Yeah. The announcer dude is hilarious. Trick Room made me laugh. Inside joke, though. Not that the guy is right when he's all on about turning the tide of battle when the enemy, who used it, was going first.

I miss the old pokemon Stadium announcer with his taunts and just overall coolness compared to this loser.

I was playing the game the other day and this is what happened in the 1st round in a double battle

my gabite misses due to fog
my monferno misses do to fog
the other guy starts charging
the last guy raises a stat

Announcer: This battle is really heating up!!!!!!

Me: "Dude, you got issues if you think this is heating up" I was angry, cause i challenged this 1 place many times and just couldnt beat it. :tongue:

"SINGED BY SOLAR BEAM!!!" Uh, I didn't think Solarbeam had to do with fire, really.

When you think about it, the announcer could've had more lines (preferably several for each attack/battle conditions,) but I guess they put more focus on everything except straining the only voice actor in the game.

Then there's "RRRRRRIPPED BY ROAR OF TIIIIIIME!!!" You all have no idea how many times I've heard that one over Wi-Fi.

In any case, I enjoy this guy. The first day or two, though, I had him off... but then my siblings turned him back on unexpectedly, so I don't bother anymore. He can be quite a relief at times, and helps out if you don't know whether a move took out an opponent ("Seared by Solar Beam", "Singed by Flamethrower", "Ice Beam hits!", etc.).

But my personal favorite...

don't get the game, it is fun and all but not worth $50 (they didn't even bother putting back mini-games from the Pokemon Stadium series)

Well then I probably misheard, since my hearing must be messed up or whatever (too much "Headphone Time," probably.) Yeah, I tend to get bored and not pay attention during the battle—you can hear the announcer from the kitchen, so it helps when I have to dash for the phone or something. :oops:
