Good team to beat elite four?

oh i thought u had already read my post on your moveset question.

I think you need more variations. Alakazam and Metagross both being psychic i think is wasting a spot on your team. pick one and fill the other spot with something else (maybe electric type).

plus i found sceptile a little underused in the E4 challenge. that was my team tho so maybe you will use him more than i.

How about groudon? im about to caught one

Groudon is a powerful monster for sure and can have a good moveset as well. for instance his ability heightens the intesity of the sun immediatly once he is entered into battle just like SUNNY DAY. and he can be taught/learns naturally SOLARBEAM. so youre SCEPTILE's would really be unecessary

Basically he could help alot, first time i beat the E4 he was in my team and i used him as a last resource (basically he was my muscle when needed)

I have a sapphire game wich has a ton of good pokemon on it i beat the E4 like 50 times with only a level 57 kyogre heheh so i traded kyogre onto emerald hehehe i cheated on the enitire game hehehehe

Then i found that Rayquaza, in Emerald, is accessible before them. An hour later, and my "Championship" lineup is:

Manectric---------------> all below level 25.

and thats how I beat the Elite Four. Don't ask me how. I have no clue. :oops:
But now, after catching every other legendary beside Regice, it takes me about 30 minutes to plow through them all and restart the game, making powerleveling a breeze for the Dream Team in my Sig.

if I pulled it off, than you, with your advanced party and all 3 starters, should have no problem.

Lol ever heard of leveling up pokemon... u had a spheal and tailow how come u did just level them up? and befor ethe elite four in the victory road u should of just caught some level 40s there or go to the one tower where u first see raquaza

1- well, I was... insistant on having my first playthrough be done with my favorites at the time.
2- who levels up their pokemon anyway? :wink: besides, i had the long green one on my side.
3- I do still need to catch a Banette...

Oh, and the Spheal and Swellow are both leveled up now. Taillow is level 30! Haha...well, he was what you'd call a Fly HM slave. Sealeo is well down the Walrein path, and I intend to use him often in the future, as visible, once again, in my Sig.

i would say drop the metagross or alakazam cause that leaves ur party vunerable then throw in some other guy such as a steel or electric depending on who u drop and if u use groudon drop sceptile and metagross and use a plain type or something

i had a sceptile in my team when i beat the elite four i had two main poke's sceptile and mightyana but then i went looking for something to do and caught a trapinch and that pawned the e4 did it 1st time...with a few revives and potions of course but still did it none the less

so my advice to you is flygon as i pwns in everything and is a big help with drake as its dragon aswell as knowing dark moves

I'd say get an electric type. Magneton or Manectric would be good- heck, I used a Minun. But you really need one, especially for Glacia and Wallace. I also suggest taking out all Kingdras with your Rayquaza. Kingdra learns hardly any Dragon moves, and those that it does learn are bad.

You also might consider switching out your Alakazam with a Flygon. As James Gotex said, its dark moves are useful, especially while against What's-her-name. (The Ghost trainer.) Just watch out for the Dusclops with Ice Beam, it'll KO you before you can say 'what the hey?'

I beat the E4 with ease, so if you'd like to see my team, here it was.

Ya just beat the E4!!!!! :D :D i had one of my pokemon die it was sceptile one of my strongest lol he died after i used lef blade on wailord then wailord used blizzard >.>! hehehe but i won but should i say red or blue???
