There's enough burn here to finish most things off. The Slogger is the only offensive creature (but is a finisher with its final shocks). This is a generic type 2 mono-red deck, though other versions are seen.

For Extended/type 1/type 1.5/casual, you can add in stuff like fireblast, incinerate, lightning bolt, etc. to pump up the deck more. Mishra's Factory is a good target also.

No, the slogger is part of mono-red is tends to be the thing that actually does the wearing down until fireball finishes things off. Also, the shock for 10 cards is a deal if you're finishing things off (note that the slogger tends to go through unblocked).

Um... I don't get that deck... seriously... I get the culling scales/Darksteel stuff part, but... y 4 burning, 3 cunning? 4 wat?

Not familiar with forks and copies are you?

Let me explain:
I play either, and fork it with Mirari, first time for what I want, second time for itself (actually vice-versa). I get what I want, and then the wish back again (technically a different wish). I can continuously do this to generate card advantage from mana, or I can find key cards easily using the wishes.

Of course, taking a page from...myself, I saw the panoptic mirror. My thoughts were, "WHAT? AUTOCASTING SPELLS????"

So first thing that came into my mind were the wishes: I get 1 card of my choice (either sorcery or instant, depending on the wish) every turn during my upkeep. So yes, 4 burning wishes and 3 cunning wishes to both make sure I have it to imprint on the mirrors or to cast them with Mirari for card advantage/solutions.

Obviously I play this casually, since wishing for essentially any card is quite broken. And it's annoyingly good at setting up quickly...

So that's why the 7 wishes are there. And yes, I did take a page from 12post with the 4 sylvans, 4 reaps, and 4 cloudposts (and the platinum angels for that matter).

Anyway, since this is still a slow deck, I need removal that works. The only thing I could think of are the scales in there. Next came the ingots. If I can wish for anything and basically play anything with the ingot, I can generate such an advantage that it could easily slam my opponent into submission. Yes, I did plague wind my opponent a couple of times just to be funny, and I do slam my opponent for 20-something with fireball, and of course I kill them with their own creatures (once I set up, I tend to imprint golden wish onto the mirror...hehehe) with mass confiscates. I'm actually thinking of running a Memnarch in there just to annoy everyone. :P

Yeah. I can see your point. But I feel it's still too heavy on the creatures to be controlling.

And it has a reclaimer on main deck, and one on sideboard. 1 skeleton is enough.

Been thinking of a deck idea, thinking of building something. My friend, who's been getting his butt kicked by 13th mirror a little too much (current streak in 1-on-1: 7 wins, 3 losses, 3-man multiplay: 1 win, 2 losses, 4-man multiplay: 2 wins, 2 losses). Aside from him being forced to use 4 disenchant and 3 altar's light main-decked to beat me twice, he wanted to make a super strong combo deck: with mind's desire.

I'm not sure what his deck really is, but it runs 4 twiddles, 4 dream's grip, 4 mind's desire, a whole bunch of mana accel, a LOT of card drawing, and brain freeze.

The plan: basically, make 1 land produce a LOT of mana using his enchant lands (as mana accel), cast mind's desire, dream's grip/twiddle, etc. until he plays his entire deck and then brain freeze for hte win, or just stall long enough to set the whole thing off like 20 times with Mind's Desire's storm. For what I've seen, it's devastating when it's set off, but apparently 13 Mirror is faster to set up (NICE!).

Anyway, since I like combo decks, I've been thinking of other combos to use...like some way to break my thought dissector...

Yup! I've been pretty quiet about it. It's a great game though... I enjoy finding super-cool cards more than actually playing. :wink:

Yeah, about Spirit Reaper, I've had it for a long time and it seems to really come in handy for me... for defense and for sacrificing. I see a lot of people who use the card at shops around my area, so I tend to follow their example. :oops:

...and yes, I love my Amazoness Swords Woman, it too has been a great help.

Balloon Lizard is too slow,you should put in Stealth Bird since it works great with Gravity Bind and add Messenger of Peace for extra stall and it works great with Stealth Bird too.You might want to put in more 1000-Eyes Restrict so you can destroy alot more monsters with the Scientest combo.Marie won't see too much play so I recomend taking out 1 or 2.To thin it down take out 1 Offerings to the Doomed and Chorus of Sanctuary.

Now heres my deck its a Reptile-type and Dino-type with burn aspects.I abuse drawing power with Card Destruction,Cyber Jar,Graceful Charity,Mirage and MST/Emergency Provison combo and Pot of Greed so I can get Black Tyranno out quick with Ultra Evolution Pill.I use Stealth Bird with Messenger of Peace and Gravity Bind.

Aether Vial? Hmm... once you get it to 6, you can't play the lower costing ones can you?

