Does anyone have any suggestions for an electric pokemon I'm going to be using in Emerald? I've considered Pikachu (Already have an egg ready) but now that I've learned I can make a magnemite egg, I am leaning towards him, what with the great defense and all the resistenses. What are your suggestions? :happy:

I saw u breed a pikachu with a light all to get a ichu with volt tackle then evolv it to pikachu

Nice Avatar :crackup: You must like Ampharos. I guess I will, I trained him in crystal, and he turned out 4 levels higher than the rest of my team.

How do you get a light ball?

in safari zone where u catch pikachu it is a wild hold item on them if i was u i would have a pokemon who ability is Spark and go walk around and pikachu will be more common and it is a 5% cance that it will have a light ball

Nice, I'll try that. Volt tackle is well worth it :happy: Mmmm. If I find a light ball, I'll toss a coin to decide between pikachu and mareep. (I like to decide by flipping coins, makes me feel evil) Pikachu just doesn't satisfy me with its sucky defense. But he's cool as Hell.

A good move set is Volt tackle (for big guys like walrein or some big tanks) T-bolt Subsitution and forcus punch

There were a lot of discussions involving electric types today, and well, he's my favorite pokemon... so I shamelessly plugged him a lot. it's my first day on the forums, so I'm just trying out the icon. probably will keep it though :rolleyes:

I think of it as the "Pikachu of GSE," :wink:

Good stats all around, one of the higher echelon electrics. But, weirdly, its speed is low. Weird since electrics generally all have high speed. Its move pool is still too constrictive also, even after the new ones that came with Gen III an IV. I was looking forward to those, too...

oh well... volt tackle, I know it's powerfull, but raichu's base HP is 60 and pikachu's 35... come on, if used on walrein it will surelly KO u too, so IMO pikachu/raichu's volt tackle SUX

I'm a gree with "The Jr Trainer" ur best choice it's magneton

I thought hell was as hot as Rumplestiltskin on fire trying to get the friggin baby for joint custody but ended up get shot at by Evil Lincoln.

i say manectric
i battled one of my friends and their manectric kicked like 3 of my pokemons asses suprisingly
ampharos is a pretty dumb pokemon
pikachu/raichu can easily be taken out with one hit
manectric can at least take a hit without dying
so that should be the way you go
i usually dont ever use an electric type tho
i just have a gardevoir with thunderbolt and it works pretty good for me
