At school we are using VB6 for Computer Programming, and I want to get my own copy. Does anyone know how much it would roughly cost me?

Ah, VB6 - great programming tool for beginners, if not expensive. VB programs can range from around 70 (Standard), to 1360 (Advanced), so it depends which you want. Personally, I have Visual Basic 6 Enterprise Edition... Here are the prices at Amazon.co.uk:

Visual Basic 6.0 Learning Edition: 148
Visual Basic 6.0: 450
Visual Basic 6.0 Proffessional: 550

You can either fork over your Christmas money to get it, or you can, um... Ask someone for it; but I'm not going into any detail as it's against the forum rules.

I received Visual Basic .NET from Microsoft for free by reviewing some lame MSDN videos. Whee, Microsoft gave me 700 dollar+ software FREE! *score*

So, keep an eye out for that kinda stuff, heheh.
