Finding Jirachi

My friend told me that you may get Jirachi in Mossdepp. I told him it is not true, but then he answered:
"And what about the white rock for wishes and the girl next to it who says that she uses wish tags? Jirachi makes wishes come true and has 3 wish tags on its head."
He had a point, so do you think that the white stone, the girl, or the space center may help you find Jirachi in Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald? Are those rumours true?

i havent heard about getting jirachi in space but i have heard that once you get 4 or 5 stars on your trainer card and you go back to the man at the window in the space center he will send you up in a rocket to space and there you catch deoxys

remember in the space station a man said how many times the rocket flew to space? i heard that if the number is over 56 u can get deoxys if its over 100 you can go to the moon and get jirachi. i wonder if its true. the number on mine is still 48

The number is only how many weeks you have played your game, it will not get you Deoxys.

Theres no "secret" way in the games to catch any event pokemon EXCEPT for that glitch in R/B with Mew. Events/Bonus Disks/Games/Cheats are the only way I believe.

Yeah like I got my Jirachi from the Colloseum bonus disc.

It is known that you can't get Jirachi from the space center. I realized that nobody is sure about it, that thing is a rumor, and noone has got any pokemon in the space center as of yet. Jirachi can only be obtained by events/cheats/colessium disc. There is no glitch that will get it to you also.

To get Deoxys also you don't goto the space center, Nintendo gives you a ticket in the game after an event or such, that ticket takes you to Birth Island from Lillycove, and you have to solve the puzzle to get Deoxys.
