While it was nice to run around in 3-D, I did wish the graphics were better (though SM64 was first wave).

I enjoyed 'GoldenEye 007' dispite the clunky graphics (including blocky hands). 'The World Is Not Enough 007' looked much better and I had alot of fun with that game.

Yeah, i still remember the golden age of the N64, those were some awesome times, when the consoles and games could be afforded by (nearly) everyone.

Those were good times... ^^

I still remember when I got homse from school and there it was in the living room ,waiting for me.

I still have it in my room with about five games. I like the ending themse in Super Mario 64 and beat Bowser when I want to dance to it.

It's amazing how advance Ninntendo has gotten. Did any of us actually thought that we have to stand up to play?

donkey kong 64 was an extremely good and in depth game. get it.

I think it's still one of the longest games out today (for consoles)

I disagree with you. There were times where I about ripped my hair out over parts of the game, only to find out that my character had to learn a move to complete a section. :dazed: Plus, I was highly disappointed with the audio (good grief, 'Star Wars: Rogue Squadron' featured over an hour of audio speech. Would it killed Rare to have Cranky and Funky Kong to talk?).

I enjoyed playing 'Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2'. Loads of fun, but not as fun as 'GoldenEye 007'. Dispite the unpolished graphics, it was still very entertaining. From trying to beat certain criterias to the sometimes wacky unlockable options, 'GoldenEye 007' is a classic in of itself.

That would be nice, but there's a couple of problems:

1) Nintendo hasn't had the James Bond 007 license since 'GoldenEye 007' came out (I believe Activision recently aquired the license).

2) Rare, currently owned by Microsoft, made the game.

Since James Bond isn't the property of Nintendo (like Donkey Kong is), we may have to be content with playing the game on the N64.

I love my n64, I still play it. My faves are Starfox, both Zeldas, Mario 64, SSB, and Tony Hawk 2. I never had Goldeneye, but I played it at my friends house and it was really fun.

Indeed Starfox was the best... every current fox game always fails to relive the height.

'StarFox 64' was a fun game. It was much better than the original game plus it had actual speech. My only problem with it was during the boss levels where you had to destroy a base. I never did too well with them.

You guys talk like N64 is in the past and is forever forgotten, am I the only one who still plays my N64!?

I mean, Pokemon Snap, that was awesome, still is.

Same with all Pokemon games for N64.

Well, the N64 is two generations old, though there are still a handful of people who still play games on their 8-bit NES and that's 4 generations old.

What N64 games are on your hate list, folks? Mine includes:

Star Wars: Episode I - Battle For Naboo (pitifully small number of vehicle choices, unknown characters, cruddy aiming with the S.T.A.P.s, hateful voice actors who keep screaming "Where's my cover!?")

Monopoly (the SNES version was waaaay better than the N64 version)

Donkey Kong 64 (see my previous posts on this thread about why)
