Even though I shouldve said something about the starting point of this RP, I didn't - so Ecruteak City it will be.

The twin towers gave a mighty feel to the city of Ecruteak as the sun settled down, leaving a pink and orange trace behind it, increasing even further the city's beauty. People of the community walked in the streets - occasionally entering a store to buy a little something. Battles were also going on, sometimes opposing two Pikachus - but also at times opposing much more imposing Pokémon, such as Gyarados or Electivire. All in all, the city was blooming with life, and nothing there seemed to be wrong.

Or was really nothing wrong? Well, perhaps one thing.

Perhaps the two teenagers admiring this semi-utopia from an old attic. Actually, it's where they'd been since a long, long time as they parasited the attic in search of a place to live. The attic of this semi-deserted house was never frequented, so it was a safe place to be.

As said, these two twins had something special about them. Something creepy, even. A secret of thousands years, and there was no way to hide it - it was too evident to not see. While the girl of the duo had an immense jaw sprouting from her head, the boy, for his part, had long, sharp scythes in place of arms and forearms. Aura and Nova were their names

All of this was due to a curse, cast long ago by a powerful and feared wizard, after a war between these teenagers [and others'] ancestors. The curse was transmitted by genes - so, as love was the only way to reverse the curse, it also spread the curse further, sadly. All of the cursed wished for a better life - of course - but there was shreds of hope in some cases.

But, as you might guess, they were all doomed anyways.

The sun finally set down, leaving the moon and the night to do their jobs.

Justin walked into, now quiet and seemingly deserted, Ercuteak city. His tail provided him a light to see the road. The air was cool, and Justin didn't like it. He hated the cold now. He quickly scanned the road ahead for any humans, and found that there was an abandoned house at the end of the road. He walked to the door, and knocked. His claws made a scratch sound as he tapped the door. The door automatically swung open, reveaaling an empty, spacious room. He decided to sleep here. He curled up in the corner and began falling asleep.

It was all so calm in the outskirts of Ecruteak City. Not a sound as the sun slowly set, giving the sky a beautiful orange and pink color. Most people would enjoy seeing this, but...

"KYAAAAAA! THE SUN IS SETTING! LET'S HURRY UP TSUKI, I DON'T WANT TO GET CAUGHT IN THE DARK!"

The silence of the outskirts was broken by that frantic scream of a girl, who was dragging another one by the arms as she ran as fast as she could. The one doing the dragging had a pair of long, red fox ears, a bunch of neck fur and a bushy tail. Whilst the one being dragged had a pair of icy blue fox ears, the same length as the other girl's, a thin tail of the same color as the ears, and fur of the same color on her arms. These two were one of the people who had inherited the curse. Their names were Tsuki and...

"Kiyori-oneechan! Calm down! We're almost there! By the time it's night time, we'll already be there!"

Kiyori stopped, looking up at the sky for a few seconds before smirking and starting to walk, trying her best to look as brave as possible. Tsuki could easily tell she was freaked out, however.

"O-Okay... so... we get to Ecruteak... and hopefully, we find somewhere to stay..."

Tsuki looked at her arms sadly, grabbing her ears after doing so. She pulled on them a few times before sighing. She slowly moved her head up to look at her Kiyori's head, sighing once again.

"But... Kiyori-oneechan-"

Tsuki was silenced, now noticing they were standing infront of what seemed to be an abandoned house. She didn't even realize the fact that they had entered Ecruteak already. She glanced over at Kiyori, who was starring at the house before moving a few steps towards the door. Tsuki quickly followed, watching as her sister knocked on the door a few times. The door slowly opened, only to reveal a big, spacious room. Kiyori nodded at Tsuki before walking in, Tsuki quickly following behind. They couldn't see anything, as it was very dark, and, with some help from Tsuki, Kiyori managed to calm down. The two of them walked to a corner, sat down and laid their heads against each other's before drifting into a peaceful sleep. Whilst Kiyori simply had a sleeping face, Tsuki's face was filled with worry.

IC: The morning sun shining through the glass window's have illuminated Marik's room giving only little space for shadows. It became warmer and Marik's eyes began to open. He was tired and did not feel like doing anything so he decides to go back to sleep but his bug wings hurted him badly and made him bleed a little.

"Gyyahhhh!" ; Marik screamed as the pain worsened. He rose from the bed and ran making sure to pass the shadows. He tripped near his front door and opened. His loyal pokemon Arcanine rushed and helped him up. "Thanks buddy." ; Arcanine nodded his head and went with Marik outside. Marik's Bug wings could not be seen since he had a pale-white jacket on the heat of Ercuteak City.

"Hrmph..." Justin made a noise as he awoke. He looked around the room, and saw too people sleeping there. He noticed they had strange ears, and fur.
"Could... Could they...?" Justin pondered the facts for a moment.
"Are they a part of another cursed family?..."
Justin decided to leave them be, and walked out side the house.
"AGH" Justin roared in pain, he felt his legs shaping differently.
"God... This curse... is killing... me..."
Justin stood up, now looking more like a Charmeleon than ever. He decided to wear his cloak over him, and buy some food. He went to the Market area.

Located north-east of Ecruteak City, Mt. Mortar was the second highest peak in all of Johto. It also likely possessed the ugliest mountainside in the country, as most of its trees to the side facing Ecruteak had been harvested to build the legendary twin towers many centuries ago. Few plants grew on those slopes. The only pokemon remaining on that side were small weeds such as Oddish. Most pokemon couldn't survive in the area because of the terrian. It was almost completely solid, like a strong mortar.

However, Marvalo was on the north-east side of the peak. Away from the stripped slopes that lay just over the next bump on the mountain. He lay in the shadow of a shallow cave talking with his Togekiss.

"I can't wait until this transformation is over," Marvalo told him. "It's the waiting that's killing me."

Togepie sighed, he would never understand what made the idea of becoming pokemon so appealing to Marvalo. "Can we head into Ecruteak tommorow?" He asked his trainer. "I was hoping we could pick up some sweet poffins from the bakery. Please?" The Togekiss elongated the last word of his request. It then began to nuzzle againt his trainer's torso.

"No, I've told you about twenty times already. I don't want to -" Marvalo's voice cut and and grew rattle-like for a moment. He coughed, then continued his small speach. "I don't want to go into town because of the people there." Guilt overwhelmed him as Togepie's eyes grew wide and tearful, though all it did motion-wise was try to nuzzle more forcefully. "Well, I guess one more time-"

His Togekiss began flying around in circles excitedly when it discovered Marvalo was finally caving in. He cried out, "Thank you, thank you!" Without hesitating a moment, Togepie darted into the woods below asuring his trainer that it would be back in a minute with Fang and Claw, who had gone out hunting together.

IC: Marik walked through the concrete ground towards a person that looked like that he was affected by the curse. "Finally, I meet someone with a curse like me." ; Marik tried to run but his wings hurt so he made good pace towards Justin. "Hey, the name's Marik, your's is.." ; Arcanine looked around and liked the heat from the sun's ray. It looked at Justin with a calm face and looked around the area making sure to protect Marik from further injury.

Nova slowly got up from his lunatism [he had been sitting on a box and thinking for an hour now], making a loud cracking noise, surely alerting anything or anyone below. Damn... he thought as he sighed and sat down again, bored out of mind. It's then that he heard a noise - perhaps a voice - coming from below. Panicking, he did the first thing that came to his mind - go below and see what was the noise.

