I was walking on the desert on road 111, and I found that thing...:


I ran away becous i was afraid its a virus.... now i know it was very vety full thing to do.

anyone knowes what is this thins?

It's a hacked ROM. You can edit Pokemon names with a Hex editor, and change Pokemon images using a program called PokePic. Try searching in your Pokedex for Pokemon that should be on that route; my guess is that one of them has been changed into this "Fossil". Also, for ROMs, these kinda problems are common. Some guys idea of a joke really.

It's a hacked ROM. You can edit Pokemon names with a Hex editor, and change Pokemon images using a program called PokePic. Try searching in your Pokedex for Pokemon that should be on that route; my guess is that one of them has been changed into this "Fossil". Also, for ROMs, these kinda problems are common. Some guys idea of a joke really.

Now where can I find those programs?

It'll be alright, poor Kabutops. Don't look at that wretched thing. Though, if that really did happen in a game, I'd be terrified as well.

How can you be sure that it's not hacked if its a ROM you didn't have anything to do with creating?

Talking about ROM's is perfectly fine; asking where to find the aforementioned files, or giving links to them is not. But anyway...

Mango, if you don't want such stupid occurances, buy an actual cartridge of the games. Much easier.
