If you're new to contests, and need a little boost to get started, this is the place to be.

The Berry Store (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26118) lists all the available Berries and how to blend them. If you need help with that, just ask.

- You can pick up to $5,000 worth of free berries and you can blend them in any combination you like.
- You won't be allowed to take extra berries to use later; you must blend them all now.
- This is a one-time deal. The rest you have to buy yourself from the Berry Store.

Do you mean those exact berries? I've learnt that you can't use two of the same berries in one Pokeblock.

Cool – Beauty = Cool
10 – 60 ~ 0
Beauty – Cute = Beauty
60 – 0 = 60
Cute – Smart = Cute
0 – 50 ~ 0
Smart – Tough = Smart
50 – 10 = 40
Tough – Cool = Tough
10 – 10 = 0

I came up with 60 Beauty and 40 Smart again. Am I missing something?

There's some sort of process where you divide and/or subtract. I'll try and calculate it. DG has to confirm it, though.

Yes, that's the equation for luster. We got the same answer on that. (37)

For your Pokeblock, I calced it as 70 Beauty, 50 Smart, and 37 Luster. Nice block!

You have to divide the attributes (Smart etc.) by 0.8, then round down. So I got that.

EDIT: Why not try multiplying? 60 x .8 = 48!
40 x .8 = 35!

Meaning that is illegal, and you can't do it, since I didn't approve it.

@Nobody_Nerd: I wasn't right, I used the online block calculator you find in the Berry Store here. It was logical I was right. ;)

Sorry, but you cannot blend more than 1 of the same type of berry in a Poke-Block. Even if you blend them separately, it is impossible to get a Poke-Block with just 1 berry. Try getting a combination of different berries worth $5000, and blend them together. ^_^

You cannot add the attributes until an employee who works here verifies your order, which is me ^_^.

And just with what you do to the 5 different attributes, eg.

You bought this Pokeblock, and you add them to your stats, your stats will be...| Cool: 0/125 | Beauty: 51/125 | Cute: 25/125 | Smart: 0/125 | Tough: 0/125 | ***Luster: 40/255*** |

So you still want the Pokeblock? If you want, I'll approve it for ya.

I'm not that experienced to know this, but my guess is that the free berries worth of $5000 must be all used on blending out 1 Pokeblock only. I'll just wait for DG to verify.

he can blend the berries in any way he wants, only I'm not sure if it's allowed for him to blend with another berry he bought already. However, there's nothing that proves he can't, so we might as well let him do that.

It's your choice really, whether you want it to be blended or to be used for battle purposes. And you can't blend the same berries in a Pokeblock, meaning they must be of different kinds.

Thanks Ataro! It's just I don't understand the mechanics all too well so it seems like I negate my own berries when I use the calculator.

So I totally feel like starting as a coordinator, but I seriously don't get the whole blending thing. Like it has some formulas and stuff in the berry store thread, but then the link to the berry blender gives you a whole different thing and doesn't show stats, but flavors instead. I don't understand... my head hurts. :(

If I blend 4 Nomel berries together, what does that get me? I think, from what I tried to figure out, I got a Black Pokeblock with 40 Tough and 26 Luster. Is that right?

If it is, then those are the free berries I want and that's how I want to blend them. I hope I did it right... I'll wait until a response before putting up my coordinator stats.

Oh and one other question (not sure if it belongs here) with my coordinator stats, do I put up all owned Pokemon, or just Pokemon I plan on/have used in contests? Hey KantoChamp! Glad to see you're interested. I'm just getting started in Contests too! We could be starting contest rivals!

Anyway, I think that you're not allowed to blend four of the same berry together, at least here anyway. Hope that helps!
