Anybody watch the Ultimate Fighting Championship? Or any of the other MMA stuff. Its not really like wrestling with the stupid coustoms, these are real trained people going into real fights. Its now considered a sport. I might take Brazilian Juijitsu classes:happy:

Pro-Wrestling is acting. MMA is people who train martial arts and fight each other, this goes along with Judges,A referee and some people there incase someone gets hurt. The other day some guy broke his nose.

You're still at risk in the professional wrestling business. Concussions, broken bones, even deaths still happen as a result of the athletic feats those guys perform. If you don't look at it as real fighting, then there's something to be gained.

MMA's good, too, but don't expect to become a cage fighter after a few months of classes. In fact, don't expect to become one at all unless you've really got that killer instinct. It's not for me. TKD point sparring is my game, and it's far more strategic in some respects.

Pro-Wrestling isn't completely based on acting. Only a few spots and the finish are acted. It actually involves a lot of athleticism.

So what, its still awesome and entertaining and they're basically doing the same thing without hurting themselves really badly. (and alot more, going onto scaffolding and jumping off ect)

Does Martial arts have storylines? Is there comedy? is there drama? not much of it.

I'd watch MMA but my download limit can only go so far.

Quite right, too. It should be older than that. Don't want to see any kiddies snapping each other to bits in the schoolyard now, do we?

Jiu Jutsu is Jiu Jutsu, don't get too hung up on styles. Even doing Judo I'm sure you'd feel more than happy. It's a great art, I practiced it a while but circumstances changed and I had to take up Tae Kwon Do when I moved schools.

If you're serious about MMA you should read up on the teachings of Bruce Lee and Jeet Kune Do. Be formless, like water.