One bar by one, he climbed down the ladder that lead to the attic, before crossing a hallway and silently going down a volley of stairs. In a corner, a silhouette seemed to move. Without a noise, he approached it to take a closer look.

"Huh?" she opened her eyes and saw her Mightyenas face meeting hers.
"Oh!" she let out a startled cry as she fell from her bed.
suddenly she saw the Mightyena tail on her......
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!" she screamed probably waking the whole town.

IC: Before any one could answer screams could be heard across town. Arcanine looked around trying to find the source of the screaming so he set out. "Go Kricketune!" ; A bug pokemon was released before Marik. "Alright, lets go." ; Kricketune followed Marik by his side while Arcanine while out finding the source of the sound.

Elana got up and brushed herself from where she had been lying on the ground after falling and got dressed. "It was just a dream......nothing to worry about she reassured herself."
"Arggh!" she screamed for the second time that day after seeing the Mightyena ears on top of her head. She relaxed when she realised that it was only Mightyena coming to say hi.
Elana patted the grey pokemon's head. "Sorry for startling you." she said and held Mighyena's warm fur close to her skin.

As Justin opened his mouth to say reply, he heard a loud noise. At thay instant, the person who had approached him was off to find where the sound originated. Justin sighed, and quickly began to follow. He noticed the person was also cursed.

IC: Marik, Arcanine and Kricketune came up to Elana. "I heard you screaming are you..." ; Marik then noticed that Elana was affected by the curse as well. Arcanine looked at Mightyena with a challenging look and both growled at each other. Kricketune shook it's head and sighed. The sun shined making it warm and almost hot outside at Ercuteak City.

Fate and luck were two things that were never on my side. Well, not my family either. It was like we were born to suffer. Have the hopes of dreams of men, but then have the fate of returning to the wildlife. That’s how it happened…

It all started with a curse. One that after all this time should have let up, but no, it kept going on like a disease no one could diagnose. But I wasn’t the only slowly becoming a Pokémon before my eyes. I wasn’t the only one losing nearly an inch of height every week. All from a wizard and a vendetta that went back many years ago. I swore, I was going to kill him, and I had everything I needed to do it.

Depression fueled it, pleasure suppressed it, and in some cases, managed to reverse the process, even though the curse would always be there. My problem was… I was always depressed. My goals of accelerating in the military were dead, leaving me with only one goal now. Destroy the wizard that killed my future, and took it all away from me. He had picked the wrong people to screw with.

But I was running out of time. I had the M95 Sniper Rifle I needed to perform the shot, but I couldn’t let him expect it, or he was going to be too prepared to deal with it. However, I was quickly turning into a Raichu, and I had no idea if I would still be able to perform the shot in that kind of state. Words couldn’t describe how totally wrecked I would be if the very thing that was driving me to kill him in the first place would have stopped me from actually doing it.

But finding him first before it happened… was the real objective here…

Jay-Evie enetered town. There were some people out, and they all starded at her, for she had a tail and forgot to cover it up. "I knew i had forgotton something this morning" she wispered quitly. She looked up at the burned tower, "I only wish people would stop staring" whispered Jay, she was starting to feel uncomfortable. "Eev ee vee" Moon replided, it could sense its friends discomfort. Are there any other people that are cursed she thought, for the girl had traveled form Olivine and hadnt seen anyone. "Maybe its just me" sigh Jay as she continud on walking down the road

My eyes flung open as I screamed at the top of my lungs, probably waking up anyone in the near vicinity. At least, Kiyori-oneechan woke up. She starred at me for a few seconds before realizing we were still in the dark and screaming at the top of her lungs herself. She clinged to me as if I was glue, which made me sweatdrop. After a few minutes of calming her down, and shaking her off, I decided to stand up. I glanced at the other side of the room, and my eyes widened with fear.

"Ki-Ki-Kiyori-oneechan... wh-wh-what is th-th-that?!"

I slowly pointed my finger towards the hallway in the other side of the room, where Kiyori glanced before starting to shake just like I was. There, right in that hallway, was a noticeable silhouette of someone. We both glanced at each other before screaming once again at the top of our lungs. We both started to run around the room like idiots, trying to find the door to get out of thee, but, to no avail. They glanced at the silhouette, and saw that it was starting to move closer and closer. Not surprisingly, Kiyori jumped infront of me and held her fists infront of her, growling.

"You touch my sister, and you're dead. Who the hell are you?!"

I shakily starred at the silhouette, nodding twice slowly before speaking.

"Ye-Yeah! Wh-Who are y-you?"

Mount Mortar, Johto

Two after vanishing into the woods, Togepie was back. He was accompanied by a sour looking Zangoose and Serviper. Both of them had clearly been interrupted in the middle of meals. The remains of a fish pokemon was still visibly grasped in Claw's left paw. Fang too, was noticeablely fuller around the middle than he had been before leaving.

"Do we have to go?" Claw asked in an irritated fashion, "I'm not done eating yet."

Marvalo couldn't help but feel a little ill to his stomach seeing the carrion his Zangoose carried. At the same time he knew that Claw would be bitter for the next few days if he wasn't allowed to finish his meal.

Luckily, once he became a full Bulbasaur he wouldn't be eating too much meat. Wincing at the meal, Marvalo replied, "I guess you could stay here. We'll be back by morning anyway." Turning to his Serviper, Marvalo then asked, "Do you want to stay here too?"

The serpent performed a kind of shrug. Then headed onto a sunny space of flat rock while he digested his meal.

"See, I never had to fetch them!" Togepie said happily, "You were gonna let them stay here."

Ecruteak City, Johto

Kasey Gaidoz had gathered all the information she needed on Marvalo's whereabouts from a local shopkeeper. According to the man's information, he was last seen heading towards Mahogany town along Rote 42. She had wasted no time in ordering her Magneton to pull her towards the city.

On her way through the town however, Kasey spotted a strange looking individual who appeared to be deep in thought. His feature that had gained her attention at first were his ears, they were elongated and similar to that of a pikachu. She must have stalled there for at least a minute, staring at him, before she began to move on towards Mahogany Town.

The young adult's eyes had given Kasey a scary picture of herself. She didn't even know him, but could tell that he was suffering inside. There was a hate inside him that could kill. She pushed the thoughts out of her mind.

'I could never become someone like that', she unsteadily convinced herself.

Justin returned to the abandoned house to gatehr his belongings. He didn't have much, so he got it al together fairly quickly. He began heading towards the Pokecenter, in hopes of renting a room for the night. His charmeleon like claws on his feet made strange foot-prints.

Justin entered the Poekcenter, worried his looks would catch wandering eyes. He walked up to the desk, and asked for a room to stay the night. His tail uncontrollably swiped out, and tripped a person. He pulled it back in, hoping the fire wouldn't catch. Acting as if nothing happend, he walked into the hallways.

Route 42, Johto

Togepie helped Marvalo climb down the steepest part of Mount Mortar, nearest the mountains base. They couldn't be far from Ecruteak now. Marvalo looked both ways down the trail, there was a large pool of water on either side of him.

Trails through the mountains were a possible choice too, but Marvalo knew that they could be dangerous. He didn't want to risk injury on one of the lower floors.

