and Batsu's secruity system."

Taamaki was relieved that the could get through, but still kept her guard up. the 'security system' didn't exactly sound fun. She stepped through, careful not to go to far, but still made roomed for the others to come. Vaguely, she wondered how much farther they had to go. Not a lot, surely?
Ryu walked towards Tamaki, walking next to her and yawning.
"So Tamaki..."
He looked at her, the resemblance was still there. He could tell she looked exactly like Rin, but he had to admit to the fact that she was dead. Nothing could bring her back.
"It's weird... that you haven't asked me why I have called you Rin... twice..."
He looked up at the sky, yawning again. He didn't show much emotion when he talked, except laziness.
"By now... someone would be asking why... you're different... like her..."

Tamaki watched as Ryu stepped through, and we walked over to her.
"So Tamaki..." He said, sounding as bored and sleepy as when she'd fist met him. He seemed to look at her for a second before going on. "It's weird... that you haven't asked me why I have called you Rin... twice..." He looked upwards, yawning again. "By now... someone would be asking why... you're different... like her..." Tamaki looked down, acting kind of embarassed.
"Well, it's your past," she replied truthfully. "There's no point in me asking you about it until you want to tell me. I... I don't want to open any old wounds..."
Ryu looked at Tamaki and pulled out a smile. This was the first time in a long time since he last smiled. The last time he smiled was the last day he saw Rin alive. He looked back up at the sky, sounding as sleepy as ever.
"I feel like... I can trust you for some reason..."
He yawned, kicking a rock up and grabbing it as it flew up infront of him.
"Well.. do you want to know?"
He threw the rock up with force, sending it very high in the air.

Etozin felt the anxiousness of those around him, and he felt it begin to rub off on him. He shook off the other's feelings and clung to Cyan's, the calm, medatative elf. Already feeling better, he watched Kiryu leave.
"If you try and go any farther, you'll most likely get mistaken for trespassers and get mauled by Opal's and Batsu's secruity system," she had said. The phoenix, who was not easily shaken, shuddered. What made Opal and Batsu so ferocious? He fluttered to a landing on Cyan's shoulder after a short twitter announced his presence, and observed Ryu and Tamaki.
"You see Tamaki..."
He lifted his arm up, his claws coming out of his hands as the rock he had thrown just now landed on the floor, split in half.
"When I was a little kid... there was this girl named Rin... she was my best friend, and I fell in love with her..."
He retracted his claws, looking at Tamaki, the memories of him and Rin together on the last day came flushing into his mind.
"I went to tell her one day how I felt... but... she was murdered by the same werewolf that made me what I am today..."
He grabbed the rock and crushed it in his hands, looking down for a moment.
"I swore that I would protect her... and I didn't... but... I wont fail to keep my new oath..."
He walked up to a wall, it seemed like a flash but the wall suddenly had three slash marks on it. Ryu retracted his claws, looking up at the sky as she balled his fist.
"I'll torture the werewolf that did this to me... I'll make him feel such pain... that he'll regret ever being born..."

Tamaki listened, feeling sorry for both Ryu and Rin all the while. It was a horrible thing to have happen- probably more horrible even than her own childhood.
"I, I'm sorry, Ryu..." Then, strengthened by the werewolves own resolve, she said, "I'll help you, in any way I can, to avenge Rin."
Ryu walked towards Tamaki, putting his arm on her shoulder. He nodded at her, shaking his tail lazily.
"Thanks... that means alot... Thanks very much Tamaki"
He felt a drop of water fall on his head. He looked up as a downpour suddenly came out of nowhere, drenching both him and Tamaki. He covered both him and Tamaki with his claw, though it didn't really make the rain drench them less.
"Rain... I detest rain... it was raining that day as well..."
Cyan felt the weight of the bird on his shoulder, and smiled. The dynamics of this group, even though they had only just met each other, were really quite interesting. Ryu the werewolf and Tamaki were sticking close together and having a conversation. Unable to resist, he tried to listen to what they were talking about. All he could make out was something about rain. But they couldn't be just talking about the weather, could they?

Nikassu wandered slowly towards the place that they had climbed up out of, looking around for an exit. His red eyes glowed for a moment, and he scutteled around the floor anxiously. The white mouse that was Nikassu slowly started to grow, two small protrusions sprouting from his mouth. His ears expanded, and he continued growing, until his white fur sank into his body, revealing leathery white skin. His eyes retained their whitish color, and his toes melded together, forming huge pillar-like feet. By this time, Nikassu resembled an elephant in shape, and his two large tusks protruded out in front of him. He slammed them into the ceiling, making a gaping hole in the concrete above him. Then, he melded quickly into a caterpillar, and started crawling up into the light above.
When he had made it into the small area, with walls all around as if a dead-end, and light showing in from above, Nikassu spotted a few people from the group he had seen earlier. He also saw the guide, and made sure to crawl out of her line-of-sight. The white caterpillar crawled onto one of the walls, and waited motionlessly for the group to move on.
Nikassu knew that the group had heard the loud explosion when he had burst a hole in the ground, but he was confident that they had not seen him before he changed into the little bug he was now.

I heard something. A voice said to me in my head. It's not good. They won't be able to go through the void though, but still, be on your guard.
When am I ever not? I replied sarcasitally.
I walked through the wall, coming to the others on the other side of the void. It was one of Shiruba's teleporters that was only usable my Sadavior blooded beings, and anything else she would let through. Anything else would go through an intense amout of pain and torture if they tried to use it.
As I came towards the others, it was dimmly lit, almost pitch black. We were in a huge forest, with tall, thick trunked trees that leaves held back the sunlight. Roots began to slither around the group, but when I came near, they withdrew back into the ground. That was Opal's trick.
"Now, everyone please follow me for a few minutes. Don't wander off, watch where I'm stepping...carefully." I said quietly.

Kiryu had finally appeared through the wall, looking a bit smug. She walked out into the forest they were near. Tamaki watched, horrified, when roots reached up out of the ground, but thy slowly went back under.
"Now, everyone please follow me for a few minutes. Don't wander off, watch where I'm stepping...carefully," Kiryu said, sounding unconcerned. Between the darkness and the rain, Tamaki was finding it difficult to keep up and watch her step, but she managed. At one point while following, she caught up with Ryu.
"You're welcome," she said, replying to his comment before. She remained silent for several more minutes before continuing.
"I... Don't know what kind of weapon you have, but have you heard of Ice Blades? They're mostly used in the Otherworld. They're blades are shaper and stronger than even steel. I, I could make you one. I mean, if you wanted me to..." Etozin chirped and flapped behind his guide, thinking he had nothing to worry about while flying, but thought he saw something move in the trees. He shrank back, unnerved, and fluttered closer to the ground.
Being an elf, Cyan knew something about trees. Every forest, even every cluster of trees, had its own feel. The forests where he had grown up felt full of light and benevolent. Some of the ancient forests of North America were wise and embattled, surrounded on every side. This forest, however, was malevolent. Not toward him, but to those who sought to pass without the mandate of the powers that controlled it. It was... wary. Alive. This was a very unnerving sensation.

Ryu smiled at Tamaki, extending his claws just to be safe. He didn't trust these trees one bit and he felt safer if he had something to hack them to pieces if needed. He turned his head back to Tamaki.
"It's okay... you don't need to... I use a katana that Rin made me... it's my most prized possession, and I don't want to dishonor her by not using it... thanks anyways Tamaki-Chan..."
He only called one other person "-Chan" and that person was Rin. The more he stayed with Tamaki, the more he felt like Rin was still there. He needed to admit to the fact that she was dead. No one or nothing could bring her back. He shook his head and quickly yawned, looking at the tree roots. If any of those were to fling at them, they'd be cut to pieces easily.

