Alright, i am SICK of the people on wifi using legendaries!!
if you've battled me, you know who i am, and i just want to say
those of you who beat the game and/or play on WIFI with legendary
pokemon are seriously noobies, and cant use REAL pokemon because
you gotta act all supirior n stuff. oooh i have legendaries too, even a PC
box and a half of them, but im not pethetic.
Pink Leon is also my used name on revolution, so you would know if you
have encountered me. who else is with me on taking down unfair fights?

seriously. i know what you mean, beating legands and pwning them is
pretty cool, but if i lose, uh, see here? not fair game? oh then why do they
seem so proud when they "win"? most of the time i still win, but even when i lose,
they are using legendaries that they dont even have to train themselves.

Sure I don't need my LV 100 Ledgendaries, shiny, I can still use my LV 100 ubers/normals, Shiny, to win. but I don't care I cna't be beat. SO DIE NOOBS. I can use my non-ledgendaries to win still, and they can't say, "HE WON BECAUSE OF HIS UBERS/LEDGENDARIES!!!!" Cuz I won't have and ledgendaries, ubers, I will have but only like 1 or 2 :rolleyes:

Yeah the worst is when i have to fight darkrai! he biggest uber in my opinion but beating them anyways does rock.

Yeah. Although it was funny when I beat a Lv. 73 Groudon in hits with a Lv. 50 Pachirisu and a Lv. 43 Flareon.

OK, first off, if you have a problem dealing with "ubers" and "legendaries, GET OVER IT!!!
What good is complaining about "ubers" !? If you're truely good or truely plan on being the best there ever was, then you should build your team to take on ANY situation. Look at me... my only "uber" is Manaphy, who, first off, I don't consider an "Uber", and secondly is not as strong in the Sp. Atk apartment as some of my other "non-uber" pokemon (well, actually it's because I EV trained it on Defense and Sp.Def). I fight people who use only/mostly "ubers" ALL THE TIME!! And if you still think it's unfair, then LOOK at my record in my sig. And hell, I don't even USE Manaphy part of the time...

It really can't be disputed that uber pokemon (among whom Manaphy is included) have advantages over regular pokemon, either with their stats or their movepool. Saying that Deoxys is perfectly fine competing with regular pokemon is ridiculous.

That being said, legendary pokemon and ubers are not the same thing. Suicune is crying because of this thread. :(

I hate legendaries too, even though I used them on my silver because I was little and stupid back then. But my D/P team, and my emerald team can kill legends easily. A ,ot of people use Dialga, so I use my shiny lucario to take em out. Hopefully garchomp isnt considered an uber, hehe. :oops:

That's not true. Why do you think alot of people use Herracross and Garchomp? They're not "ubers", but they seem to win their share in battles. Comparing Deoxys to a, let's say... Dunsparce is exactly the same as pitting Milotic against Dunsparce. People totally misunderstand the competitive play. If you use "ubers" because you think you're all mighty and powerful with them, I will GUARANTEE you will have more losses than wins. And shame on you other people for degrading other players BECAUSE they use an "Uber" or six. Pokemon should be FUN, not discriminative. Oh, and I also speak for the legendaries as well. So stop being little woosies and fight your battles like you actually PLAY Pokemon.

Pickleboy is right ignoring good pokemon is bad lucky me i have legend and non legend team and your non legends wouldn't beat my legends for obvious reasons legends have amazing stats and my record for pbr and pearl is like 90-10.

It's just silly to think that a team full of uber pokemon is equal to an OU team. There's a very small handful of pokemon in OU that can compete with ubers. If ubers become allowed, I would have to keep those pokemon in every team I build. That takes the variety out of pokemon. Tell me, is it easier to ban a small group of pokemon from regular play, or to allow them in and take any and all diversity out of teambuilding?

The answer seems fairly obvious to me.

Why do you think I was comparing Deoxys to Dunsparce? You can compare him to pretty much any OU sweeper and they are hugely outdone. His defenses are weak, yes, but he's pretty likely to outspeed anything in OU anyways.

Well, for Deoxys specifically, He can out-do ANY Pokemon in certain stats depending on his form, but he's still (in my opinion) a woosy and easy to beat.
It's not really that silly once you think about it. I use Blastoise all the time to KO Ubers such as Deoxys, Dialga and such. I'll use Lanturn to impair them, and then I'll have my way with Ludicolo (making it rain) or Swampert (beating the crap out of them). I only use Manaphy to power up his stats, and then unleash fury. Even then, I use Milotic over Manaphy for the purposes of annoying the opponant.
And thinking whether it takes the variety out of pokemon or not is a choice, not an automatic proccess. Sure, not all pokemon were create equal (like Caterpie and Ho-oh), but if you have a firm belief in your pokemon, then you can win any battle.
