My Avatar

I know, it sucks! I'm new to graphic making and all I have is an MS Paint program. Any ideas on how I could make it look better?

Well, as a Paint user, I know your pain. Very hard to make paint avatars look decent.

First, no solid color in the background. Make it look fancy. Something like the background of my avatar, which I got from a piece of artwork at deviantart.com. Basically, Solid background things are a bore.

Second, more interesting font. Arial is very boring.

These two things are usually very useful.

Here is something I whipped up in about 5 minutes using paint, basically the same as yours, just looking slightly fancier.

Thanks, DC! I just can't make those backgrounds and all the fonts I have are boring. There's one thats cursive, but I don't know how exciting that is...

But keep it up. Paint can be really awesome when you know how to use it.

How do you make the letters you put on the ava?

Download fonts. Search for them on search engines, I'm too lazy to supply links.

Also those backgrounds... Well, you can always use a premade one, ask permission from original creator and use it, I guess. Or you could just buy Adobe Photoshop >>