"How about -" a harsh cough interrupted him. After a few seconds, the fit stopped, and Marvalo recouperated for a minute. Togepie gave him support by fluttering around his head and humming peacefully. The boy then continued, "Could you just fly me over the lake there?"

"Sure boss," Togepie said with glee.

Marvalo climbed onto the flying type's back slowly and they had a slow trip over the glassy surface of the water. Inches below, many water types could be spotted. Marvalo was glad that he didn't need to surf near all of those wild pokemon.

As they approached the opposite shore, Marvalo bounded off his Togekiss. He felt glad to be on land and away from the multitudes of creatures that could have attacked the duo.

Ecruteak's towers were visible just down the road. Togepie took off like a rocket towards the poffin bakery. Excited by the activity of his pokemon, Marvalo also followed at high speeds.

"I apoligize. These changes happen to me every day. I have less then months before my transformation..." He said solemnly.
"Is there anything I can help with? I must help... I cannot just walk away from what I've done without at least a token of my apoligies."
Justin hoped she would hav an anwser for this, for he was feeling sorrow, which ment his transformation would increase in speed.

He looked at her tail, seeing that it was blue. He figured she was a Dratini, yet her head fins seemed to push him towards thinking Vaporeon.

She then noticed him looking at her. O, i think im gonna be a Vaporeon, ansewerd the girl with a smile. Moon also smiled.

OOC, the second RP that i REALLY liked, gone. I hope this ones not gonna get closed. Ill be a million times more carefull now.

Flamera puffed smoke from her nose. She did not like that Justin would be traveling with a girl.

"And it's terribly obvious I am transforming inot a Charmeleon..." He said, pointing to his claws. "And, it is also terribly obvious that Flamera is a bit territorial..."

A Charmelon, at least youll still walk on 2 feet she said smiling, as she was trying to hide her tail from some kids that were passing by. The girl continued after the left, Im glad i found someone to travel with, now ill feel a bit better when they all stare. An angry looking Pokémon then caught her attention. Oh im sorry Charmelon, Jay said bending down to its level, i hope your not mad at me.

Moon simply smiled, she was happy to see her friend find somone else like her, it help her cop better. Although now that the Eevee thought abot it, Jay had been doing pretty well considering

OoC ~ Neo has good reason to close RPs where post are this short. The answer is really simple. Make your posts longer, add detail to them.

Neo might be a little lenient on this role-play because he's in it and liked the idea, but I'm pretty sure that people who make posts that are 'just over a line' in length are condemning their own RPs. You want this one to stay up, keep your posts long!

Ecruteak City, Johto

"Where did that bloody little bird get off to?" Marvalo mumbled to himself.

It had been gone from his sight even before he had made it into the town. The bakery was empty, and he couldn't think of anywhere else where his Togekiss could hide. After all, they certainly weren't the smallest of pokemon.

While searching for Togepie, Marvalo came across a few odd looking characters. All of them bearing traits of pokemon. Were these the others?' he couldn't help but think to himself, 'Members of the other families who had been cursed to change into pokemon?' It made no difference to him anyway, he was proud of his change, he wanted to turn into a bulbasuar. These others were rejecting the blessing they had been given.

Marvalo became distracted by a twosome of trainers, immersed in both of their own mutations. One was pointing out his dragon-like claws, while another shamefully tried to hide her tail. As he memorized the different details about them he failed to notice where he was heading; This ended up in Marvalo stepping on the tail of what he hoped desperately was a Riachu.

Jay then stood up, looking for a vending machine. Lately, she had been thirsty a lot, probably due to her transformation. She noticed one in the corner, by a huge flashy poster. “Yay, I’m going to get some Water, do you want anything, a candy bar or chips or a drink”, she didn’t quite realizes how stupid it was to ask a Charmelon boy for a beverage. By the time Jay had finished her question, she was already at the vending machine. “A dollar and fifty cents, for WATER, they’ve gone mad said the girl a bit disappointed”. She counted up her money and had a total of five dollars in change. “Moon’ll want a Fizzy Express whisped Jay-Evie putting in the money”. She knew once her new friend had made up his mind on what he wanted, he could always just tell her, he wasn’t far from her at all and she was super thirsty now. A bottle of clear water popped out followed by a yellow can that had the words Fizzy Express written all over it. Jay then waited for the boy’s response

Ecruteak City, Johto

Kasey was about to leave the city when she heard a peircing scream from somewhere behind her. Her mind told her to keep looking for Marvalo, but she knew that she would regret it later if she didn't try and help out someone in trouble.

"Turn around Trio!" she commanded her Magneton, "We have to help out whoever made that scream!" Part of her told her she was going back because she was a good person, but a darker portion of her soul kept telling her that she was just trying not to end up like the teen she had seen in town.

It became apparent that the scream was issued from inside some type of building. Kasey couldn't tell what the building was because of the darkness outside.

Summoning her machop, Kasey commanded him to open the door. For a moment Chump looked like he was about to use karate chop, but then he just twisted the handle to allow Trio and the Kasey-bearing red wagon inside.

The darkness in this room was nearly absolute, but Kasey bravely called out into the shadows, "Is anyone in hear?" in a small voice. Chump backed out of the building and firmly planted himself where there was a streetlight. It seemed like ages before anyone replied.

EDIT: OoC ~ Gives moonlight a high-five for adding a few extra lines to her post. Now you just have to work on grammar a bit. Grammar, everyone's favourite topic. Actually, I like grammar... uh oh, I must be a freak.

Justin thought for a moment about his decision. As he thought, three kids began to play with his tail. Justin was extremely annoyed.
He lost his cool.
"Get away from me or I'll bite your heads off!" He yelled. The children scrambled away in fear, and ran out the door. Justin felt horrible. His anger issues were fed by his new Charmeleon-like self. He realized that this sudden burst would likely cause his transformation to quicken.

"Oh jeez, I-" Before he could finish his sentence, a surge of pain flew up his spine. He roared in pain, and fell to the floor. His tail slowly began to grow, eventually becoming a full-sized Charmeleon tail. The back of his head began to grow a bump, his claws grew longer, and his hands were completely Charmeleon like, but with a tannish color.

After the pain subsided, he wobbily pulled himself up with a chair, and sat in it. He took some deep breaths, and finally began to speak again. "I didn't mean to yell. It's this curse. I am starting to acquire Charmeleon like tempers. Probably why most people stay clear of me." Justin fell silent for awhile. He sat and stared at a sign, seemingly zoned out. As he sat, he was thinking of what his life would be like.

Finally, Justin anwsered Jay's question. "I have some money, so I can get it. Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it." He walked up to the machine and bought a small bag of "Fire Chips". He sat back down, and ripped it open with his claws. He began eating them.
"You are probably going to be like the others. I have met some other cursed beings, but they ran from me, due to my 'anger issues.' " He fell silent and waited for a reply.

I was standing there until I felt someone step on my tail. Of all the reminders I needed of the pain and humiliation I was in, that had to be it. And since I was lost in a train of thought, I didn’t expect it, but I managed to endure the pain.

I turned around, seeing what did it. I was pretty angry and ready to pummel the stuffing out of whoever did it.

Another human. I got embarrassed every time I saw them, since I knew I was slowly losing that, and would end up just like my parents. I was shrinking, my eyes were blackening, and I was already showing obvious signs of my fate.

“Who are you?” I asked him, looking at him, “Can’t you understand what’s going on?”