Stop. There is an intruder here. Gekkani told me. You're not able to sense him because you're too human.
Where is it? I asked.
Somewhere on, by or near the followers. She replied.
I stopped and turned around, facing the others. I held out my arms as if I were offering something, and two sword sheaths appeared in my arms. I didn't want to have done this now, but I knew that we were dealing with no ordinary spy. It had to have been a BL member. After all that I've seen, been through, I know when there is a bad thing coming.
"Here, take whats yours." I said, holding the two weapons out. "We have a pursuer, and cannot go any farther until we find that such being, or it retreats from its mission. Someone needs to pin point its location exactly. This isn't an ordinary BL member like the ones you've seen before. This one is a specialist, or a really lucky first timer."
Ryu looked at the sheath, looking at the design of it. It was a pure black with a crimson dragon on it. He grabbed it, holding it in his hands for a moment before taking it out of it's sheath for the first time since he had it. He looked at it intently, noticing the line that ran along the blade until the point. In the very middle, the words "Ryu Gatuki" were engraved. He smiled and pulled the sword out completely and saw a picture fall down to the ground after pulling it out. He picked it up and his eyes widened, it was a picture of Ryu and Rin together and the words "I love you Ryu" written in red. (Click (http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q241/psychopathic_demon_girl/Anime%20and%20Games/Romance/Couples/animecouple.jpg)) He held in the tears, putting the picture back in his pocket and taking a deep breath. He put the sword back in it's sheath, looking up at Kiryu with his eyes still teary. He muttered when he spoke.
"Thank... you..."
He put the sword on his back, taking out the picture again and starring at it. It was the same old face he used to love looking at everyday. He smiled at the pic, tears starting to roll down his face as his eyes gazed on the picture. He put it away again, putting his hand on his face and taking a deep breath.
"I can't believe... that you're gone Rin... I just can't... you look so alive and cheerful... but... but you're gone..."

Tamaki nodded in understanding. She'd never trade the sword made by her mentor for anything.
Without warning, Kiryu turned, holding out her arms. Two swards appeared in her hands.
"Here, take whats yours," she said, looking rushed. "We have a pursuer, and cannot go any farther until we find that such being, or it retreats from its mission. Someone needs to pin point its location exactly. This isn't an ordinary BL member like the ones you've seen before. This one is a specialist, or a really lucky first timer." Tamaki nodded, grabbing her sword as Ryu grabbed his. Her own seemed to contrast greatly to his. The scabbard was of white leather, soft but cold to the touch. Tamaki knew it was spelled to hold in cold. While ice blades would never melt, heat makes them weaker and more brittle. By keeping them in a cool scabbard, you can make them stronger and not worry about them snapping mid-battle. The hilt was white as well, with a deep blue sapphire as the pommel. She drew the weapon, revealing the crystal clear blade. Ice blades were things of beauty and death, which Tamaki knew quite well. She wasn't proud of the fact that she'd killed before with this clear blade, but she'd do it again if she needed to.
Ryu managed to calm down, putting away the picture back in his pocket. He rubbed his eyes, wiping the remaining tears off to manage to see better. He walked back towards Tamaki, looking at her blade. His face slowly went back to it's lazy look, noticeable by his usual yawn. He looked back infront of him, holding on to his sword's handle tightly.
"I've never seen an ice blade before... mind if I... grab it for a moment?"
There were no noticeable signs of the sadness he felt a few seconds back. It was like he could easily erase any kind of emotion and go back to his lazy expression. He pulled his sword out again, looking at the engraving that said his name.
"Rin always was a good blacksmith... she could make any kind of weapon... but none like this... she put her heart out to make this for me..."
Cyan nodded, thinking to himself. He knew that it wasn't uncommon for certain of the inhuman races to specialize as spies, especially shapechangers. Their powers could keep them hidden from nearly any being's senses, and even some sensor spells. I hope we find whatever it is soon, he thought wryly. We're taking long enough as it is to get to our destination. "Wait," he called to Kiryu. "Is there anything that spies like this are deathly afraid of? Something that they'll run from, no matter what?"

I wasn't making it up. The spy was on Rebelion teritory, and Shiruba was awake, and close by. If she didn't come, some friends of mine would, and the spy would have to deal with all of us. Nikassu saw that they had discovered his presence, and flinched. His mission had failed. Nothing to do now but kill them. After all, if he accomplished nothing, the BL would be displeased. However, he was on Rebellion territory, and that was a disadvantage. At least most of the people in the group seemed untrained.
The fly that was Nikassu slowly expanded, melding into a giant rhino, with white skin and red eyes. He stood like a stone in front of the group, looking at them. After realizing that most of them couldn't understand Otherworld speak, he spoke.
"I take it you are rallying more idiots to your hopeless cause, eh, Kiryu?" he said in a sinister voice, stomping the ground under his huge feet.
Reacting to the newly detected presence of the enemy shapeshifter, Cyan sprang up from his seat at the base of one of the trees. He pulled out his bow, and had an arrow nocked immediately. Deep within his mind, he imagined a scene, and with a mental flick, made it real. At once, the rhino was covered with squirming maggots, eating into its rock-hard skin with voracious insect jaws. It was only an illusion, but it would feel real until the rhino realized it was not real, and broke its power.
Beneath his feet, the trees... awoke, somehow. Their already-active consciousness became fully aware, and hostile to the enemy that had penetrated into their world.

Tamaki was about to reply when something caught her eye. Turning, she saw what had once been a fly grow and expand, changing quickly into a rhino. A shapeshifter.
"I take it you are rallying more idiots to your hopeless cause, eh, Kiryu?" The rhino said, it voice gruff and deep but sinister all the same. Before Tamaki herself could move, Cyan was in action. Triggering something, maggots appeared all over the rhino. Sickened, Tamaki backed away, her sword hand falling limp at her side. Regaining her composure, she quickly realized that she'd have no fighting chance against this beast. She slipped her blade back into its scabbard. She dropped to her knees, putting her hands into the soild. It wasn't difficult to draw moisture from the wet ground, seeing as it had just rained. She brought it out into the air, freezing it as she did. Not ready to release it yet, she held it as a large ball of snow in her hands. It didn't melt, all the water staying together as she kept control of the temperature around it. She could use it as a sort of mini blizzard to blind her foe when the time was right, leaving him open to attack.

"Idiot," Nikassu muttered, ignoring the maggots and charging towards the group. "Your new subbordinates are young and naive, Kiryu!"
He was speeding towards the group, the image of the maggots covering him slowly melting away into the air. His head was down, and his horn out in front of him, ready to spear anyone foolish enough to get in his way. "Think of this is your first test," he roared, the ground trembling as he neared the group.
"If you survive!"
"I take it you're one of them BL or whatever they are?"
Ryu smirked at the rhino, holding it back with his blade. He was getting pushed back, but he was holding him back the best he could. He closed his eyes, looking at his aura and reading his thoughts. When he opened his eyes, he grinned confidently, pushing against the rhino and managing to push it back slightly before jumping back.
"Nikassu? What a weird name... well, name's Ryu, hope you're not a pushover like the last guy I killed!"
He really didn't care if he was from some other side and wanted to kill him, all he cared about was a good battle. It ws obvious in the change of his expression, not a bored and sleepy one, but a confident and rilled up one.
"Well, let's get this battle started don't you think?"
He put the sword away in his back, extending his claws and starring at the rhino's eyes. He smirked, getting ready for another charge like that.