Final Countdown and Seven Tools are a big cost enough, I don't want to pay even more, even by just a few points... Stealth Bird's in my side deck.. I just want to see my opponent get destroyed by his own doing =P

Nice, but what if you get the Stealth/G-bind/Messenger out first? How will u use Tyranno? Don't tell me you're going to destroy your own? =P It's a shame if you do...MST is an offensive spell... ^_^ =P

Just in case, here is my mono-green elf deck... I don't have any cards since Legions, and I don't have many cards period. I got a whole lot from the Onslaught cycle, some from 7th Edition, and some from 8th edition. Plus, of course some random cards from older sets, but most from the Onslaught cycle (the epitomy of my Magic-playing days). I stopped buying from new sets because it was a stab in my wallet...

Anyway, as a start here, this part is a little weak on consistency. If you want, you can take out some of the 1s and put in elves such as:

The Rampart Growths should be taken out. With the 3 slots, you can add more pumping or stuff to use extra mana on. My recommendation:

Tribal Unity (Onslaught...this is pump all creatures of chosen creature type, aka elves)
Enrage (8th edition or Scourge, requires red...this is pump)
Fireball (Darksteel, requires red...this is burn)

Oh and I don't do number ratings. It's, however, good from the limited amount of stuff you have.

btw, the 8 counterspells (4 mana leak and 4 discombobulate) are necessary so the wraths and stuff don't ruin your day. If it happens, you're in deep trouble...So yeah.

Oh, and Ancient Mage's Tome isn't in English yet...it's in the Limited Edition 5 - Yugi Pack in Japan and is (LE5-004); it's also referred to as [Magician's Tome].

Deck has the basis of using Aether Vial and Crystal Shard to bounce my creatures (aka Scrivener) back from the field and then play it at once as an instant. The "into play" effect still triggers, thus giving me the effect I want over and over again. Note that I run 9 counterspells only, but with the bouncing Scriveners, they seem to be endless instead.

This is a very annoying deck once it gets going. (note that you'll NEVER deck out...).

Yeah, I am goin against a decent wind deck and earth deck, and my lil bro has paracite paracide with insect barrier. He also threw in three BEWD's with a metamorph for his paladin.

And on kid at my school has DP deck that gets it out in like two or three turns. He also through in three jinzo's for a good lcok.

So basically lots of little zombies getting clamped and then you generate such a large amount of mana that you can pull out the "fireball turn", where you sac everything and everyone loses a lot of life. Except for you.

4 Shikari hands down man. Drop the patrols for them. Makes the deck run a lot more smoother. Aside from that. It's a pretty good prototype, tho I don't like the restoration card, and the mirror seems a little out of place.

Huh? o_O... white artifact without restoration? hmm... the mirror's for the spells... it's good enough: Altar for artifact/enchantment removal, blinding beam 4 defense, stir for both offense and defense, and restoration 4 continuous retrieval of destroyed arfitacts.

No I don't think you should have so much restoration at that. I mean, you're not going up against 4 shatterstorms here...Besides, you tend to be facing point-kill cards. I'm just against the restoration as much as raise dead (costs B, return creature from graveyard to hand).

Also, stir the pride I feel might be a little weak (cost-wise). I think Glorius Anthem might do the trick faster for you (also lasts longer). I know entwine, but the cost is so much that I don't think it's that dangerous.

I'm trying to make it 40... but it's so hard =P

The Woodlan Sprite combo with Elma doesn't work.I'm not exactly sure but I know it doesn't work.I think it doesn't work because Elma says...

When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while equipped to a monster, this card can be returned to the owner's hand.

Woodland Sprite says...

Send an Equip Magic Card equipped to this monster to the Graveyard to inflict 500 points of Direct Damage per Equip Magic Card to your opponent's Life Points.

Elma isn't destroyed its just sent to the graveyard so you won't get Elma back.

So you can take out 3 Woodland Sprite which reduces your deck to 47 already.

Take out both Fairy of the Spring and add a Magician of Faith for more choices.Now your deck is down to 46.

Magical Marionette is powerful with the combo,but you should just try to stick to getting all the Exodia pieces as fuast as you can.It will be hard to get out too because most of your monsters will only last one turn.Getting rid of both will reduce your deck to 44.

Get rid off all the Negate Attack and add 3 Waboku.Waboku can be activated even when MST or Feather Duster is played.Deck count is still 44.

You can side deck Contract With Exodia and Exodia Necross and add it back in if you are against hand destruction.So your deck can be either 42-44 cards.

btw, I'm pretty sure ravager affinity can slap this hard. Also, tooth an nail decks will nail those rats much too easily. Anything on helping out against the unkillable platinum angel?

btw, I don't know the devour, plunge, and beacon. I'll be back with the full rate once I get the draft done...probably in 2 weeks.

hey, i believe i posted this deck a while back..updated it a little. taking it to tournament tommorow and again next week. Suprisingly its racked up a bit of success couple first, few seconds..so not bad. Probably wont get any suggestions in time for tommorow, but I could still use some help.