And that was true, definitely not a usual lie of mine. We needed to put this wizard down, but I didn’t even have a name yet. Meanwhile, every day, I could feel myself shrinking. But when I thought about it deep inside, I didn’t care if I totally became a Raichu now. I was going to take down this wizard no matter what it was going to take.

And second… there were others out there… with the same problem. I knew they wanted the same.

Jay was a bit surprised at his rage towards the kids, but she knew it wasn’t his fault. It was that wizard Star ( her sister ) had told her about, he was to blame. “Your anger doesn’t bother me”, she said, bit nervous, this girl didnt handle being yelled at well. But, Jay knew that she was going to deal with it, for her new friend, her only other human friend since she devellopped a tail. She then smiled upon remembering what she heard. “Hey, is it true that happiness slows...Jay toke a massive sip from her drink...down the mutations”? Her tail then whapped Moon in the face painfully. “Moon, are you ok, she cried bending down to it’s level, im terribly sorry”. However the Eevee didn’t seem to badly hurt. She smiled and “Eve, vee”. “Thank goodness I didn’t whack your head of" said Jay giggling a little bit. “Oh I remembered, im Jay-Evie by the way”, she said happily extending her hand out for a handshake

IC: Marik wanted to handshake with the person but then suddenly his wings grew bigger and the pain increased. Now the side of his face was looking like Kricketune. "AGGGHHHHHHHHH!!" ; Blood dripped off the sides of the wings falling onto the concrete ground. When it stopped he fell to the ground. Arcanine ran to him and put Marik on top of him. Arcanine then re-united with the group once again. Arcanine looked at Marik and saw his sad face. He knew that he had to cheer him up when he awakens. If Marik had died then Arcanine and the rest of Marik's pokemon will be in a long lasting grief.

She never wanted that to happen to her or anyone, but it had and she had to deal with it. Let`s bring him to the hospital, i think its down the street, the girl was pointing to a modern looking bulding with a big red plus sign on the the roof. It was pretty hard to miss, espaically with all the old buldings around it. Jay hopped the doctors could do somthing for him, altough the possiblities of that were slim. "Let`s go" she shouted running towards the hospial.

IC: Arcanine followed Jay as they ran. Marik's body was atop of Arcanine's and was great for Arcanine's muscles. This way Arcanine can get stronger and faster. But Arcanine didn't care about that, only Marik was his main priority. He wanted to help him to the Pokemon Center with Jay and the others so he kept going non-stop to make sure Marik does not die. Marik started to open his eyes. There was only a blur but he fell back down asleep.

The nurse, who had green eyes and candy red hair, left her desk, and franticly ran up to the the kids. "What happened, asked the young lady, with a hint of worry in her voice. " I think its his transformation that caused this replied Jay, she could`nt add more to that, it was all she knew. The nurse backed off opon hearing that he was a mutant. "Please, can you help us" insited the teen, she had to at least try to help. The entire room was staring at them, curiosly.

Marvalo anticipated what was to come, there was no way a person who looked this angry could have good intentions. As the Riachu-hybrid spun around to face him, Marvalo couldn't help but cower. Even though this guy wasn't much taller than him he certainly was stronger.

Staring directly into Marvalo's eyes he asked, “Who are you? Can’t you understand what’s going on?”

"I... I..." Marvalo stammered helplessly. He couldn't bring himself to say any words in his defense. The apology that he was trying to give kept getting caught somewhere in his throat. At this point in time, Marvalo was showing almost every sign of fear at his disposal. Still in a cowering position and sheilding his face with his hands Marvalo managed to blurt out, "I was looking for my Togekiss!"

Unsure of how the stranger would take this, Marvalo remained in his low to the ground position. He did relax somewhat after he had managed to say something though. Finally, he lowered his arms, revealing his fangs and large green skin patches.

Still Ecruteak City...

Coming to the realization that nobody was inside the house, Kasey had her Magneton move her outside immediately. She didn't want to stay in there a moment longer. With the houses dark corners and empty rooms, she was sure that the structure had been abandonned long ago.

"Thank god the scream didn't come from in there," she whispered fearfully to Chump.

He came out of his hiding-shrub and nodded vigorously in agreement. "Machop!" he loudly proclaimed after scraping leaves and small twigs off his body. Grabbing the handle of the red wagon, Chump was the one who started them back on track again.

Kasey giggled and pointed something out to Trio. She whispered quietly to her magneton, "Do you think we should tell him that he has a spinarak on his back?" She then watched as the steel pokemon glided over to it's unsuspecting target. Issuing a metalic humm started to communicate started the next series of events in motion.

Chump began to shout and flail wildly, trying to slap the small spider of his back. Realizing the area wasn't a safe home Spinarak quickly jumped off and fled into a nearby building. Unfortunately, the machop still beleived he had an unwelcome guest to his backside and still was fighting the air. He tried harder and harder to get rid of the bug, eventually body slamming himself into a nearby electrical power poll. Though this showed him that he no longer carried a spider on his back, Chump also found that he had disabled power for the entire city. The street lights went out quickly and Ecruteak was cast into darkness.

IC: As Arcanine enters the Pokemon Center with Marik on his back the lights were shut off. It was a blackout in Ecruteak City. Arcanine growled and listened for any movements and such. It seemed like nothing was heading towards them or anything. It was pretty nice being in the dark with the cool air blowing out of the air-conditioner. Arcanine sat down and rested as Marik did on Arcanine's back.

The nurse sigh, she knew the Urgent care ward had back-up power, but everywhere else didn`t. Jay looked worried, nurse, is he okay, asked the teen as she watched the lady inspect the boy. Humm, I think so, after some rest he’s going to be fine. At that moment some red haired kid came in with a hurt Rattata in his arms. The woman went over to see him, looking relived that she didn’t have to deal with the weird teens. "Well im glad he’s gonna be fine” she said sighing happily. However the girl couldn’t help thinking of the pain the kid was probably in. Jay was staring at the wall; it had a few Pokémon posters on it.

He looked at Arcanine and smiled petting it's warm fur.

Justin was too pained to follow them to the hospital. He felt as if his legs were glued to the seat. The pains began rising as he began thinking of the look on the children's faces. He couldn't bare it. He was going to crack at any moment. He slowly stood, and headed for his room. He was going to pack his things and just go to the mountains, where no one could fall victim to his anger spurts. He knew that when he becomes a Charmeleon, his anger will rise greatly. He did not want to hurt anyone. So he began packing. Flamera attmepted to stop him, and remind him that he has someone thats like him to be with. Justin sighed. It would be rude to just walk off on her like that, so he unpacked what little he had already packed, and sat in the lobby, to wait for her to return.

I just needed his name. Just his freaking name, that was it. Who was the name of this punk wizard causing all of this misery?

I looked at the guy who stepped on my tail, and already he was freaked out.

"I... I..." He stuttered terribly, looking like he had seen a ghost, "I was looking for my Togekiss!"

He kept to the ground, still freaking out from before. I already knew that probably wasn’t the truth, but I let it go rather than getting aggressive about it. Now wasn’t the moment to waste time like that. But, once he lowered his arms, I saw his fangs… and his green skin…

We were both in the same hellhole.

“Don’t worry about it.” I told him in a cold, stern voice, “We’re both going through the same thing. I know how it is. Except for me, I’m far more into the transformation than you are. I… probably only have days before its all over.”