"Don't mess with me!"
He started charging towards Ryu, claws extended out in front of him.
Ryu charged towards Nikassu, his claws also infront of him. He smirked at what he had said, still focused on mostly battling.
"Don't mess with me!"
"Whatever! Like I care if I mess with you!"
Ryu's claws banged into Nikassu, pushing against each other with equal strength. He could feel the fact that changing into a werewolf and being the real thing, compared with each other, the real thing overpowered. But being in his normal state, and him being in werewolf state, they were at equal strength more or less.
"So Nikassu, where're you from? From this Otherworld place? Or from the normal world? I myself am from the normal world, got bitten by a werwolf. Sucks right?"

I knew I had to do something, but something was already happening to Nikassu, at least as long as he stood still for at least a few more seconds. The roots were already begining to coil around his legs. Knowing him, he had the overall training advantage. I heard more movement behind me, and a young girl with brown pants, a tight tan colored t-shirt with blonde hair and hazel eyes appeared out of nowhere.
"Myou, what are you doing here?" I asked, almost demanded.
"I'm here to help you since you called me." She replied. "Buru is coming too, but not for a little while."
"What I didn't..." I started, but realizing this was no time to argue. "Nevermind."
Myou was one of my few friends, or at least people I considered calling a 'friend'. I looked heartless that way, but it was how I lived. Having a specialty in fighting lychens, demons, vampires, draken, dragons and humans, Nikassu as a Werewolf was his mistake. I took my two weapons and with all haste attacked Nikassu. Myou jumped into the trees and aimed a tanto at him using the shadows of the branches as cover.
Cyan glared at the shapeshifter. Speaking in Otherworld, he placed a hand against a tree. Kyroth ghon. Iznwer ghon. Hpreth bucv, werqn opruz... The tree seemed to hear him, and gave a shiver. The forest roots, already tightening around the shapeshifter's legs, convulsed and tightened all at once. Nikassu watched as everyone attacked him, the vines slowly tightening around his legs, and Kiryu rushing towards him. He smirked, his form starting to shift.
"Men's lives are limited to age...they are, at some point, doomed to die. But me..." he muttered, wings sprouting out from where his arms were. His face started to elongate, and a long beak like structure took the place of his mouth. His eyes narrowed, and turned to a shade of yellow. The wings grew feathers, which were quickly covered up with a light flap of skin.
"I am older than time itself!"
His powerful and long beak-like mouth pecked away the vines holding him, and he soared into the air. The pteronodon that was Nikassu rose above the trees, letting out a gargantuan roar. Then, he turned, and flew off into the distance, disappearing in the light of the setting sun.
Although Nikassu was truly only 16 years old, his shapeshifting ability allowed not only for him to meld himself into something he has seen, but rather, anything that has been described to him. In this aspect, Nikassu has found that his preference is for bending his shape into that of a prehistoric beast. For that reason, Nikassu is referred to among the BL as the fossil.

Crystals of ice, smaller than hail but larger than snowflakes, were caught in and icy wind sent spiraling towards the shapeshifter. He was fully formed now, though. A flap of his wings sent the icy wind away, and though she urged it to catch up, it couldn't hold up to the backdraft of the creature's wings. The cool wind disappeared, and the crystals fell to the dirt, loosing their brilliance as they melted into water once more. Tamaki sighed heavily. She'd been unable to do anything to help. At least, now, it was gone.

I watched as Nikassu flew off, and saw that it was almost evening.
Older than time itself. Gekkani scoffed in my mind. Just because he can turn into an extinct creature of this world, doesn't make him so.
No, it doesn't. I agreed.
You must hurry. Its almost time for you to sleep, and for me to have my turn of freedom. Gekkani stated.
I knew my other form was right. Even thought I had begun to hear a fourth voice in my subconcious recently, I could distinguish one form's voice from the other. i looked at Myou, who had climbed down from the tree and stood beside me.
"Buru didn't come." I commented while putting my weapons back. "He did it to you again."
"Yeah, but he's sometimes truthful." She replied, knowing she had been tricked again.
"Yeah well, its not your fault. You're only human." I added.
What I said was true. Myou was just human. One of the few pure humans in the Rebellion. No one could really tell though, she fought similar to an Elven, and had some magic knowledge as an Elementalist.
"Now that he's gone, I'll have someone watch over head while we continue." I told everyone. "Please come this way."
With Myou beside me, we walked the final bit of path towards our HQ.

Etozin flapped after Kiryu, surveying the group in search of obvious injuries. Seeing none, he fluttered onto the shoulder of the elf again.
You can control the plant life even inside of magical boundaries, he noted, inclining his head with a chirp. I must admit I'm impressed. I don't know of many elves that have that level of magic.
((I just realized how short that was. I'm sorry.))
Ryu retracted his claws, noticing his hands were a bit bloody as he did. He got cut when he slammed his claws against Nikassu so it was kinda obvious. He put his hands in his pockets, the same, bored look returning to his face. He turned his head to Tamaki and urged her to pick up her pace, as if wanting to say something.
"So I jump in and block that guy's charge and not even a thank you? Last time I jump in first..."
He yawned, looking up at the sky as he followed close behind Kiryu.
"Hey, Kiryu, how far 'till the end of this dammed walk? It's starting to annoy me... I feel like you're leading us in circles..."

Myou turned around quickly and faced Ryu.
"You could show more respect to her." She told him in quite sudden anger.
I put my hand on her shoulder. "Its alright. They'll soon find out who really led them here when they talk to Shiruba."
We walked into a dim, misty clearing. The trees still hid most of what was left of the sunlight. I stopped infront of everyone and turned around.
"Everyone, welcome to the Ikka Tanshin."
Behind me was a huge mahogany colored mansion with a huge tree growing on one side of it, concealing part of the mansion. Roots twisted and wrapped around some windows, and half of the roof. There were many windows, and a large pair of dark brown double doors at the front. I walked up to the front door, and waited for the others to follow.
"You could show more respect to her."
Ryu smirked at the girl, walking past her without turning his head.
"Don't really feel like being more respectful. Deal with it"
Kiryu walked into a clearing, turning around to face everyone as she pointed behind her.
"Everyone, welcome to the Ikka Tanshin."
"The Ikka-Who-Now?"
He still didn't understand half of what they meant, so he just waited for an answer.

"Its the great huge building infront of you if you'd look infront of you for once." Myou answered getting frustrated.
"Calm down, you're only giving him what he wants out of you." I said to her calmly.
I put my hand on the wodden door. After a moment, it opened a small bit.
"Oh, so you're still kicking." A male voice said sarcastically from behind it.
"Just tell her we're here and waiting." I said. "And hurry. They're as impatient an teenage humans."
"Hey, I'm right here!" Myou commented abruptly.
"Except you." I added.

Etozin admitted to some confusion internally, but otherwise admired the beautiful building. He spotted some blood on Ryu's clothes, then let out a small chirp, searching for the source of the wound. He closed his eyes, then winced as the cut on Ryu's hand was transferred to his wing. It had mostly stopped bleeding, and wasn't big, but it still stung like anything. He flinched from pain and flapped his wings in an attempt to stay on Cyan's shoulder after the sudden shock of the injury.
Forgive me, he apologized, preening himself in an attempt to regain his composure.

