Has anyone in Pokemon Emerald tried cloning 99 rare candies and giving them to a pokemon to get it to level 100 so that you won't have to train it and have an instantly strong Pokemon?

Yes, I did, and there stats suck then, with no Ev's.

Yes I didn't EV train first so they sucked miserably.