I then crept next to him, and pulled out the M95. I showed it to him, and I laid it flat on a nearby table.

“You see this?” I asked him, showing him the rifle, “This is going to fix everything. I’m taking out that wizard, and once he’s dead, we’ll be back to normal. But even if I'm wrong and the curse isn’t gone after he’s bit the dust, at least we’ll know the little maggot is pushing on a daisy. Me… I could live comfortably as a Raichu knowing that. Knowing I was the one that buried that wretch.”

I then looked at him in the eyes, offering my brown-furred hand for a handshake.

“Name’s Connor.” I told him, looking at his eyes directly, “Gunnery Sergeant Connor McCarthy. What’s yours?”

IC: "I'll be alright, just as long as I'm happy." ; Kricketune started to tickle Marik but it had no affect since the pain was so bad that he couldn't even laugh. Then suddenly Marik's left arm transformed into Kricketune's left arm. "It's worse than I thought, I'm transforming at a rapid speed!" ; Kricketune had a sad face and wanted to rub Marik's back but his wings were in the way and hurt him.

Three consecutive screams were heard as Nova approached the two silhouettes -- of course, Nova's anti-analytic mind kept him from realizing he was freaking them out, therefore he kept approaching. The night barely there, there was still shreds of light glinting through the windows, which could've let him see the two silhouettes closely without approaching further, but he didn't give any effort so he approached even closer to the shapes.

"You touch my sister, and you're dead. Who the hell are you?!"

Nova opened his mouth and spoke - but instead of the answer he would've given, he emitted a loud shriek instead. Damnit! he thought, in fear that the transformation was advancing quicker.

"S-Sorry... happens from time to time." His gaze shifted to the left for a short moment, before he replaced it upon the silhouettes. "Uh... I-I'm Nova... And w-who are you?" Fear evident in his eyes and voice, he slowly backed away a bit. He afterwards proceeded to examinate the silhouettes.

After taking a closer look at the two scared shadows, he jumped back in shock, hitting a box and falling on the ground. He painstakingly got up again, blankly staring at the two silhouettes. His eyes were wide and his breath accelerated, showing evident fear. He felt a dolor in his right foot as two of his toes merged together, his hard skin making the process even more painful.

The two silhouettes before him, two girls he would estimate around his age, made him jump back in shock for a reason. Being either cursed like him or really messed up... like him, both of them seemed similar in appearance - one of them, however, looked like she was part Glaceon, while the other one appeared to have Flareon parts.

"Uh... cursed too... by any chance?"

IC: Marik followed Jay outside with his Kricketune. When they were outside a explosion happened. Fire erupted as the large boom made strange noises. A duo of somesort appeared as the smoke cleared. It was a tall man [6'7 to be exact] with a Charizard by his side. "Hey, FREAKS!! I'll wipe you all out! WE DON'T NEED YOU AFFECTING EVERYONE HERE!!!" ; "I'll show you the true effects of my curse!" Marik yelled releasing Rhydon. It landed roaring at the Charizard. Both prepared to have a great battle.

Jay almost screamed she was so afraid, these men were dangerous. Moon backed up a few inchs, it didn't want to get hurt. The girl could only hope the boy and his Pokémon didn't get hurt. Most people that were out ran away, not wanting to get involved, or harmed. Jay wished she could do the same, but something kept her from doing so. A feeling that she maybe useful. All of a sudden her eyesight started to go crazy, the teen knew an other tramsformation was going to happen. She closed then, hopping somehow when she opened them, she'd be at home playing in the front yard or swimming at the beach with her old friends. Moon was watching the enemies, waiting for a moment to go get help.

Still very nervous, Marvalo paused and waited to see the guy's reaction.

Does the transformation speed up over time? Marvalo wondered to himself. His thoughts were halted as the stranger pulled out a sniper rifle (M95 assumed to be a sniper model) of some sort. Anything he might have said was suppressed by the fear of being brought into conflict with this likely unstable individual. Marvalo didn't know how to react towards this turn of events.

"You see this?” The man asked Marvalo, “This is going to fix everything. I’m taking out that wizard, and once he’s dead, we’ll be back to normal. Offering a handshake, the man stared Marvalo strait in the eyes. Would he be able to tell that Marvalo had considered fleeing a moment before?

"Name’s Connor. Gunnery Sergeant Connor McCarthy. What’s yours?"

Extending his own hand to shake that of Connor's, Marvalo replied, "I'm Marvalo, Marvalo Alexandr." After a moments pause he decided it would be best to add, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Togepie fluttered up to Marvalo with a mouthful of poffins. In a self-satisfied way *Togepie whispered, "We can go now." Apparently the Jubilee Pokemon had eaten its fill. Silently, Marvalo motioned for his Togekiss to go back to the mountain. Marvalo might not want to go back to a human himself, but he knew that his old friend Kasey would have. He had to help her after all the pain he had caused back home.

Ecruteak City / Route 42, Johto

Kasey marveled at the damage her Machop had caused, it was amazing how quickly things had turned from humourous to disasterous. "It wasn't supposed to turn out like this," she tried to tell Chump, "It was just a little joke."

The flustered Machop didn't want to hear her excuses. They quickly fled town before anyone could arrive to find who caused the damage. Chump refused to talk to her until after they had made it all the way to Mortar.

"What now, how are we supposed to climb this thing?"

Once his Togekiss had come back to him, he whispered to it, and then left, heading for the mountain. Something was weird with that. Nothing about any of this seemed to bother him. As if… being a Pokémon really wouldn’t bother him all that much. What the hell.

Marvalo didn’t understand how much this hurt me, that’s what. He didn’t understand this cost me my dream, and now I’m fighting against time. But at the same time, he seemed scared of me. I knew I was rough, but come on, now wasn’t the time to cower out of this. Or forget it, I’d feel like I was doing nothing but wasting time.

I sat there with my back to the crate with my legs spread out. My clothing was barely fitting me anymore, but I knew I couldn’t buy new clothes. My ears, my… tail, and all this fur. I didn’t… I didn’t want to end up just like my parents, but I was going down the exact same route they were. And every minute I sat there depressed, I could feel new fur growing in places that didn’t have it before. And I was getting so small…

I didn’t even have the wizard’s name. Marvalo didn’t know it, heck, he didn’t even freaking care about the mission. This was NOT natural, couldn’t he see that? Didn’t he know how much this freaking hurt me!? He headed back toward the mountain like everything was fine and everything was good. Come on, was there anyone out there going to help me!? Or was everyone perfectly fine about what was happening to the families cursed by this maggot wizard?

Fine. Fine, of course it was fine to them. It was always freaking fine to them because they didn’t see how bloody WRONG it was for this to be happening. I punched the create hard with my fist, I couldn’t believe how angry I was. This was NOT me, didn’t anyone understand that!? I just covered my face with my hands. I was losing it. I felt the fur again, and it always felt like it was getting worse every time. I didn’t dare look at a mirror now. I figured by now I was way more of a Raichu than a human.

And I was tired. Too tired to keep thinking about it. All I could do now… was just rest, and hope when I woke up, things would at least get a little better…

IC: "Burn them with Heat Wave!" ; The Charizard flapped it's wings releasing a huge gust of fire that ravaged through the area. Rhydon charged forward and knocked Charizard against a light pole. "Use Sing Kricketune!" ; A lullaby was sung by Kricketune making Charizard fall asleep. "Jay! Help me finish off Charizard!"

