*Hides cake*. Sorry to hear that. I faint really easily, and that's if I'm full. I faint if I hear what actually happens in puberty. I also have allergies which were supposed to end in June.

I have Diabetes type 1 as well. Had it since I was 2 years old, so I don't know better.
Also, I don't have any problem with eating. You just have to find the right balance between the carbohydrates you take in, and the insulin you take. When you've got that, you can eat the whole world.

Allergies beyond belief. When the allergy doctor did the scratching test for antihistamine, he told me I reacted so strongly and quickly that I should be in science books. Is that a complement? I don't know. :/

I have the pump and i got it when i was only 10 ( The diabetes). It was in April which is a cursed month for me since i had illnesses and surgerys. I'm so happy to know someone else has Type 1. I mean people with type 2 i bet are already getting cured. The wierd thing is my Blood sugars have been low latley. Like one time i had choclate almonds and i tested and it was 75. About 5-8 minutes later it was 57 then 2 min later 52!!!! It sucked a lot but i really don't know why but i haven't even given myself a lot of insulin.

Yeah, I have the pump as well. I find it pretty convenient. Except I do get ugly (temporary) scars from it. I used to put the catheters in my thighs, then when the scars made them look too ugly I changed to my abdomen. When my thighs looked better and my abdomen started to be ugly, I switched back to my thighs again.

I feel sorry for you and Plusle and Minun... I know someone that has type 2 diabetes, but isn't type 1 uncurable?
The only illness I have (It might not count as an illness) is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) but I'm not quite sure it counts as an illness.

I'm allergic to just about everything that pops up during the summer, which is why I'm here frequently. :susp:
I can't go outside without sneezing to death or sniffling like crazy. I've also been getting more nosebleeds since the season has started, which I'm pretty sure has something to do with them.

Nothing serious, just migraines (I'm sure I've said this before). Still not entirely sure what triggers it; could be a multitude of things. Bright lights, chocolate, cheese, etc. Your guess is as good as mine
Edit: Since everyone seems to be dieing of allergies, I'd just like to announce that hay-fever hasn't struck me this year. At all.

Well i seem to be allergic to the adhesive so i got bumps and i also use a numbing agent so it dosen't hurt. Have you ever tried that before?
DratiniLover: Yes Type 1 is uncurable, i was only talking about type 2 which you can have gastrobypass surgery to help if you can't lose weight. They get to produce insulin but their body rejects it. Type 1 is where you do not produce any insulin at all so you need to take shots or have an alternative the pump which i and Loyal Arcanine have which helps a lot and we only have to have or shot or change the site once every 3 days.

Yep, he's spot on.

Hm no, I don't seem to be allergic to the adhesive (though I'm to a lot of other things ranging from cats and dogs to fruit). I do get bumps sometimes though, because I don't do a new one in time so that an inflammatory process starts. :x
I've never used a numbing agent. As I said I got it when I was 2 years old, so I have been injecting myself (or getting injections in the early stages) practically all my life. You get used to that, so I don't really feel the pain.

I'm one of the extremely lucky people who aren't allergic to anything, and don't have any diseases.
I think my parents have medical problems that they're hiding though. At night my mom takes, like, 4 pills, and I ask her what's wrong. She replies by "it's nothing." :susp:

My stomach is very sensitive to everything (Except food). So it hurts ocassionally so i use the numbing agent. If i don't use it it would really hurt my stomach so i have to be very careful. But the thing i hate about the site is say when i used to do gymnastics it would be close to coming off. Also swimming can make it come off very easily. Rock Climbing is also hard because the rope. would pull it off

I also have Type 1 Diabetes. I take insulin shots for it, but I'm also looking into getting the pump. I was actually just diagnosed in May, and apparently, my sugar levels were through the roof for a very long time. I was constantly tired and thirsty and my vision changed drastically, so... that explained it well. It was pretty devastating when I found out, but I've changed my life (eating habits, at least) for the better. Everything is close to being under control lately, so that's certainly a relief.

I have bad allergies. Sorry to hear that PM and LA. My grandfather has diabeteas, I just don't know if it's type 1 or 2. I'll ask him tommorow. I'm also allergic to whole tommatoes, I break out in hives, but if I eat like Pizza and Spagetti[SP?], I get only a minor cough, for about an hour.

I am allergic to one thing, it's a special dentist tablet.
Basically, you put the tablet if your mouth, swill it around and the colouring goes from the tablet onto the parts of your mouth which you miss when brushing.
It's supposedly impossible to be allergic to (even my brace dentist said this), well, I proved them wrong didn't I? =P

I'm lucky that I don't have any allergies (at least I don't think so).
Sometimes I get these coughing spasms if something strong is in my mouth. Once, when my friend and I were in the local librairy for a school report, she gave me a mint but a few minutes after it was in my mouth, I started coughing like crazy. Very embrassing if you're in a such a quiet place.
I always have very dry lips most of the time. No matter if I put chapstick on or if recently drank something, they are still extremely dry.

Oh boy... where do I start?
My father's side of the family all has stomach/digestive tract problems. I have been diagnosed with everything from acid reflux to lactose intolerance to ulcers, and I had my gall bladder removed in December. I am envious of anyone who eats fat, as I can't digest it well anymore. I'm like a litmus test for fat; if I'm in crippling pain after I eat it, it has a high fat content.
My mother's side of the family all has health problems and severe allergies to everything but medicine. I just get really irritated sinuses that drain into my already irritated stomach. :dazed: My brother is severely, severely, severely allergic to dustmites, and we have to wash our bedsheets every week. Also, my mom's family has a history of heart problems, so I need to watch what I eat. Fast food now = salad, no dressing (fat), no cheese (lactose), no tomatoes (reflux. Yes, that renders it a pile of lettuce).
My father's side also has severe knee problems, and both of my knees are disfuntioning. One will probably need surgery.
My sympathies to those of you with diabetes. My younger cousin was diagnosed right after her 13th birthday. Type 1.
Er... I'm sorry. I complain a lot.

Well, I was diagnosed in the Eighth Grade.
Basically, I didn't know I had it.
And I had symptoms of a cold.
And I felt really dehydrated.
So I kept drinking Gatorades.
And one night, I just collapsed.
I woke up feeling happy in the hospital bed.
xD But yes, it'll be three years this October.
And no, I don't have the insulin pump.
I'm a bit scared to see how that functions. xD

Nah, don't be.
It's easy to manage.
And plus, they are currently in the works of creating an inhaler.

And my mother's friend's husband has one.
It's only available for adults at the time.

Oh man, I so know how that is. The thirst was totally the worst problem for me. No matter how much water I drank (and it was gallons and gallons per day XD), I could never satisfy my thirst. The worst part was, since I didn't know I had it, I would sometimes drink soda to fix the problem. XP Little did I know that was only making it worse.

Oh i was worse i had a glass of high carb juice. So i now have it all under control and people don't feel bad for us, we are fine with it and contiue to live life normally. Anyways the thing i hate about changing sites for the pump is sometimes i bleed and i just have a meltdown which just makes it worse for me. So that's why i use a numbing agent and you could never feel the pain.

My friend Silverfrost has my illness too?
(This is Aleyquala btw).
Yeah, I was making mine worse too.
My mom would buy like six-pack Gatorades.
I'd drink them all in about one hour.
I think my blood sugar level was over 1000.
When I went in.
They said the only reason I might have not went into a coma.
Was because I had a strong body. I used to work out for track.
Now I'll all skinny and lean and can slide through doors and stuff.
