I just started watching it recently, and I think it's an awesome series.

I'm a huge fan as well. I don't see too much a difference between anime and manga since the anime follows the mangas story arc completely. (With the exception that the anime must be 30mins long so the extend stuff like battles and conversations and may add a few of either to fill time.) Seen up to ep 104 and awaiting the manga to run again.

I've seen the first 13 episodes so far, up to the part where Naruto helps out Sasuke against Haku (Haku is soo strange...is he supposed to be gay, or just really odd?)

I think Haku dresses like a girl from time to time to avoid Anbu since he and Zabuza are wanted nins in their village.

(Most rumors online say that Haku is a girl and says he's a girl for a few reasons. Don't belive them though...)

He's not...he says to Naruto in the woods when he finds him training, after Naruto refers to him as "ne-chan" (lady), as he's walking away, "Oh, and, by the way, I'm a boy."

I remember that issue. Haku is probaly the strangest charcter yet, next to the wierd toungue/snake lady from the Exams. (I'm following the Shonen Jump thing, and we're on Chapter 52!)

Haku was so so wierd, more girl than some girls i know yet a boy?!?!?! Naruto is the best anime i have ever seen i only follow the anime dont like the manga much the battles are boring and there isnt as much emotion in the manga. I have seen all 118 episodes and cant wait for episode 119, its getting so so interesting at the moment.

Nara Shikamaru, and Aburame Shino are my favorite characters.

I Love Naruto and I'm up to episode 75!

Animes that I prefer are Samurai Deeper and Love Hina!

P.S. - Some people (mainly girls) might find Love Hina offensive.
I also can't wait for the Naruto Movie to come out!! :biggrin:

As for Yu-Gi-Oh...

The first saga was Duelist Kingdom, which sucked...
The last saga was the Pharaoh's Memory saga, which was completely different, and sucked apart from three duels, one between Yami Bakura and Seto Kaiba, one between Atem and Yami Bakura, and one between Atem and Yugi, :P

The best sagas are everything between those two, :P

I've seen about 15 or so random episodes of Naruto at KoL's house, and I REALLY like what I've seen so far, would love to see all of them in order, but my computer would probably take about two or three straight days to download one episode, seriously...

Episode 120 out today!!! If you ever thought that Naruto could get 500% better then you were wrong! The major plot is unfolding, I hope... There are 3 battles going on at the same time in this episode. Naruto is in a LOT of trouble!!!

Yeah, they were ok I liked the Waterfall Village special more. It was hilarious when Naruto tried (and failed) to swing from the vine.

I read chapter 245 I think it was...The start of Part two more or less, I'm liking it a lot better already then I ever did part one. Sakura looks...more mature ^^; I've also noticed Naruto himself didn't actually change much, kinda sucks as I was wanting to see him have matured at least some in the least three years.

If you saw last week's episode, than you saw that Lee DOES show up in the next episode. It should be good...Naruto would've gotten his ass kicked by that guy who uses one of his bones as a katana.

BTW, I can't wait until the Naruto movie is fansubbed...which means we have to wait for the Japanese DVD release, which hasn't been announced yet *sigh* You'd think think it'd be out already, the movie premiered in theatres in Japan last August.

The anime is getting so very interesting right now. Naruto may not have changed in looks but the way he acts has definatly changed a LOT!!! The movie is out in Japan end of April and should be up buy the start of May. Yey, something to look forward to other than exams.

That's good news; I can't wait. I'm sure a fansub will be out within a week of the DVD release. :P

(UPDATE) Naruto News:

-The third OST for Naruto will be out sometime this spring.

-The second movie will hit theaters in Japan this summer.



Let's just hope the DVD release is quicker for the 2nd movie that its bene for the first one -_-

Well it's technically illegal now, since Naruto was licensed by ShoPro, but there a few sources out there. I'd never suggest any P2P software, or narutofan.com though, as KOL just pointed out. :tongue:

Just recently started on the series, I'm at like...I dunno, somewhere in the 10-20 range right now, nowhere near through the massive amount of downloads I have piled up, but it's already one of the most kickass animé I've seen to date.

Just getting the movie now actually; don't anyone tell me what happens or I'll kill you. Just out of curiosity though, when in the series does it take place? I don't want to watch it too early, or too late, or whatever.

I'd also love to have a conversation with those who have already watched up until a certain point, just for like thoughts, and predictions and such. Dunno if that should be a seperate thread or not, but it's almost 5 in the morning so that could be a horrible idea tomorrow.

Anyways, recommend the series greatly. It's also helping me with my Japanese. :cool:

As for the movie, it takes place after the Chuunin Exams end, and after Naruto finishes his training with Jiraya... As for what episode you should watch for it to fit in, I'd say at least 80-90. If you understand the next phrase, than don't worry: [after Naruto masters the Rasengan] If not, than its too early.