As the heat wave blasted, Jay opend her eyes, everything had a bit of a blueish tint. It was weird. A few lose papers that were laying around were now cinged. "Were are the cops" thought the girl, they were supossed to help those in need. "Jay! Help me finish off Charizard!" shouted the boy, he was counting on her. But what could she and Moon do ? Its puny physical attacks were nothing against a Charizard, but then she remebered. "Shadow ball, Moon let's go" yelled Jay-Evie, it was her best bet agaist such a massive oppnent. Moon charged and fired dark balls of energy at the dragon-like Pokémon. They were both hopping for the best.

Thinking of Kasey, Marvalo was about to say he'd help out Connor when the 'clearly unstable' guy punched a nearby crate. This startled Marvalo, he didn't understand the big issue about becoming a pokemon as long as you didn't end up as something revolting.

Like my friend, Marvalo realized, Like Kasey. He had already abandonned her back in their hometown, the least he could do was help out now. I would help this Connor. Even though it wasn't what I wanted, countless families out there needed this aid.

The minutes of unease had taken a toll on my transformation rate. Fear seemed to be one of the most powerful factors in the growth of the curse. When Marvalo finally decided to offer his help, he could tell that the words weren't English.

"I'll help you in any way I can," the sound of his voice scarred him. So this was why I've been having that cough lately, he though. "Can you still understand me?" I asked.

Mount Mortar, Johto

Kasey sat in her wagon as Trio levitated it up the mountainside. There was nothing up here, the mountain was totally bare from what she had seen so far. Chump had been recalled into his pokeball before they started to rise up the mountain.

"Set me down," Kasey asked her magneton. "We're not going to find anyone up here." It was at this moment that Kasey spotted a plume of smoke back in Ecruteak. "Oh no!" She quickly commented as she recalled her damage to the city, "I hope this isn't my fault!" Tears of sludge slid down her cheeks as she considered what she may have done. "We have to get to that fire, now!"

Trio took off through the woods, magnetizing the metal cart to follow it. She rocketed between trees and rocks, sheer luck prevented her from hitting anything. In moments she was back in town, watching as an unfair battle took place.

A boy in the midst of the fight shouted, "Jay! Help me finish off Charizard!"

This was too much. Were these trainers grouping together to battle a single other pressence?

"We have to help out that Charizard who's under attack!" Kasey called out, summoning her Machop. "Karate Chop that Rhydon! Trio, quickly paralyze that Kricketune with a Tunder Wave!" She bagan to scream at the other trainers, "What do you think you're doing? Can't you see the damage you've already caused?"

Kasey had no idea that she was helping the dark wizard, she merely beleived herself to be helping out the city of Ecruteak.

Where is Officer Jenny, she'd be able to sort this out in a instant...

I almost dozed off until I saw Marvalo’s face again. I didn’t know what to think about all this in the end. Or if it was over already and I was just doomed to end up like all the others, despite how much I wanted things to be different.

“I’ll help you in any way I can.” Marvalo told me, his voice strangely changed, “Can you understand me?”

I was a little relieved. I gave a slight nod, and I knew how it was. My voice had changed by a lot too, definitely not as deep as it used to be. All I had to do was look at my own hands to see how much of myself I had lost already.

“Thanks.” I told him, pausing for a short while, “I… I’ve lost a lot from this. My family, my future, my dreams… they’re gone, the things I worked so hard for… just like that. Gone. I was discharged from the military… because of this. I know strong happiness reverses the effect, but I could never get that. Not after everything I’ve lost…”

I looked away for a moment, but there was still hope. I didn’t forget the reason why I brought the M95 to begin with.

“We need to find the wizard’s name.” I told Marvalo, knowing that was the first step toward narrowing down the places to find him, “He could be hiding anywhere, but having his name and possibly a face will help us track him down and finish him off. We’ve got to do it… before we no longer possibly can.”

I wasn’t sure if Marvalo knew his name either, but even if he didn’t, having someone help me with trying to find it out would be a massive help.

I was just glad my previous assumptions about him were wrong…

Connor nodded to show Marvalo that he could still understand the croak that had replaced his regular voice. It made a little bit of sense, with the ears Connor had developed he could likely already understand pokemon. He began to share a bit of his story with Marvalo, telling him a little bit about his previous military career. And about how he didn't beleive that he'd ever be able to return to normal because of his attitude.

That explains a lot about his demeanor, Marvalo thought. Discharged from the military, he would probably be okay in another career as long as he hadn't received a Dishonourable Discharge. But then again, judging by his current moods that seemed like the most likely way they'd get rid of him.

"We need the wizard's name," Connor explained simply. "He could be hiding anywhere, but having his name and possibly a face will help us track him down and finish him off. We’ve got to do it… before we no longer possibly can."

Marvalo computed the message slowly through his head. "So," he asked slowly, "We don't even have any idea what continent this freak might be living on?" That would make the whole mission very difficult, ecspecially if he was able to travel quickly. The two of them might never be able to catch up with him. Matters would only be made worse if they transformed, as Marvalo would get very short legs.

"Actually, I've heard stories recently that New Bark was having some... irregular gravity troubles," Marvalo added. "Do you think that the same sorceror is causing the chaos down there?"

Ecruteak City, Johto

Kasey was very nervous about the outcome of her challenge against the two people. She had never been any good in battles, and wasn't sure if this match would end any differently. Her last fight versus Marvalo had left her Magnemite in the pokemon center for two days (it had been a mong time since she challenged Marvalo).

Trio's Thunder Wave seemed to be taking forever to reach its mark of the enemy Kriketune. Chump's Karate Chop was equally slow.

Why did everything seem to move so slowly in combat? Kasey wasn't sure what to do, these opponents looked tough. And they were likely criminals, judging by the strange attire they wore that looked like peices of pokemon. If she lost, would they steal her precious pokemon away?

No, I can't lose this time, Kasey pleaded hopefully in her mind. For the sake of this city, I'll bring down that Rhydon and Kriketune.

"I knew this would happen..." Justin had realized he had most likely scared Jay off with his burst. He was angry at himself and felt as if he lost someone who could have been a good friend. Yet, he waited. He felt as if there was no reason to leave. Flamera decided to cheer him up by making funny faces. It didn't help.

More children and people became curious, and he was slwly being surrounded. He was feeling angry again, but he decided to ignore them. More and more people came to see, what they called, "The Freak". They even began to take pictures. Yet, he still stayed and waited.

Jay looked somewhat please with the result of Moon's attack. Shadow ball hadn't done that much damage on the massive dragon, but it was enough to harm it. She knew Rydon could finish it off now. The steets were full of ruble caused by the fighting, it looked like a war zone. "Way must people be this way" thought the teen, it simply wasnt right for them to be attacked like that. "Theres only one", remebered the girl, that helped them. "We have to help out that Charizard who's under attack!" shouted a random person, getting her Pokmon to attack her battle partners Pokmon. He seemed to fend her attacks off well. "What do you think you're doing? Can't you see the damage you've already caused?" Jay was shocked at that comment, she was one of them, one who thought that people like her Charmelon friend, her alli, and herself were trouble and should be distoyed. The teen's fear turned quickly to rage.''We're not the problem here shouted the girl, he attacked us, just like you". "Why do you have a problem with the people like us, victims of transformation". Her face was fire red with anger, the nerve of some humans. All of a sudden, the boy completely changed into a Kricketune. Jay's face looked horror struck, now what. She was alone in this battle. Plus he was now stuck that way. "Damn that wizard, **** ( you get the picture ) him". She had to defend both him and herself, with her tired Eevee. Her eyes gloo a light blue and she felt a surge of water erupt from her mouth, a hydro pump. The powerful blast nocked the Charizard into the ground, and it's trainer into a wall. Jay didn't notice her arms turn a light shade of blue. She then turned to that girl, the asitant attacker. She felt a weird sense of guilt and then regained control off herself.