(Oh noes! I gotta post!)
Tamaki trailed behind, still upset that she had failed so miserably to do anything in the fight. She ignored the others, going over the situation again and again in her head, trying to find something she could have done to have been more careful. She didn't notice anything, not even Ryu's look back to urge her to move forward, until she heard something Kiryu said.
"Everyone, welcome to the Ikka Tanshin." Tamaki looked up, slightly confused, until she saw the building in front of her. It was huge and beatiful all at once, a magnificent mansion.
"Wow..." She said to herself, hardly beliving her eyes. Kiryu openned the door, and a voice drifted out to them.
"Oh, so you're still kicking." It was masculine, and seemed to drip with sarcasm.
"Just tell her we're here and waiting," Kiryu replied shortly. "And hurry. They're as impatient an teenage humans."
"Hey, I'm right here!" Another girl that Tamaki didn't recognize said angrily. Tamaki stared at her questioningly. The girl hadn't been with them when Kiryu had 'gathered' them off the streets. She must have joined during the fight. And, she was human, apparently...
"Except you," Kiryu added. Tamaki watched the open door. All this confusion... Had it finally come to an end? Would everything, at long last, be explained? Or, she thought grimmly, as she had before, were they being led to their deaths? It seemed unlikely, and yet... She put her hand loosely on the hilt of her sword, anyway.
(Tamaki is so doubtful. At least she has her sword back.)

The door finally opened enough for us to go inside. The inside was a dark green colored ballroom-like chamber with two stairways decending from each side. There was a hallway at where the stairs began to fall. There was a landing between the two stairways that lead to the upper floor. There were doors underneath the stairs that lead to various rooms I was familiar with. The ceiling was high, it almost gave the feeling like we were still ouside.
Along the ceiling there was cloth to make a more warmer feeling in the mansion. I looked over to an open door, in which I knew we were to go. I looked at Myou and nodded at her. She made her way up the right staircase while I headed for the open door.
"In here please." I said to everyone.
I walked in to the breifing room. Basically it looked like a lengthy living room with a conference table at the end of it. Halfway down the room there was a line that went along the floor, on the walls and on the top of the ceiling. I leaned against one of the walls next to the chair that was facing the opposite wall away from the door.
Ryu walked into the conference room, looking at the design of it. He yawned as he sat down on one of the chairs and put his legs on the table, closing his eyes and crossing his arms.
"I've seen better..."
He started tapping his boots together, waiting for whatever it is they were gonna say now.
"So... when exactly are we gonna start this thing? Because if it ain't soon, I'm falling asleep..."

"Would suggest you take your legs off of my table." The person behind the chair said as she turned around to face everyone.
It was Shiruba. Even though she wasnn't what she appeared to be, she looked like she was a young adult female human, gold hair with light brown streaks, copper colored eyes, and an always calm gentle face. Shiruba wore a tight reddish brown t-shirt and black jeans. She had a zippered shirt over her tshirt that was black as well.
"Now, as I've observed, and heard from all of you, you want some explainations." She continued. "As you've given your protector a very hard time which I'm not to happy about. Nevertheless, no one is seriously injured and Nikassu didn't have a successful mission."
I stood leaning on the wall with my eyes closed, knowing I would leave soon.
"Now, in order for me to explain, I need qustions."
At that I walked to the other side room, being tired of hearing this same thing over and over again. The line that went around the room was a sound barrier, so I would only hear silence on the side of the room I was on while Shiruba explained to them what they wanted to know.

Etozin looked up in awe at the humanoid female, fluttering onto the back of the chair Ryu was sitting in. He spread his wings and lowered his head, leaning forward in a deep bow of respect, then straightened himself.
Who exactly are the BL? he asked her carefully. Why are they fighting you--us?
"Would suggest you take your legs off of my table."
Ryu groaned as he took his feet off the table, putting his arms on the table and raising an eyebrow.
"Happy now?"
Respect wasn't exactly his best game, no matter to whom he was talking to. Police, teachers, a boss, whatever, he would act like they were an ordinary person. He heard the comment of not being too happy from annoying Kiryu, but he really didn't care and went straight for the question, but first, her name. He closed his eye and read her aura, opening his eyes again and putting one of his hands on his chin.
"Well Shiruba, for starters, why exactly was I forced to come here? What if I didn't want to be in this war or whatever this crap is? I do, as the thrill of a fight is just too irresistible, but I want to know anyways..."
Saraibre Ryu
06-15-2007, 03:10 AM
Shiruba took out a small coin and practiced her slight of hand with it as she answered both questions.
"First, we aren't forcing anyone to do anything. We were making sure the BL couldn't sap your souls from your bodies, take all the knowledge from whatever memory they literaly stole from your mind and used it to turn this world into hell." She began calmly. "The BL are a group of Rangage blooded beings, seeing to destroy this world and all humans living in it. because of the masacre of Otherworld people in the few hundred years back of us first arriving. We, the Sadavior blodded, see nothing to be learned from, gained, or anything beneficial to this act, and are against it, therefore, trying to save human kind. The BL see to eliminate anyone who gets in their way, no matter who it is."
She continued passing the coin through her fingures without paying much attention to it.
"You were brought here to know that the Ikka Tanshin is a place of frefuge for all those who have been targeted, and attacked by the BL, as most of the places outside of here aren't nessicarily safe anymore after encountering a BL demon." She continued explaining. "Do you know who really led you here?"

As it was, Tamaki had plenty of questions. She was far too shy to voice them, though. She was guessing that, whoever this woman was, she was the leader of Kiryu's group that was defying the BL. It's simply easier tolet others ask the questions for her, and not bring attention to herself. So, she listened intently, but kept her eyes down on the table, not willing to look around at the others.

Shiruba noticed Tamaki's timid behavior, but understood and left her be. She folded her hands, put them infront of her face. and closed her eyes.
"I guess that no one know's who Kiryu really is since no one has answered me." She commented. "Kiryu, is only one name that your guardian has. Her real name is Ryuujin, as if you wanted to talk with all of her listening to you when you spoke. Kiryu is her human form name. Gekkani is her half demon form, Zensoku, her normal demon form, Temna her full demon lord form, and Metaru, her true demi-god form. Metaru, as some of you may or may not know is the demi-god of metal. Metaru Ryuujin was the daughter of Bahamut Ryuujin, lord of all dragon kyn. That was her father, but was killed when we came to this world."
Shiruba opened her eyes, and sat up in her chair. She glanced at the clock. It was 6:30pm, and she knew it was getting late, and I needed to be alone at night. Or at least away from most people. Getting up, she motioned for me to come into the area past the sound barrier again.
"It is getting late, and you still have some things to do before the night ends. Ryuujin will explain anything else you want to know, as she will be awake all night as she always is. Right now, you are to choose your rooms that you will be staying in if you want to live her, or ever come for a lengthy amount of time. We will meet again soon."
With that, she walked behind her chair, and disappeared. I sighed, knowing that there wasn't much time between now and moonrise, before I would have to sleep, and Gekkani would be fully awake. Shiruba was right, I never physically slept, or actually slept like a regular human. Standing in the middle of the group, I looked around at everyone, then went to the door, waiting for everyone to follow.

"Her real name is Ryuujin, as if you wanted to talk with all of her listening to you when you spoke," Shiruba had said. Etozin landed on her shoulder and twittered to get her attention.
Ryuujin? With all due respect, is there some reason you have four separate identities? he asked her suddenly.

"They aren't separate identities." I answered correcting him respectfully. "They're other 'sides' of me, because of what I am. They all had their own names, not because I gave it to them, simply because that is who they are called."
I leaned up against the wall with my arms crossed, having a feeling more questions were going to be directed towards me. Though I really didn't like explaining much about myself, I'd do it this time, since they were all knowledge hungry.

