Do you have a laptop?Mine did this,if you press the turn off button on the outside(put it in hibernation mode)you must restart your computer.

Can I see a screen shot or something? Until you fix it, just press Ctrl + L, I think that does it. :/

I thought what Azumao might work, but apparently it's not. . . :P

Anyways, I looked up the problem, and got an answer. Apparently sometimes the WebBrowser registry, which controls Internet Explorer, can screw up and cause certain things with the program to disappear, including the Location Bar.
Also, you have to have an administrator account to fix it.
Anyways . . .

Start > Run > Type: regedit > And look on the side for the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar . Right Click WebBrowser > Delete > Yes.

Then when you open IE, got to View > Toolbars, and the option for the Address Bar should be restored.

I haven't tested this, so I don't know how well it works, but it is from Microsoft's site, so I'm pretty assured it's legitimate.
