The Hunt of Shinies

[Jessu]

A long time ago, shiny Pokemon thrived everywhere. Until one day, when hunters started hunting them for their fur and skin. Shiny Pokemon were prized throughout the world, so hunters hunted them. Some were unfortunate, some survived. The shiny Pokemon are now almost extinct. Some trainers took a step up to help the survival of the shinies.

Now, you must play as a hunter, trainer, or Shiny Pokemon.

Ya know, this would be a good time for us pokemon to post our intro stories if we want, so just gimme a minute or two to think of mine.

[Sephiroth]

Several officer jenny, along with some other police force members were gathering near a lake, armed and ready to take out the menace that had been keeping people away from this lake, and the moment they actually came in view of the lake, deep down there was a disturbance, and in a great splash, I surfaced and screamed "GYARAAAA! GYAAARAAAAADOSSS!" and on the pokecoms, (a new device that is a mix of pokenav/gear with an equipped pokemon translator) they heard "This is my lake! MINE!!"

[Sephiroth]

I actually flew out of the water, and began spinning and curving, in what looked like an intracite dance, the police were watching, until one of them realized "It's dragon dance! RUN!" but it was too late, I crashed down on the ground with amazing speed and strength in an earthquake attack, and was about do go after them one by one, until they ran in the oposite direction of the water. Having defended my lake, I slowly sank back down into the depths...

Chari flew around in her territory at night. She enjoyed it here. Then, out of nowhere, 10 hunters come and surround me. Followed by 10 helicopters, 10 tanks, 10 warplanes, gees, talk about surrounded. Then Chari unleashes a powerful blast of fire and destroys the 10 everything but people. They pionted guns at her, but Chari used Xtremespeed and flew off to the Great Lake.

OOC: GOLLY! That was a harrassment! BTW, I'm where you are Sephiroth.

OOC: When talking to a pokemon, Text will be red, but since trainers/hunters will have pokecom, it will make no difference I guess.

I saw the charizard land right at the water's edge, and begin to drink, it looked like it had been through a lot, and I hated humans, I just never found any pokemon I liked before. So instead of attacking, I surfaced, and said "You're not a human, so I'll give you the benifit of the doubt, what are you doing in my lake?"

[Jessu]

Chari looked up at the giant creature. Well, I just had to escape from 40 hunters way back there. Chari said.

Description: Long blonde hair, green eyes. Wears a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
History: Mina ran away from home to start a Pokemon quest. Her parents wanted her to be a nurse. She became a trainer because she loves Shiney Pokemon.
Personality: Stubborn. She rarely changes her mind and can be very caring. Easy to anger.

OOC: I used red text becase well, I'm a red gyarados, but if you wanna do the same thing sure, since black is the default color.

"Humans?!" I growled "Well, if they come here to my lake, they'll be in for a suprise." I said, my eyes gleaming with hatred.

Jenny walked along a path, carrying a heavy backpack filled with supplies for her journey. She decided it was about time for a rest so she set down her things.

Suddenly, she heard very loud noises coming from the sky. She looked up and saw red and white lights passing over her head quickly. She peered through the darkness until she could make out quite a few helicopters.

"Hm, what could they want?" she wondered.

She noticed they were headed for the giant lake up ahead, but they seemed distracted. Since she sensed there was trouble about, she grabbed her things and followed them towards the lake.

After a couple minutes of jogging, she arrived at the lake. She decided it would be best to try and keep quiet because she thought she could hear soft noises.

"GYRADOS!"

At this, she jumped and crouched down. She hid behind a bush and looked toward the fierce sound. She spotted two creatures. One was reddish and in the water and the other she could hardly see because it was so dark in color.

She looked toward the sky as she saw the helicopters coming closer...

[Jessu]

Chari spotted helicopters and blew a powerful blast of fire at them, but it turned out they were fireproof.

[silverfrost]

Now it clicked in Jenny's mind. These people were trying to hurt those pokemon.

The helicopter wasn't affected by the creature's fire attack, and seemed to keep advancing toward it.

"NO!" Jenny ran toward the two pokemon. "Don't hurt them!"

Just then, she realized she'd made a mistake in going near them.

The black and red creatures turned to look at her angrily.

[Jessu]

Then, about 10 helicopters, 10 tanks, 10 people, and 10 warplanes came and surrounded the Pokemon and Jenny. Chari flew up in the air, and headbutted the warplanes. It made a dent, a real BIG dent. Then Chari killed the motor. She did that with the rest of the planes.

[Sephiroth]

The people in the planes jumped out into the lake, which turned out to be their biggest mistake, and their last, Gyarados were known to eat humans. I had a nice meal out of the jumpers, then turned towards the helicopters, and began lashing out with my tail and pulling them down underwater to feed on the people in those too.

[silverfrost]

Jenny thought about running away from all this destruction, but only for a moment. She knew these two pokemon were strong, but perhaps they needed some help. Reaching for her belt, she grabbed a pokeball and tossed out in front of her.

"Go, Sneasel!"

