Basicly people were talking about this alphabet soup pokemon and why were some hidden powers effective and some arent?we will find out while you read this guide.

1:starting
So you decided to find about why the unowns are a mystery or why there not.you may notice some does super effective,some doesent,and some are normal,but thats another chapter.

2:the unown
now basicly these things are EVERY alphabet including an explamation point and question mark.Their only move is hidden power(if it knows anything else,its hacked.)while i was training my grovile in the solocion ruins i found a patten to these unown.

3:the path
When you first enter.you will see a message on the wall that you need to decode(its like normal letters but with unown shapes).it says this:
Top-Right, Bottom-
Left, Top-Right, Top-Left, Top-Left, Bottom-Left.
this is the path to reap the rewards of what they have.while you find your way down you will find a little kid who gives you a sticker,and a ruin maniac with 2 geodudes and a bronzor(this was in diamond.never saw in pearl).

4:the prizes
Of course you wont follow the directions without them giving some sort of prize?once you get to the treasure room you will find a mind plate (used for turning that hacked arceus of yours into a phychic type),an odd incence (used for getting mime jr breeds),rare candy,a nugget,and another message.this one i didnt decode yet but help would be appretiated.

5:the secrets
Now i bet you wanna know the secret to the unowns and the pattern?the secret is your pokemons name and the unowns shape.I dont know about nicknames but if the unown is a letter G and you have a Grovile,it will be super effectice cause its the first letter.If it was shaped like an O it will do normal damage cause grOvile has an O in the middle,and if it doesent match the name of your pokemon at all (like an unown X to a grovile),it will be not very effective.

my cousins-for helping me at the battle tower so i had nothing to do but train my treeko in solocion ruins