It's best to let others talk. I'm... Not good at it, Tamaki replied to the Phoenix. She didn't want to speak, not now, with everyone around. She felt too exposed.
However, learning of Kiryu, no, Ryuujin's true identity was startling. She was some kind of dragon, mixed with demi-god and demon and goodness knows what else, but she was a dragon. Tamaki had met very few other dragons in her life time, only what she considered to be the two extremes of her kind- her father and her mentor. Still, both were ice dragons. Never had she talked to a dragon of the other varieties. She'd heard the name of Bahamut briefly before, from her mentor long ago. She remembered being told he was 'king of dragons', so to speak. And this was his daughter? It was almost hard to believe.
When Shiruba disappeared, Tamaki felt as though a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. Even though the woman had seemed to have great powers, that wasn't the only reason Tamaki felt more relaxed with her gone. She'd come to know the others a bit, even in the short time they'd been together, and become somewhat comfortable in their presence. Emboldened by Etozin's words and whatever kinship she might have with Ryuujin, she approached the guide, albeit hesitantly.
"R-Ryuujin?" Tamaki said, slowly. "What... What are the other dragons like?" It seemed silly to be asking, but still, it was a question burning inside Tamaki, one she doubted the others would ask.

IC: I looked up at Tamaki, wondering why she asked this, but would find out later on when it bugged the rest of me the most.
"There were many different kinds of us. Wyvern's, Amphithere's, Knuckers, Lindworms, what humans call 'European' dragons, we were all different, there was never the same dragon, even a twin had plenty of differences. What human's say in this world about dragons is scarcely true." I answered calmly.
I fiddled around with something in my pocket before taking my gloved hand out of it.
"Being part dragon demi-god, and part dragon demon, more than two thirds of me is dragon. The other third is demon, demi-god, and a small bit human." I continued. "I never obtained a completely human body though."
I put my other hand on where the bandages were. If she wanted to see my other arm, she could. I was in the Ikka Tanshin, so it didn't matter if I revealed it or not.

Tamaki blinked, realizing quickly that Ryuujin didn't realize that she herself was part dragon.
"I mean, what are they like in personality? Do they vary, like humans?" She looked down sheepishly. "I've only been around humans most of my life. I... I'm part dragon as well. Ice dragon."

Wow. An ice dragon. Etozin was mildly amused. He had never met any dragons in person before, but had heard they were, as a whole, misconstrued as overtly bloodthirsty. Tamaki didn't seem like that sort of person.
I... haven't met many dragons. I mainly stayed in my forest, where werewolves were the primary predators. Forgive me, he explained sheepishly.
((Sorry about the shortness. I blame my lack of creativity on my fanfic.))
Ryu got up, walking towards the wall and lying back against it. His eyes were closed and his arms were crossed. Although he detested helping, something was telling him to stay.
"Ta...a...i..."
"What're you trying to say..."
He opened his left eye, in his face, it was noticeable he looked slightly pensative. He glanced at Tamaki for a moment, his eyes starring at her for some reason before pulling away, once again looking at the floor.
"You're saying... I've got feelings for Tamaki-Chan?"
"I... vious... yo... o..."
Ryu shook his head, opening both his eyes, which flashed a dark yellow for a second before turning back to a dull purple. His usual color. He walked towards Tamaki, stopping infront of her for a moment before continuing his walk. He stopped next to the chair he was sitting on a few minutes ago, turning his head to Ryuujin.
"Ryuujin... do you have somewhere I can look out the moon? I need some time to think..."
He glanced at Tamaki again, sighing as he closed his eyes, turning his head back to Ryuujin as he opened his eyes, now a slight more bright purple.

OOC: Okay. Well, Ryuujin has four...no, five voices in her head besides her own.
IC: "Yeah, shouldn't you be watching the moon tonight Ryuujin?" A voice said from behind me before I could answer.
I turned around, unwillingly, and annoyed. It was Riyune. Another member of the Rebellion. One I especially detested. He had gold blonde hair that just covered his ears, wore a brown t-shirt, and blue jeans. He also had black shoes and brown eyes. He was of an athelic stature, and was taller than I was.
"I see you brought more newlings to the Ikka Tanshin." He added.
"Stay out of my buissness Riyune." I said to him. "This is not yours to interrupt. Especially about the moon."
He laughed quietly to himself and walked up toward the group.
"Still doen't change the fact that its getting late for you." He continued.
"Its none of your buisness," I said to him darkly. "now get out of here now, and take Cyan, Etozin, and Ryu to your guest room. Tamaki, please come with me."
I began walking up the stairs, hoping Tamaki would follow me, and the others would go with Riyune.
"Why are you dropping the rest of your people on me?" He called after me.
"I'm not." I answered, stopping half way up a staircase. "All the guys go in your guest room, the girls come into mine, or has your pyromanic-like head already forgotten?"
He glared at me at my insult. I glared back at him, and waited for Tamaki to follow.
"Ryu, if you need to see the moon, Riyunes balcony is an ideal spot. If you need it to be more private, just take a walk in the back gardens. Riyune will show you the way." I added, remembering his question.
Ryu looked up at Ryuujin, looking back down as he looked at his hands, obvious signs of him wanting to come out. His arm was starting to get furrier, his claws were starting to grow. He quickly put his hand in his pockets, closing his eyes before walking towards Riyune.
"Thank you..."
Ryu said thank you for once. Something he never even thought about doing. His eyes started flashing back to his old colors.
"Well... can we go now?"

Riyune nodded to Ryu and began accending up the opposite stair well. After going down a long hallway, passing many door's, most of them with, some black, Riyune stopped at a black door with some markings on it. Placing his hand in an octagonal indent, the door opened and Riyune walked inside.
It was similar to a hotel room; a mahogany wood floor, a couch, and a couple chairs around a circular table. There was a balcony that went along the side of the room, showing what could've been seen of the evening sky.
Riyune sat in one of the leather chairs, his hand on his forehead, rubbing it as if he had a pain in his skull.
"The guest room is that door to the right, balcony behind me." He said, not really paying attention to anything.

Tamaki was startled by the sudden appearance of a strange man. She shied away, reluctant to approach him. From Ryuujin's demeanor, Tamaki doubted that she liked him, either. Ryuujin ordered the man, named Riyune, to take the others to a guest room, seeing as they were all guys. Ryuujin motioned for Tamaki to follow, and she did, hurrying to keep pace with the other girl.
Tamaki didn't say anything as they walked. She'd begun to worry about Ryu.The werewolf appeared a bit off, but Tamaki guessed it was probably something to do with the moon. She'd seen the fur grow on his arms, and she thought it was kind of creepy.

Etozin perched on the balcony ledge. He never did well confined in small, cramped places. He much prefered the feeling of being freer. He let out a contented coo and began to preen himself. Being underground for so long really bothered him, and he felt unclean.
He peered up into what could be seen of the sky, wondering what was wrong with Ryu. He worried for the werewolf, and there was conflicting emotions within him. He wasn't sure what was inside of Ryu's head, as he had no telepathy, but his empathy was driving him quite mad with the uneasiness. He wanted to find out what was wrong with Ryu without spying on him entirely.
Ryu was standing on the balcony's ledge, starring at nothing. His eyes flashed dark yellow again, the fur in his arms starting to grow more until they covered the whole arm. It was a very dark blue, with a few black on it. His face started growing red markings as his left eye retained the yellow color, yet his right eye remained purple.
"Now... I can think in peace..."
He closed his eyes, staying unmoving on the ledge except for his breathing, but other than that, he was immobile.
"Tamaki... why is it that I feel so different around you... Rukaki hasn't acted up like this in so long..."
He shook his head, taing a deep breath as his purple eye opened.
"I think... is her reminding me of Rin waking Rukaki up...?"