A fierce black pokemon with razorsharp claws stood in front of her, waiting for its command.

"Now, try and freeze those helicopters with a powerful ice beam!"

Sneasel did as it was told, and shot a huge blast of blue and white mist at one of the helicopters until it solidified over it. Unable to stay suspended in the air any longer, the helicopter fell to the ground.

"Yeah! One down, a lot to go..." Jenny said with doubt in her voice.

[Jessu]

Chari made all the warplanes go down into the lake so the Gyarados can feed on the humans. She opened the tanks and roasted the people inside and dragged them to the edge of the lake. After he finished feasting, and I finished getting rid of the automobiles, we looked at the human still standing.

Seeing that the two mysterious pokemon were handling the situation, Jenny recalled her Sneasel. However, now she was terrified. She saw what they did to the other humans, and although they deserved it, she now feared for her life. She slowly started to back up, not knowing what they might do next.

[Sephiroth]

I saw a girl backing off, and I thought she might call even more humans, and my stomach couldn't hold much more, so I whipped out my tail, and held her above the water, when something told me that I shouldn't hurt her. so I said to her "Gyaaa, Gyaarado." and her pokecom said "Stay here, don't run, and you won't be harmed."

[Jessu]

Chari's tail revealed part of her coat and the Gyarados's. The light of the full moon helped too. Chari looked at the Red Gyarados holding the girl, but not eating her like most Gyarados do.

[Sephiroth]

As I looked at the girl, a wave of memories hit me, this was the girl who released me into the wild when my trainer was just going to flush me down the toilet! I had almost forgotten about it...

"It's a worthless pokemon, there's no point in it even living!" A boy with brown hair was yellling.
"Just because it's not powerful doesn't mean you should kill it!" a little girl with the same color of hair cried.

"Yeah? Well you're still young and don't know anything about being a good pokemon trainer, leave this to the grown-ups." he said, as he walked towards the toilet with a fishbowl in his hands. Then, The girl pushed the boy, knocking him down, but before he fell, she took the fishbowl and ran...

I set the girl down on dry land at the edge of the lake, and lie down flat in the shallows, a sign of submission.

OOC: I hope you don't mind me doing that, if you don't like it, tell me, and I'll delete this post, but I thought it would add more to the story, and if you don't mind, this would be a good time to recognize me.

Chari looked up at the moon. She wondered how her old trainer was. Her old trainer had to give her up because he thought she was worthless. She was interrupted by an explosion not too far from here. Chari flew up and spotted a shiny Pokemon getting killed. She flew over there as fast as she could. She landed on the ground and roared. Charizard zard charizard CHARIZARD! She said in PokeLanguage, but his com said "Leave that Shiny Ponyta ALONE!" "Oh, another shiny here huh?" He said, looking at his Ponyta that he just caught with barbwire. "NIEGH!!!!" Chari understood, but remembered him somehow. She changed from her angry mood to her curious mood. Chari shook her head and growled.

Jenny lay there where the gyrados had set her down. She was weak from fear and from being held somewhat tightly by the pokemon. She turned her head to see more hunters taunting a shiney Ponyta.

"No..." she tried to yell, but trailed off. She attempted to lift her body off the ground, but she was far too tired. So she watched in horror as Chari tried to fend off the evil men.

Salamandra was flying all over the world enjoying the pretty scenery. Then something caught his eye. Workers were destroying the peaceful land and building it into a Parking Lot. "Evil wretches" thought Salamandra. He had to do something to save those pokemon that were having thier homes stolen. He scooped them all up and brought them to a new village.

[Jessu]

Chari blew fire at the hunter and he was burnt to a crisp. He was still alive though, but Chari threw him far away into a city. The Ponyta whined as it wanted to get out of its cage. It was tired, because the cage was a shock cage. Chari motioned for the Ponyta to move out of the way. It moved and Chari blew fire at the middle of the cage. It melted, and the half fell on the ground. The Ponyta leaped out of the cage and landed on the ground. It's leg hurt really bad and the Ponyta bent it.

Weird Salamandra wondered after rescuing all those pokemon. A trainer just barely died. He could sense it. What's going on I like to give humans as much pain as possible. Hey whoever you are don't leave me out on the fun!

[Jessu]

Chari went over to the injured Ponyta. She knew exactly where Ponytas lived, and she picked up the injured shiny Ponyta, and flew off with it.

It was a while since Chari took off, and she spotted the heard of Ponyta and Rapidash. She landed right beside it's mother, who was worried about her baby. The whole heard was sleeping, and Chari quietly put the Ponyta on the ground, and she curled up by her mother. Chari took off, back to her territory, to sleep in her cave where no one would see her during the day. She hid her fire from the opening, and the sun was rising, it was morning.

OOC sorry all, I was grounded for a long time, and I've missed to much to continue with my character, but later, I will probbably rejoin with a new character.

History: A hunted red gyarados passed away in a battle with humans, and became a gengar, yet he still is shiny, only now he is a black gengar rather than the normal purple. He is still bitter towards humans, but will usually put up with other pokemon
