What do think and want to happen after Hoenn is finished? BTW, what season are they in in Japan and what's going on?

Japan is approx. 45 episodes ahead of us. Japan just showed the apparant final confronation of Ash-Team Aqua-Team Magma along with both Kyogre and Groudon. You got to go to Serebii's site to get the details www.serebii.net for I can't describe that confrontation. Sorry to say, Ash didn't get either legend. Ash added a 6th member to his team though, the Snorunt. No pokemon for Max yet. No more Misty appearances.

Ash is about to go up against the Mossdeep Twins! Badge 7.

So would that mean they're at the beggining of season 8 or the end of season 7?

Do you think the recent 2 New Eps every Saturday is a move to try to close the gap between the U.S. and Japan -- episode wise?

Anyway, I think that Ash will go back to Kanto, and then set off either to the Rainbow Islands, as a way to buy more time for Nintendo to launch a new game, or he will go to the Orre Region.

Japan always ends their seasons with movies, so this would be season 8 in Japan since the Rayquaza and Deoxys was after season 7.
I hope they do close the gap with Japan for a lot of fans could be going to Serebii and reading the spoilers, they're probably worried of ratings also.

I've always wondered if Nintendo stumbles onto these Pokémon sites and reads all about them. Like, if they actually take in aspects of some members on a boards hopes/wishes, or if they promote episodes in 2 because of all the complaining on the net, or what.

I wonder if S9 is going to be Hoenn? I doubt that they would go to Orre, because there are not any wild Pokemon, unless they changed it.

Well, if they did, they would really have to drag it out...

I wouldn't doubt that; the animé is infamous for dragging things out for MUCH too long.

After Hoenn, we can assume that it will follow the plots of Diamond/Pearl. But, the games would have to be done for them to do that; I'd think. I wonder if they'll be a lapse between the end of Hoenn and the release date for Pearl/Diamond.

I know that they could still make a new season with the P/D plot, but I doubt that Nintendo would want to do that before the games are released in Japan.
