The Colloseum Double Battle Leauge


Yes, you've seem plenty of leauges, tourneys, etc, here in Pe2K, forming around Gym Battles, Elite Four, and a Champion. But here, in the CDBL, we don't go by other rules. Here, all battles for the leauges will be held in double battles only, but other than that, battles will be held with the typical rules, with a few little modifications ^^ Have fun double battling! *NOTE: this is NOT team battle! There are only two trainer is a battle, two Pokemon each

RULES

Rule 1) The following Pokemon are not permitted to be used in the leauge: (Banned List)

Rule 2) You must have the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to join (I don't, so I'm not participating O:)
Rule 3) All battles go as followed:

6 Vs. 6
Double Battle
No Pokemon from the Banned List
All pseudo legendaries and non-legendary ubers permitted
NO ITEMS (Except held)

Rule 4) Everything you use in the leauge must be legit

Gym Leaders/Elite Four/Champion

There is a total of 17 gyms in the leauge, and for each is a certain type. In order to become a Gym Leader, you must register if there's an empty space, and if there isn't, you need to challenge the Gym Leader to a title match for leadership of the gym. All Gym Leader's must have 2 Pokemon in their 6 Pokemon teams that have the same type as your gym type. This will help topple the gym's weaknesess :D

Also, if you want to still want to join a gym, but not as it's leader, and you want to do some major training, then becoming a gym trainer is the thing for you! There is a maximum of 3 Gym Trainers in each Gym, and Gym Trainers can challenge their Leaders for the title of leader. All Gym Trainer Parties must include 6 Pokemon, with at least 1 having a Pokemon with the same type as the gym.

In order to be Elite Four, when we have 17 Gym Leaders, people can immediately register to be an E4. But you can't register to be the Champion. Once the E4 are registered, if you want a title match with the E4, you HAVE to fight the lowest ranking E4 in a 2 out of 3 match. If you win, that E4 is deprived of his/her rank and the winner takes place as the last (4'th E4). And so on, you can continue challenging the E4's and get to the highest rank, and people will challenge you, blah blah blah...

Becoming the champion? Even I'm not sure yet O_o

And all possible gym leader spots for Grass and Steel (The only gyms which you can join) are filled. You can still PM the Gym leaders to be a Gym Trainer, and you can challenge them to a 2 out of 3 title match ^^

Yeah, when a gym leader beat all 16 gyms, they can be E4. Then E4 also battle 2 out of 3 match. The E4 who looses the E4 vs E4 battle gets his possition deprived.

Or if you dont understand that sentence, use this quote:
In order to be Elite Four, when we have 17 Gym Leaders, people can immediately register to be an E4. But you can't register to be the Champion. Once the E4 are registered, if you want a title match with the E4, you HAVE to fight the lowest ranking E4 in a 2 out of 3 match. If you win, that E4 is deprived of his/her rank and the winner takes place as the last (4'th E4). And so on, you can continue challenging the E4's and get to the highest rank, and people will challenge you, blah blah blah...

Gym Leaders/Elite Four/Champion

There is a total of 17 gyms in the leauge, and for each is a certain type. In order to become a Gym Leader, you must register if there's an empty space, and if there isn't, you need to challenge the Gym Leader to a title match for leadership of the gym. All Gym Leader's must have 2 Pokemon in their 6 Pokemon teams that have the same type as your gym type. This will help topple the gym's weaknesess :D

Also, if you want to still want to join a gym, but not as it's leader, and you want to do some major training, then becoming a gym trainer is the thing for you! There is a maximum of 3 Gym Trainers in each Gym, and Gym Trainers can challenge their Leaders for the title of leader. All Gym Trainer Parties must include 6 Pokemon, with at least 1 having a Pokemon with the same type as the gym.
