This pic is just weird... if Latias was on it, I'd understand, but a Latios on a Sapphire box!?

Yeah, I remember that from along time ago, and there was a Ruby one with Latias on it and then about the same time there was another box that had both Pokemon on it (I have that one on my computer somewhere).

Yeah, it's not a real one. =\ Just made up. First clue, Pokemon is rated "E" not "RP" >_>

weren't they supposed to be the old boxs for ruby and sapphire?

They were fakes made a long time ago. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't believe boxart for RS even existed when the 3rd Gen were released (Thus people thought Latios and Latias would be the basis of RS).
Also, Ierdar, RP stands for "Rating Pending", as in there is no current set rating. Back when those things were made, nobody knew if they'd be rated "E", or one of the several other ratings, so... That's why RP was used. If you check boxart images in game magazines, quite a lot of them have RP on them.

Every pokemon game before RS has been E, it's pretty obvious the next one isnt going to be Teen or Mature. =P It's a kid game, so they're not going to make it any higher. =P

Of course, but as time passes, the original fans of the games are getting older. They could easily make the games themselves more mature (I wish). Seriously though... If the games are meant for like 3-8 year olds, then it's just wrong. They probably wouldnt be able to read the games properly unil they're about 6-7 (Don't blame me if this is wrong... I can't remember when I learned to read for the first time O.o). Eh... Most of the fans nowadays, or at least, the fans that are actually good at the game (ie. The ones that use EV training, strategic Teams, etc) are teenage fans. I don't see why GameFreak don't up the maturity level for fans.

I think most of us wish they'd mature the game a bit. The anime too for that matter. But, thing is, they wont. =\

Actually, in Japan, the anime is a lot more mature than 4Kids make it out to be. A friend the other day told me of one episode... The one with Tommy, and the Kangaskhan (1st series). Tommy asked if they were Pokemon or people, after which, Misty hit him. Thing is, in the Japanese version, he was looking at Misty and asked "Are those breasts?", which is the real reason she hit him. I wish 4Kids would'nt edit out such funny comments, but eh... You can always watch the Japanese episodes, subbed if nesseccary.
Not the place to talk about the games/animes matureness though...

Those are either hacks,or someone got bored and decided to make a new box for the game.
No,it is not what the original R/S were gonna be.

HAAAA!!! Thats funny! It reminds me of the time my older bro's friend told us that in the ep were Ash got Muk, he said "Its an adult Muk in its child" but he really said "Its a big Muk". But on the Box art, I'm not sure of who really made them but where I saw them was a now dead site Pokemon Advance. At the time only the Pokemon and game names had been know, so because of there color and the 5th movie I guess ppl thought that Latios was on Sapphire and Latias was on Ruby and when it was know that that info was backwords I got a big suprise and at the last moment had to change my mind on what game I wonted  .

No =\ And again, I'm just going to point out the rating >_>
The rating would've been believable before the R/S rating was passed...that's why it doesn't have the E rating.
