I've found an interesting article on the magic website that can potentially teach you much about making cards. The MAIN thing, however, is to teach you of "elegance" = "simple".

I guess I'll start with why I chose to post this article up:
As a card maker, I've always noticed that there is always a single major problem with rookie card makers; they always try to make such a "cool" card that they neglected the fact that they've placed way too much words into the card or they made it way too powerful. This article might help with the "too much words" problems.
