Wifi Guide

The new Wifi feature is only available for DS and Wii. Pokemon wifi enables you to trade pokemon and battle with others worldwide.

Friend Code:

To use wifi, you need a friend code.
This is how you get it. You will either need a router or a good connection.

Go to the main menu (start of game)
Wifi settings.
Set up wifi there.
Open your game.
Go to the pokemon center, down the stairs.
You will get your pal pad, it is for adding other peoples codes.
Talk to the Lady in the Middle Counter.
Connect to wifi.
Disconnect.
Check your pad for your code!

Trading:

You can trade pokemon with people. Just select the pokemon you want to trade and viola! You got it!
Remember that you need at least 2 pokemon in your party to trade.

Battling:

You can battle other players. Select from single or double battles.

Free level, lvl 50, or lvl 100.

GTS:

You can trade with others without using a friend code.
You can look for the pokemon you want, but the catch is that you need it in your pokedex before you can look for it, and you have to have the pokemon the person wants to trade.

Battle Tower:

You can battle worldwide without using a friend code.
At the battle tower, you can earn Battle Points for winning. Redeem BP for prizes.

Voice Chat:

You can talk to other people with wifi! You can either enable or disable voice chat by pressing X.

i agree.but due to the fact that many pokemon are hacked in the GTS i dont use it(realeased some shiny cheruby wth the ID:00400)
you cant even check the summary of the pokemon...