I walked through a scarlet colored hallway, passing many white doors, and very few black ones until I stopped at one of them. I placed my hand on a metalic engravement, and the door opened. Inside was my room. It had a dark brown colored wood floor that looked very clean. The walls were a navy blue, almost black color, the ceiling a dark silver. There was a short wooden table in the middle of what was the living room, with cusions to sit on placed around it and there were cloth blinds over the windows. There was a sliding glass door that lead to my own balcony, where one of the huge tree roots that covered half of the house grew around. There was a push door to the kitchen, with an opening in the wall between the dinning room table and the actual kitchen. There were more doors to the left side of my room, where the guest room, bedroom and rest room were. There was a television along the opposite side of the wall, facing the balcony, sitting on a small entertainment center. It was similar to Japanese culture, but mostly what I wanted it to look like.
I walked in with a small sigh, happy to be in my own personal space. I really couldn't say it was all mine, I shared a room with about two other people. Myou, and another friend of mine who was out on an objective at the time. I looked out one of the open windows, knowing it was Gekkani's turn to have some freedom.
"If you'll excuse me Tamaki, I'm going to rest for the night." I told her politely, turing towards her. "Gekkani is a better person to talk to about what you want to know about dragon kyn."
Without waiting for a reply, I walked across the room and onto the balcony. I stared up at the moon, feeling tired, than into a sleep, even though it didn't look like it. Then, in the light of the moon, I changed into Gekkani. My other, visible arm became dragonic, covered in midnight blue scales and sharp claws where my finger nails were. Where my human ears were, now my dragon ears were. Wings stretched out and appeared on my back and a tail that had topaz colored rings on it, and a tree pronged crest on the end that I used as an extra hand appeared as well. I opened my eyes, which were now amber colored and had slit pupils instead of circular ones. With a sigh, she relaxed, and walked back in, closing the door behind her.
"I am Ryuujin Gekkani." She said to Tamaki with a slight bow. "Gald to finally meet someone myself in person."

Tamaki followed Ryuujin all through the corridors, silently wondering how far away their destination was. they finally stopped at a black door. Ryuujin laid her hand upon it, openning it. The room beyond was more normal than Tamaki would have expected, but then, she supposed even here your home could only be so different. Ryuujin excused herself, saying that Gekkani would be better at explaining things. As her guide walked out onto the balcony, Tamaki waited. She didn't have to wait long.
The being that returned resembled Ryuujin, but with more... Draconic features. In all, Gekkani reminded Tamaki greatly of her own half human form.
"I am Ryuujin Gekkani," she said, bowing slightly. "Glad to finally meet someone like myself in person." Tamaki nodded, words briefly failing her. She felt much the same way.
"I, I am Tamaki," she said, unsure if Gekkani would know her name. "Yes, I am a dragon, an ice dragon, but I have only been around a few of my own kind. I, I was wondering... What are they like? Personality wise, I suppose, the way they act." Tamaki looked down at her feet. She suddenly realized that that was probably one of the longest things she'd said to anyone since her mentor died.
Ryu kept looking out the balcony, unmoving until his left eye changed to yellow. Now both were yellow, more of an orange, yet still slightly yellow.
"Crap... Rukaki, no one can see you yet! Get out of here!"
"Ryu" jumped off the ledge, running at full speed as his claws grew out. He passed though a set of trees, now his ears were gone, and now he had wolf ears on the top of his head. He also had a longer, furrier tail. He passed another set of trees, now his entire body was covered in fur. "Ryu" wasn't Ryu anymore, but Rukaki, his full wolf form.
"Ah... it's good to be out again... needed some fresh air... now Ryu, you can sleep now... I'll take over for now..."
"Yeah... yeah..."

"Personality wise? Well, we were just as diverse as a humans." She started. "They all acted differently, depending on their species, element, or their monarch. Some were tyrinical, who were, many years ago, imprisoned by my father. Some were as the humans have known them: Stealing jewels, kidnapping females of royal blood, ect. Some were philisophical, who represented as oracles. some were highly respected as teachers, leaders, mentors. Each dragon was respected for their own qualities, even ones who treated others poorly."
Gekkani waved her hand over the table, and a pair of clay, handleless cups appeared with a steaming tea inside. She took one and drank a small bit of it before continuing.
"There was one thing that dragons did not posses in their personalities until, as its put in this world, 'the early medieval times'. This then seperated the two classifications of dragons, then soon becoming four."

"Ah... it's good to be out again... needed some fresh air... now Ryu, you can sleep now... I'll take over for now..."
Etozin woke up from his sleep and saw who he assumed to be Ryu leaping over the balcony ledge. He let out a concerned twitter and flapped into the air, then seeing a fully-transformed wolf.
Ryu! he called after the wolf, fluttering just overhead in the trees. He had never understood the psychology behind infected werewolves; was Ryu even aware?
Ryu! Ryu, get back here! If you go out, someone's going to get hurt! It could be you! Snap out of it! he shouted, hovering over him. He waited for the wolf to show some sort of reaction.
Rukaki smirked, his claws aiming straight at the phoenix.
"Ryu is asleep, you can go now..."
He turned around, taking just one step before running full speed. He even left a dust trail in his wake.
"Like anything here can even MANAGE to hurt me..."
Overconfidence leads to failure...
"Shut it and rest. You've had a long day..."
"Jeez mom... you don't have to snap at me..."
"Fine... I'll calm down my little Ry-Ry..."
"God... you sure know how to embarrass a guy..."

Etozin was confused by the conversation between the wolf and whomever he was communicating with. He let out a screech, startled when the dust cloud drifted upward toward him. He flapped his way through and tried to keep an eye on the wolf. It was obvious that who he thought was Ryu had spotted him and was running faster than he could fly. Etozin, still watching the wolf, hesitated in his pursuit for several moments.
If Ryu were hurt, the Rebellion...
Ryuujin.
He tried to reach Ryuujin telepathically, hoping that he wasn't out of range.
Forgive me, Ryuujin. Is it a problem if Ryu has run off in his full wolf form? I admit concern, he told her, gliding in the air, tracking the wolf.

Nikassu sat on the ground, bathing in the ominous light of the moon. His current shape was that of a giant toad; he sat lazily in a swampy-looking area with a rickety, wooden booth to his right. The booth was vacant, and Nikassu was the only intelligent being around for miles. A moldy old sign stood to his left, with something in Otherworld messily scrawled onto it. The words were red, and it looked as though the message was written in blood. The overwhelming smell of the bog where Nikassu sat was hardly bearable, but the swampy climate was perfect for a toad. The swamp around him slowly melted into forest as it went on. Suddenly, Nikassu's head shot up, and his red eyes looked straight ahead, towards the place that the bog started to turn into forest. He quickly shifted his shape to that of a wolf, and his white nose rose into the air, sniffing. His lips curled, and he spoke.
"...Someone's coming..."

Gekkani heard a voice in her head, requesting her assistance.
Yes, it is, as the teleporting aura fades and takes you to Stanley Park. She replied. I'll be there in a second.
Gekkani put the cup of tea down, grabbing a short, black trench coat, putting it on.
"Something has come up with Ryu." She told Tamaki. "You're welcome to follow me, but stay close, or you'll end up somewhere you don't want to be."
Gekkani opened the balcony door, and leapt off the side of the balcony, my wings spread wide. She looked around for Etozin. She then sensed the blood of the BL.
Great, this is just convenient. She thought to herself. Etozin, I am not Kiryu Ryuujin now. I'm Gekkani Ryuujin. Please don't be alarmed by my appearance when you see a half dragon human looking for you.