As Elana walked, her Mightyena tail scraped the ground. Her nose felt cold. She touched it. It was wet. "I wonder if this is part of the curse?" thought Elana. Finally, Ecruteak City cam into view. Elana started breaking into a run with her pokemon following.

When she arrived, Elana went into the supply shop and bough some HP Ups, Carbos, Calcium and other things. She came out of the shop with a brown paper bag and decided that she should go to the park nearby.

OoC ~ You're always supposed to give opponents a chance to dodge or defend. In one of the guides I'm pretty sure it says you can't declare an attack and claim it lands in the same post. Doesn't matter though, my Machop wouldn't have won anyway...

Kasey wished she could have retalliated. The verbal attack was too much to bear. Who was more of a victim of this curse than she was? Were their skins becoming a poisonous goo that killed everything they touched? Heck, they could still walk for crying out loud. Filled with anger, Kasey ordered a very violent move next.

"Trio, use a Thunderbolt against that the female trainer!" Kasey shouted, but her voice was drowned out by a volumous Hydro Pump. Though her enemy may not have heard the order, Trio did and he was about to shock the girl with all his availible energy. With all the anger in her at this moment, Kasey could literally feel her form melting away. With each passing second she became more and more like a Grimer.

Kasey thought desperately, How could she say such a thing, my skin is purple, is she blind? That must be the most self-absorbed creature I've ever laid eyes on. She rolled in her wagon over to Chump, who was sprawled out on the ground. His eyes were closed, and there was a nasty bump to his head. "Chump," Kasey cried, "Wake Up..." The Superpower Pokemon was barely breathing now.

"You B******!" Kasey shouted at the top of her lungs, pointing a sludge covered arm at the boy-turned-Kriketune. "I'll kill you for this!" She threw herself out of the wagon and tried to land on top of the bug. She planned to strike him as much as she could before his Rhydon interveined.

Jay let herself clam a little bit. Then she noticed the oppenent changing, slowly. "Damn it", I don't get any of this, why'd she help him if she's like us? The teen had been too emotionaly bothered to notice any details, none. "It's an error, this fightning is pointless", shouted the girl, trying to bring peace between them, after all they all faced the same troubles. This was too much, far too much, it had gotten out of control. The foe was busy with her wounded Pok/mon to hear Jay. "I hope her Pokémon is go"...the girl colased to her knees, she hadn't any energy left. That Hydro pump had drained her completely. She was going to go appologise for her actions, when she herd "You B******!" coming from the Grimer girl. Jay didn't have the energy to retaliate, but couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen next. "I'll kill you for this!" shouted the opponet to the boy. She then began to attack her friend. Without thinking Jay-Evie screamed "Arcanine defend, but don't hurt her'' "Eev" yelled Moon pointing to the Electric Pokémon, it was charging an attack. Oh snap said Jay to herself, too weak to move, but Moon got irratated. It fired a shadow ball and then the girl blanked out.

“No clue.” I told him point blank, looking down, “I know nothing about this guy, no one has seen him for a long time I’d guess.”

Still, I was determined to nail this guy. But considering I was missing all these critical pieces, it was driving me insane. Heck, I felt like I just lost three inches sitting here getting so frustrated about it…

“It’s definitely worth a shot to go and see.” I told him, looking up at that thought, “But… New Bark is a heck of a distance away. We… could try hitching a ride to Hoenn from Olivine’s seaport, but… I know we’d have a heck of a time trying to get tickets looking like this. Unless we… sneak on, which actually won’t be that hard. Heck, I would have been a sniper if none of this would have happened. I was trained to do this.”

It was the best shot we had at nailing this guy. I only hoped… my humanity would survive the trip…

"A ride to Hoenn," Marvalo inquired slowly, "Why would we need that? Isn't New Bark town in the south-east?" He tried to ask calmly, in order not to offend Connor. "You might have been thinking of Littleroot."

These events were taking a toll on everyone it seemed. Even having this conversation showed him that Connor's curse was moving rapidly. Marvalo could have sworn that his new friend had become smaller since they had first met. Even he himself felt pretty different, as his hands were looking more and more like Bulbasaur paws.

"At any rate, we should get moving quickly," Marvalo suggested. "This curse doesn't look like it's going to wait until we get ready for it."

Just before she was about to land on the enemy boy/Kriketune, Kasey was tackled to the side. The assailant Arcanine held her down to the ground with its paws. This prevented Kasey from moving, but it didn't seem to hurt her much.

In an attempt of frustration, Kasey tried to squirm free. It had little use however. The Arcanine stayed in place on top of her and no amount of struggling would let her escape. The only thing that helped comfort her was that the enemy was incapacitated to an extent. Trio's Thunderbolt attack seemed to have hit its mark.

But the battle continued. Even pinned against the ground, Kasey could see that things were not improving. There were still enemies everywhere. The Rhydon was still up and fighting. An Eevee was firing off shadow balls, and even the Arcanine was still in combat mode to protect itself from any threats.

In a brief spell (time related definition), an idea came to the squashed Kasey. She unleased a cloud of poisonous air upon the Arcanine with a revolting belch. Hopefully, this would be able to knock out the large dog, or at least poison it.

“Yeah… I think you’re right.” I replied, scratching the side of my head with thought, “I’m not from around here, as you can probably tell. Now… I’m trying to remember, if we head south-east from here, that’s still a heck of a walk. It’s a shame none of us have a license or even a car for that matter.”

I knew I hadn’t been in Johto for a long time, years. Heck, I’d be surprised if I knew the way, but we still could get there if we follow the signs. Meanwhile, once we got there, we’d have to be further careful. I doubt this wizard was going to be standing around waiting like a piñata to smash open.

"At any rate, we should get moving quickly," Marvalo ushered on, "This curse doesn't look like it's going to wait until we get ready for it."

“Yeah, it doesn’t…” I told him, checking to see my brown-furred hands were only getting furrier and smaller as time went on, “Let’s go, I’ve got your back.”

I then stood up, and almost felt a little disoriented that the world around me seemed just a tiny bit bigger to me. For a moment, my heart was racing, but then calmed down. I could tell, I was not ready to become a Raichu at all.

Once I found the route south of Ecruteak City, I called back to Marvalo. If this maggot really was in New Bark Town, he was in for a world of hurt once we found him.

IC: Arcanine coughed a little and Kasey was free but Arcanine withstanded it and released a Flare Blitz that head towards Kasey. Meanwhile Kricketune and Marik looked at each other and decided to battle. Both ran with Arcanine by their side with fire engulfing the dog-like pokemon known as Arcanine. Kasey looked up to see 3 pokemon charging at her with full power.

