Rare Candy Question (Emerald)

In my Emerald, I used 5 rare candies on a Beldum to get a more accurate prediction of its IVs. Once I figured out it had some nice IVs, it was still stuck with 5 rare candied levels. I've heard that rare candies before EV training is bad, but in my case, can the Beldum still be saved by EV training at level 10?

EV training can be done at lvl 50 as long as you didn't fight any battle with it:) Should have saved before you used rare candy then you can find its IV you can turn off and use the save file and you have you lvl 5 again.

rare candies shouldn't prevent it from reaching it's full potential after ev training as long as you have enough levels left to actually ev train it.

Rare Candies are only bad if you don't have EVs.

you still have 90 levels to get evs and by then if that made a difference it would probably be extremely insignificant so don't worry about it

if you are level 99 with no evs you could probably get all your ev's as long as the pokes you are fighting are low leveled and you have a macho brace.
