I choose Fugi (Magby).
It's his first battle. Let's see how this goes.
Fugi, Sunny Day! (he learns that by himself, if I rememeber correctly)
02-04-2005, 03:50 PM
Grimer use your screech attack!
02-04-2005, 04:12 PM
Magby uses Sunny Day, the sun starts to shine brightly.
Grimer uses Screech! Magby DEF -2
Magby: 100% def -2
02-05-2005, 11:44 AM
Sludge bomb him dead!
02-06-2005, 02:14 AM
Well, I knew I shouldn't have agreed to this. Let's see if Flamethrower can do any damage if he survives with Defence so low.
02-07-2005, 03:18 PM
Magby uses Flamethrower, Grimer: 26%
Grimer uses Sludge Bomb, Magby KO'd
Next Mon Bron!
02-07-2005, 04:43 PM
I choose Lava Blast (Charmelion).
Flamethrower that pile of slime with the addition of Sunny Day!
02-08-2005, 08:13 AM
Meh I'm probably dead now...Sludge bomb.
02-08-2005, 06:10 PM
Charmelion uses Flamethrower, hits! Grimer: KO'd
Next mon and Moves

Grimer uses Sludge Bomb, Charmelion
I think you got the stats a bit wrong :/
02-09-2005, 12:00 AM
I agree, Dap.
KoL, please redo the stats. Charmelion should have KOed Grimer and not taken any damage. I checked.

You promissed, Dap. Since you are going agianst that side rule (Nothing SE on Fire types), it's a forfeit. Now either play fair and lose with pride (or try to win!), or forfeit and lose anyway.
Your choice.
02-13-2005, 11:47 AM
Bron, you can't make up rules like that. Even if he said he wouldn't use SE on Fire Types he still can, you can't stop him. He doesn't have to forfeit. You need to learn to battle against type advantages, everyone else has to train there pokemon against type advantages, your not got going to win every battle with non-evolved pokes.
02-13-2005, 03:41 PM
No it's my fault. I totally forgot with other things happening... sorry, I'll edit my original post.
02-14-2005, 06:38 AM
JT, we agreed to it beforehand. The only reason we didn't put it in the main rules was because this rule is an agreement and is just based on Honor.
Thanks for remembering, Dap(kmnguy). Honestly, I thought you were appologising knowing you were gonna go against that rule. Anyway, thanks for rememebring.
Now about my move, um, I think I'll play on the Sunny Day effect. Flamethrower!
(Funny how I keep using the same move, but I think it fits in this situation,)
02-25-2005, 11:06 AM
Umbreon, toxic tm!
03-09-2005, 05:29 PM
KoL, where are you? This thread has been unreffed for a couple of weeks, I think!
03-16-2005, 05:46 PM
Charmelion uses Flamethrower! Umbreon: 58%
Umbreon uses Toxic! Charmelion: 100% TOX!
03-21-2005, 06:02 PM
03-21-2005, 06:12 PM
Ouch! Painful Combo there, Dap. I was kinda hoping you didn't have it, but then again a rich guy like you has pelnt of Cash to but that.
Well, the good news is that Protect CAN'T work two times in a row. KOL, if you know how to ref this move (And I hope you do), you should know that Protect gets a much lower chance to work after the first one.
Well, I'll have to use another Flamethrower, not that it makes any difference this turn.
03-23-2005, 05:49 AM
Of course I know how protect works, I have reffed nearly 60 battles, I am a ref afterall.
Umbreon uses Protect!
Charmelion uses Flamethrower! But Umbreon is protected!
Charmelion: 94% TOX!
04-05-2005, 11:54 AM
Bron what gender is Charmelion?
04-06-2005, 03:13 AM
Oh crap. You really want to make me Toxic myself to death, huh?
For Attract Charmelion is Male, of course. I assign Genders by looks for my URPG Pkmn.
04-06-2005, 02:01 PM
lol Attract then! (Umbreon is female)
04-06-2005, 04:26 PM
I saw that coming. At least I can do some damage before Attract hits. Last turn for Sunny day, lol.
Flamethrower + Sunny day.....Go!
