All I know is that more Unown = more of the cave unlocked.

Im pretty sure that you have to spell certain words. Go on to www.serebii.net and explore to find out. ( Its a great website )

ya im wondering the same .. i only see small 3-5 step long cave, and an item north

I think less than 10 different Unown gets you a small bit, 10 or more different give you a larger bit and all 26 of the Unown get you the whole thing... I think

i have alot of unkwns and the cave is veryyy long but i wonder wut happens wen u get them all

I got one unkown and i unlocked like 5 steps forward so its probably not a range but some per unkkown

Hippopotas can only be obtained here, right?

Yes, but Hippodow can be caught elsewhere

I think you have to get the whole alphabet

The only time I checked was when I caught the "F" unknown so I wouldn't know.

If it's true, then I suspect mine is pretty long since I only need "B", "J", and "S" to complete the alphabet.