I'll keep that in mind. Thank you for warning me in advance, I might have been extremely startled, he told her. He saw what looked like white fur in the forest, and let out a screeching sound, fluttering down.
You'd best watch out, shapeshifter, he cursed at the white patch, hoping he hadn't confused it with something else.
OOC: I haven't noticed 'till now, but I've put "he" instead of "she" with Rukaki ><
"Zzz..."
"And finally he falls asleep..."
Rukaki kept jumping through the trees, her claws behind her as she smelled a dragon's scent. She stopped in her tracks. Standing on one tree branch as she started sniffing the area. She already knew she was being chased...
"Hmm... whoever's coming... is a though one... I might not be able to take him or her on..."
"Holy [censored] mom, did you just admit to being powerless to someone?!"
"Shut up Ryu... I know when I'm outmatched... but jeez... a girl can't get some fresh air without having the ass brigade after me..."
Rukaki sat down on the branch, sniffing the air to see how far the dragon was. Not too fa aperantly as the scent was getting stronger and stronger.
"Hmm... the scent is faint... but in the dragon's scent, I can smell some of that Ryuujin girl..."
"Mom, does it look like I care?"
"Not that I know of because I can't look!"

Nikassu saw the bird-like creature flutter down towards him.
You'd best watch out, shapeshifter, he spat out, his eyes looking straight at the wolf-shaped BL member.
Nikassu immediately shifted to a cobra, which disappeared under the leaves, and slithered slowly around, making a circle-path around the one who had spoken to him. Then, silently, he drew himself up behind the bird creature, opened his powerful jaws, and leapt into the air towards him.

Gekkani felt the sense of poison, and that meant two things: it was a serpent demon, Nikassu as a venomous snake, some other poisonous creature that was about to strike, and that I needed to change forms. Passing through the shadowsm I changed from my half form, to my lesser demonic form, Zensoku Ryuujin.
Zensoku looked like a raptor, dark, evergreen scales with black triangular stripes all down from my face to my back, and barb-like spines from my head to the end of my tail. I had golden eyes, and deadly sharp claws. Sprinting, I came to a small clearing where Etozin was just about struck by a cobra. I lunged at it, trying to throw it out of balance.
"You imbasilic serpent." I growled at it, my voice sounding like there were two separate ones, and in a demonic like tone.

Nikassu was hit, and he was sent spiraling into a tree. As he hit it, his body wrapped around the truck, quickly climbing the tree. Then, his shape turned to that of a cricket, and he used his powerful hind legs to rocket off the tree, into the air straight above Zensoku and the bird creature. Nikassu turned into an elephant, and started plummeting down towards the two, his immense weight seconds away from crushing them.

Being in a lesser demonic form, I had a different personality. One that liked a challenge, and something that was out of my real one: tormentation. It was a result of my past history, and only that. Besides the fact that I was a demon, I acted alot like one. Almost oo much like one.
I gave a dark smile and with a quick footing, I darted out from underneath Nikassu, taking Etozin with my by accident. Being Zensoku, my name meant what I had total control over, and what my best trait was. Speed, and agility. I turned and looked at Nikassu.
"Obviously you're not familiar with me." I said in my two toned demonic voice. "Better be careful, or you'll regret dealing with me."

Etozin let out a startled screech and flapped upward and away from the falling elephant. His feathers fluffed out and he hissed, crown raised, a sign that he was extremely ticked.
I go into the forest to make sure Ryu is ok, and I get attacked by a shapeshifter! Etozin grumbled, flapping up at Nikassu's face and folding his wings flat against his body, then switched, claws thrust forward, wings flapping only to keep control of his accelerating body, aiming to pierce both of Nikassu's eyes and at least temporarily blind him.

I was about to launch myself onto Nikassu, when I was nearly flattened by a huge demonic spider. I rolled out from underneath it before it could crush me.
"Ha! Remember me Ryuujin?" It asked in a demonic, raspy voice. "I doubt you do, but then why shouldn't you?"
I got back on my feet, but he pinned me down hard, and I wasn't able to get up.
"Now I'll kill you and my master will be pleased!"
Just then, out of no where, a scarlet, three tailed dog like creature, that had foxes tails, wolf's stature, dog-like head, except for the horns that curved out the sides and pointed forwards, came and tackled the overly sized insect. I got up and backed up a bit into a clearer part of the now battle area, and the creature came walking backwards until it was next to me.
"That's the second time." He commented.
"Your chivalry isn't appreciated I had control over my situation." I snarled. "As Zensoku, you can be less prideful of yourself Riyune."
Indeed it was Riyune, in his Fire Fox cross Pyro demon form. Besides being partly human, thats what he was. He was a fairly good elementalist in the area of fire, but he was mostly a pyromanic. The giant spider was another BL member, no doubt here to help Nikassu. It was Teru, the insect shifting demon, meaning he could only change into bugs. Unlike a normal shapeshifter where he could change into anything, but not harness the abilities of what he changes into, he could strengthen the statistic of any insect, making him hard to defeat at times.
"You stupid exuse for a demon, Nikassu and I will kill you all!" Teru cried out.

You're lucky yourself! What's a good fighter like you doing with the BL anyway? He hit the ground before he had morphed fully, and one of his legs had been fractured. He morphed into a komodo dragon, and started crawling towards the now-stung Phoenix, limping on his back left leg.

Ugh... give up already! Etozin hollered, hissing at the same time, feathers fluffed out. You're hurt badly! Why don't you give up? Ryuujin will wipe you out! he taunted him, fluttering. The poison was already making him numb. He cursed in Otherworld, hovering a few inches from the ground, screeching loudly, trying to catch the attention of other Rebellion members that may or may not have been in the area, beak and talons ready to go for the Komodo Dragon's face.
"You want a party eh?"
Rukaki suddenly appeared out of nowhere and slammed her claws into the komodo dragon's side. Sure, Rikaku didn't care much 'bout anyone other than Ryu, but she couldn't give out the secret that she wasn't Ryu to anyone else. But it was pretty obvious that it wasn't Ryu as her voice was more lady-like.

Just before the impact, Nikassu shifted into a porcupine, and shot his quills out at Rikaku and Etozin. Then, he quickly transformed into a stegosaurus, so that the attack simply made a small scratch in his leathery defense. His tail whipped around towards the two, and he roared with killing intent.
"Time to end a few lives!" he yelled, swinging his tail at them while the quills still shot towards the two. "Two attacks...how do you plan to deal with this?" he thought, a disgruntled look taking over his face.

Ryu! Ryu, get away! Etozin hollered. Had Ryu's voice changed when he transformed? Maybe... No.
Ryuujin... Tamaki... Cyan... where are you? he moaned. I'm hurt... badly, he realized, fighting to stay awake. I can't give up yet! he let out a twitter and stood up, his tremors the only sign that he would possibly lose. The fiery spirit of the phoenix was still existant in him, and it was not as wounded as his physical body.

I felt anger rise inside my chest. Not just because new, untrained people were being hurt, and I stood there and did nothing, but because I was foolish enough to get caught in a trap. The reason why I didn't move, was because I couldn't move. I could move my head, but I couldn't move to make an attack. I turned my head to the dark shadows behind me.
"Siress." I growled darkly.
A dark, feminine snicker came from the shadows, and a fast moving blur that was undistinguishable moved from one side of the area to another, encasing Riyune, Ryu and even Etozin in the same paralisis trap I was in. Out of the shadows came an elven looking woman, but she was too dark to be an elf. She wore all black robes, blackish red gloves, and her skin was deathly white. Her hair was no different.
"Nikassu. Teru. How rude of you not to invite a lady to this gathering." The woman said casualy.
"Siress! What do you want here?" Teru demanded.
She flipped her hair back and laughed. "Unfortunately, the Overlord wants us present for somthing important. Especially the new guy."
The 'new guy', was a referal to Nikassu obviously. She had emphasized the word, important, in a serious tone, hoping to get the message through that it was urgent.
"And, we may want to go, even if we aren't on Rebellion turf, we're in the middle of a huge public gathering for humans during the day, and don't want anymore blood spillage for the time being." She added smoothly.

