Let's say I hatch a pokemon, put exp. share on it, and run to the Elite Four.
In 5 battles, it levels up to 33, evolving 2 times.
Can this have a negative impact on anything, particularly stats?

i read somwhere that it is a bad thing to do though it is helpful. the best way to train up a weak poke is to battle wild pokemon its strong agents near the beginning of the game and it does not raise the stats as high as it would normally

I think it's only bad if you want to EV train the Pokemon...

I believe that the power-leveled Pokémon would have low stats for its level.
I can say that because they level up so fast, not getting enough EVs.
But they can catch up eventually when they get a lot of EVs.
But if you want to EV train, the Elite4 is a bad place to go leveling up. (credit to Cune)

Well, that makes sense, wish the pokemon at victory road were a little more varied, Golbats are annoying
