I've never ennocountered pokerus. I heard it's got a lower chance of getting it than winning the Department Store Lottery's. I'll find it when I find it, and unless I REALLY want to, I won't EV train my Pokemon. I just play for fun.

I agree. I don't EV train, nor do I use strategic moves. I mean, I never link anyway, and in the game it's best to just have strong pokémon.

Demanding it won't get you a answer, but i'm a nice guy, so i'll tell ya.






PokeRUS is a pokemon sickness that rarely happens. When you do get it, it doubles EV's. So if you got two EV's in a battle (which is the only place you can get EV's other than items like protein etc.) you would get four. Using the Macho Brace would double that. So'd you have 8 EV's in total. PokeRUS spreads with your team, but dies in a couple of days. Put an infected Pokemon in a box to preserve PokeRUS.

i have the pokerus, but i didnt realise it until i saw the POKERUS next to my pokemon. i thought it would boost my status as i thought it would. i think my traded groudon once had it, and it grew 10+ in attack after i havent trained it for a while, after one level. and then the next level was 8+. that was shocking!

pokerus is helpful when it comes to gettin high status pokemon. i trained my kingdra against a bunch of voltorb and its speed grew 4+. with pokerus, 5+, with pokerus + macho brace, probably 7+

Next time I restart, I might want to EV train, and use MB, and buy AR to get PokeRUS.

AR is Action Replay for all your cheating needs
MB is Macho Brace to double effort points
Ev is Effort Values, each pokemon has a desired amount of effort valus, no more than 3 points, even shared with other stats.

Pok'rus is an infection that helps you pokemon raises your pokemons stats more instead of when it doesn't have it.You can get pokerus by using a hacked shiny pokemon and saving with him in you party,the disease will spread to all in you party,but after four days it goes away,and the pokemon who had it before can never get infected again.

I have restarted my Sapphire game many times and in two different files I was infected with Pokerus.

Both times I found it on a Pokemon on the route west of Petalburg in the grass, but not the grass just below the woods, the bigger patch just when you come out of Petalburg.

When you get it, definately save it in the PC.

It does wear off though, but when it does, the once infected Pokemon has a little dot beside its name in the summary.
