Best Pokemon To Begin With

As it says in the name what woud you say is the best pokemon to starty off wiht...I started with Treeko last time and that was pretty helpful but what about the others...

Also what do you believe to be the best pokemon in the game. Ibelieve it to be Flygon i Had it and uit was amazing basically toko on the wjole e4 by itself. Iwas so proud

I believe Scizor is teh best Pokémon in the game because it's red(i luve red). LOL. And it's cool.

As for the best pokemon...Tyranitar! He'll just stomp the ground, causing an earthquake, you'll fall, he'll spin and whack you with his tail, you'll go flying, and when you're up in the air, he'll blast you with a hyper beam. :crackup: Scizor's pretty cool too.

I also said this in the FR/LG thread of this and here is what I said:

It depends on what your rival chooses May or Brendan usually pick on your starter's weakness. Sceptile can be dangerou becauce Scepile can easily knock out Swameprt because it has 4x weakness to Grass attacks. As far as I know people often choose the fire starter: Charmander, Cydaquil, and Torchic. This can turn out to be a big argument. Usually I go with how the Pokemon looks in cuteness as a basic and coolness in its last form.

To me the coolest Hoenn Pokemon is Salamence and the coolest starter is Swampert.

Mudkip is best starter he helps me catch a bunch a legends and he is good at defense. 1 last thing he grows really fast the fastest of all the starters in R/S/E

And not to mention Swampert's unbelieveble HP (Max. 404!) the highest starter HP in any game (even Diamond and Pearl). Torterra is second.

all the starters do equally well in game. i usually avoid the water starters because there are already so many water types. i also stay away from grass just because i don't like grass types too much.

and the best pokemon. well there is also no best pokemon as no one pokemon can kill every other pokemon in the game.

Just keep it away from grass STABs and you should be fine.