Gekkani suddenly climbed to her feet. She said that Ryu was in danger, and that she was needed. Tamaki could come... If she could keep up. Gekkani took off from the balcony, her wings carving the air as she flew. Tamaki was struck with indecision. To follow, she had to transform. It had been so ong since she'd last done so. Not since her arms had been torn off by her father. Her mechanical limbs would shift to her new form, but still... Tamaki shook her head. She had to go. Ryu, who had become something like a friend to her, was in trouble. She'd failed them before. She wouldn't again. Her mind made up. She began to change.
Her shirt tore as leathery wings thrust through the fabric. A tail came through the back of her pants. She slipped off her shoes, claws forming and cutting holes in her socks. Metal fingers became claws as well, and spines began to sprout along her back. Her eyes glittered with new determination. She felt powerful in this new form, with the ability to do whatever task lay before her. Shyness and insecurity was gone, replaced with confidence. She leaped through the window to follow the other dragon.
She arrived, only to see the fight had already begun. Etozin was hurt. She didn't go to him, though, and instead dove for Nikassu, clawed hands outstretched to rake him. Porccupine spines would do little against solid metal.
She was almost close enough to attack when a numbing sensation overcame her body. Blackness surrounded her and her teammates. It originated from a black clad elven woman. In this state, her inability to fight enraged Tamaki. She remained dumbfounded at first, while whatever form Ryuujin had taken now spoke with the woman, before she lost her temper and attempted to thrash in the hold, to no avail. Finally, she decided to take out her frustration on the elven woman, Siress. The air grew suddenly cold, dropping in temperature extremely quickly. The majority of the cold seemed to be centered around Tamaki and Siress. Frost formed on the ice dragon's wings, though the full extreme of the cold hadn't reached Siress yet.

"Whats this? An angry Ice dragon?" Siress inquired sarcastically. "I'd thought I'd never see one angry."
I growled at her darkly. I knew that I couldn't move, but I knew that if her allies attacked, then the aura would disapperate and we'd be free to attack again. I felt another presence mong us, one that wasn't held back by the paralyzing aura. I looked back, and I knew who it was almost insantly. There was a croosbow's shot and a bloody wound appeared on Siress' shoulder. She then suddenly became abnormally angry and lashed out aat who shot the bolt. That person was Myou.
"You little rotting mass of flesh, I'll sap you clean of all your blood!" She cried.
I tried furiously to break out of the aura. After about a second, Siress threw rune marked knives at Myou, who now couldn't move because of the aura. I leapt in the way of the knives, its momentum forcing me into a tree. The knives struck my side, my shoulder and my neck. Siress withdrew into the shadows, making a dark, teleportation barrier around herself, Teru and Nikassu.
"You'll get it to you someday Sadaviors." She said, as if she were getting weaker." Teru, Nikassu, now."
Teru groaned, knowing that disobeying the overlord was worse than death itself. He turned and disappeared in the barrier.
"Nikassu. Now." Siress instructed.
Meanwhile, I lay on the ground, loking as if I were knocked out, and Myou had pulled all the knives out of me.
"Ryuujin, come on I know you aren't dead, it takes a hell of alot more than that to kill you." She said in a concerend tone.
Since the aura was gone, everyone was free to move again. I was still in my Zensoku form, but I felt different. Everything went dark in my head. Myou then examined the blades more carefully, then had a lok of shock on her face.
"Oh no. This isn't good." She commented quietly. "EVeryone get away from Ryuujin now!"
Myou picked up Etozin, and looked at his wound, while looking at me the next second. I a few moments, Etozin was healed with the human's low level, but well done healing nagic that she had learned from Opal, the Elven nurse that works in the Rebellion, and is one of the nurses at the High School.
I may be wrong, Myou thought. But those were the same runes the last time Siress tried to do this. Except it was directed at me this time. I really hope it doesn't happen, but, thats a thing I highly doubt.

Thank you much, Etozin told Myou. She was obviously very skilled in magic, and he appreciated the healing. At the same time, though, it lessened his dignity as a phoenix. Having to be healed by another being--it was a huge impact on his self-esteem.
May I ask why we must not approach Ryuujin? Etozin asked Myou, inclining his head to one side and cooing at her.

OOC: Okay, the bad guys part first, then back to Ryuujin and her condition.
IC: Siress had taken them back to the BL HQ. It was in a dark, dank basement that they had arrived in, Siress not looking all too pleased, Teru, turning back into a smaller spider, at least one the size of a dog.
"I'll kill that piece of..." Siress started, then began cursing in her own, vampires language.
"Siress, you know those two I'm assuming?" Teru inquires, as he himself was a fairly new member of the BL.
"Yes." She sneered. "I tortured the one called Ryuujin for many months on end, but then that human came and found her, right before I had the chance to steal Ryuujin's soul from her body during one of her escape tricks."
She stepped down farther into the basement, down a pitch black stairwell.
"Follow Nikassu, Teru, you stay."
He was going to argue, but Siress gave him a death glare.

Back in Stanely Park, Myou let go of Etozin, and didn't stop looking at my motionless body.
"Because of what penetrated Ryuujin's body, by that vampire, she'll..." Myous voice trailed off as I slowly got up like some sort of Zombie.
My eyes were a dark, reddish amber, and they glew uncomfortably. There was a huge gust of wind that prevented everyone from seeing what was happening. Slowly, I began to change into another form. After the wind had receeded, I wasn alot larger than before, and a different being.
"She'll turn into an angered Temna Ryuujin." Myou finished.
My eyes didn't change, they stared right into Myou's, whose eyes didn't falter or blink.
"No one move, or make an noise, and don't look away from her eyes unless you aren't already looking into them. Then don't look at her eyes." Myou instructed, slowly loading a mythril bolt into her crossbow.
When it clicked in, I lunched myself at the group, Myou quickly jumping out of the way, and shooting the bolt into the back of my neck. I roared and lunged at her again. I really can't say it was me, because I had no control over myself. It was my demonic side. My darker side. Myou quickly loaded another shot into her crossbow and fired again. This time it had pierced my chest, and I fell onto the ground. After a minute, I couldn't see anything, and everything went black. I changed back into my half human form, unconscious.
"I hate having to do that to you, but its the only way." Myou said to me as she picked me up and hung me over her shoulder.

She will be ok, though? I could heal her, if that's a problem, not saying you aren't skilled at magic, for you are, truly, but... he stopped in the middle of a sentence, unsure of how human etiquette would tell him to proceed, if at all.

Myou began to walk ahead of everyone back towards where we all came, then stopping, looking at the black night sky. She turned to Riyune who was still in his demon form.
"We need to get back to the HQ, and you need to carry me and Ryuujin."
Riyune scoffed. "Yeah right do I look like a pack horse to you?"
Myou suddenly got very angry and stomped hard on Riyunes head.
"Listen, you did nothing at al to help, so you're going to help now and carry us both there, or I'll collar you and put you on an aqua chain for a month!" She burst out.
"Alright, alright!" Riyune cried. "Just get off my head now!"
Myou did, but glared at Riyune the whole time he let the two of them on.
"Okay, as we, I mean you did the last time, you went through the underground. Well, since its still plenty dark out, we're going by rooftop. Just follow us and you wont get lost. Its alot easier than the underground pass believe me." Myou explained.