Moon stopped it's attack, the Eevee remebered her trainers last commend "Arcanine defend, but don't hurt her'', the last part bugged her, why would Jay add the ''but don't hurt her'' part. Was it because she felt sorry for the other girl, or a sense of guilt for yelling at her. But way would she...The Magneton managed to hit Jay dispite her kindness. There was a huge probablity that it had killed her. Moon walked up to check on her. She was barly alive. A tear of sadness rolled down the Eevee's check, how could anyone do this? However her sorrow turned to rage, as the moon's rays beamed on her, she felt herself begin to change. A flashing glow could be seen from anywhere on the street, as the cute Eevee turned into a black creature

"I've been having some problems with this so called curse," she said, "Just check out my tail, AND my nose, it's all wet."

Moon looked up at the new trainer. Umm, it said pointing at the fainted Jay, she looked so lifeless. She knew if this trainer could understand her, it could save it's trainer's life. A sound was herd, coming from the direction of the fighting. Breon, shouted Moon, she didn't want this person to join the violence, she wanted her to help Jay, for the Umbreon feared that death wasn't far from reaching it's best friend

Elana wondered if she shoukd wake the trainer up. She lightly tapped the trainers forhead."Oh no!" she's out cold."

"Come on Umbre-" Elana stopped suddenly.
She then sat on the ground and began to scratch furiously, like a dog, or Mightyena, in her case. she was there, in the posture of a dog, forgetting all about the injured trainer, furiously scratching, her Mightyena tail flashing around in the air.

The Umbreon was seechless. Her trainer was dying and this person was SCATCHING herself. How dare... A conflicting thought came into her mind. The curse!!!!. It was cusing the other person to act like a Mightyena. Funny, Moon was always more human-like then most other Pokémon. SNAP OUT OF IT shouted the Umbreon in it's language. There was no more time to lose. Something had to be done immediatly or else. The fear of that brang Moon to tears, but she had to stay strong, this was not the time to lose it.

After managing to annoy the Arcanine, Kasey pulled herself from under its body. She tried to escape the monster in order to get back to Chump. But the group of attackers had other plans. Before Kasey even had the opportunity to get away, she was blasted in the back by a powerful fire move before she knew it was coming. From a distance of only a few feet she was terribly burned.

The pain from the attack was too much for her to bear. Kasey felt her body grow heavy, and she tumbled face first into the meadow. The girl's vision lasted just long enough for her to see a two Kriketune and the vicious Arcanine charging at her.

Only a few meters away, Chump was sprawled out on the ground. His shape could only just be seen now. No, don't die, she pleaded, too weak to actually say anything out loud. You can't die, I need you. No longer able to see, hear, or feel anything, she realized that she might be in more danger than her pokemon.

Trio zipped over to her trainer's side, acting as a barrier between the enemies and its master. "Magne!" It buzzed aggressively.

"Yeah, it doesn’t…" Connor told Marvalo, confirming his suspicions, "Let’s go, I’ve got your back."

Raising what was left of his eyebrows, Marvalo asked him seriously, "You really think we're going to run into somebody hostile in the middle of nowhere? There's nothing out here but Stantler."

This guy could be a little paranoid, but it would be best to take his advice.

Nearby bushes rattled and branches could be heard snapping on the other side.

Maybe I should learn to be as cautious as this guy, Marvalo thought suddenly. He might have a reason to believe we're in danger.

"You really think we're going to run into somebody hostile in the middle of nowhere?” Marvalo asked me, finding my response strange, “There's nothing out here but Stantler.”

“Honestly, its other people I’m mostly afraid about.” I told him, getting straight to it, “Who know what they’re going to think when they see us.”

I then heard twigs snapping in the bushes besides us. I watched it very carefully, but from the sounds, I could tell it wasn’t human. However, in checking the brush, I didn’t see where my feet were, and in taking a step back, I heard something crunch under my heel.

“Teddi-URSA!!!”

I stepped back in shock to see whose toe that actually was. I looked down, and there it was, a Teddiursa with its right foot in serious pain considering it was until just under my boot a few seconds ago. Tears were flowing from its black eyes, wincing from the serious pain.

And then I had the forsaken luck of finding out its parents were the ones in the brush. Immediately, both of them came out, two very enraged Ursaring. I could tell which one was the father. Most likely, it was the one mashing its clawed fists, ready to maul the stuffing out of us.

“Beautiful.” I said in a cold, sarcastic voice, “Just freaking beautiful. Staraptor and Umbreon, come on out!”

I threw both of their Pokéballs into the air, and with dual bright flashes of light, the glow formed into the dark, shadowy fox Umbreon and the intimidating and vengeful Staraptor.

“Staraptor, use your Aerial Ace, and Umbreon, attack with Confuse Ray.” I commanded, “Do it now!”

Thankfully, the father Urasaring was struck with the slicing Aerial Ace before he even got the chance to respond. Staraptor flew at him like a bullet, and the strike was very clean and accurate, just the way I wanted it. I watched closely to see what would happen, and I saw it managed to endure the hit, and get even angrier about what I just did to it. It was just about to come charging at me with a fury when suddenly a dark light surrounded it. Umbreon’s eyes glowed an eerie white, and everything around us was blackened except for the Ursaring itself. After a brief flash, the father Ursaring walked and waltzed around haphazardly like an oversized Spinda.

Hopefully we could end this before both of us were torn to ribbons…

A small bear pokemon squeeled as Connor accidentally stepped down in its paw. That was the least of their problems though. As if on que, two grown-up Ursaring stepped out from the shrubs where Marvalo had heard rustling. He found it pretty obvious which one the mother was, as she angrily mashed her clawed fists. The parent seemed ready to slaughter us for mistakingly hurting her half-hidden child.

"Beautiful, just freaking beautiful," said Connor from behind Marvalo. "Staraptor and Umbreon, come on out!"

Following suit, Marvalo reached for his own pokeball containing a shuckle. "Get on out here Yzma, we've got to use your defense to our advantage." Secretly, Marvalo wished that he could have had any other pokemon with him at the time. Yzma was the worst at fighting comparred to any other member of his team. Connor seemed to be taking care of the Ursaring Marvalo thought was female, so Marvalo decided that he'd try stalling the father while Connor took out the other one.

His enemy let out a menacing growl. Yzma seemed to be a little intimidated, her attack had most likely fallen.

"Encore!" He shouted to the shuckle. Better this than a damaging attack, Marvalo guessed. Then, thinking of his allies, Marvalo decided to give a Safeguard. The veil covered the three allied pokemon, preventing them from getting any bad status conditions. The enemy Ursaring was still flattered by his encore, and was continuing to use the Growl attack. "Toxic!" Very poisonous liquid was splattered all over the bear's face, and the effects of cheering for his move seemed to have worn off.

"Now, Toxic the other one!" Marvalo commanded. Better to finish this nice and speedily, we don't want to wait much longer. I can feel my humanity draining. Marvalo's stubby tail was becoming a major nuisance, and his hair had begun to fall out. The only upside was that he hadn't had a battle as intense as this in months.

"Mightyena?" asked Elana. The curse was making her think she was a Mightyena.
"Yena!" she cried again, this time starting to dig. Then she went hyper. Elana ran on four legs around Moon and Jay, her own Mightyena in shock.
As Elana's mightyena tried to tell Moon what was happening, Elana lost control and smashed her head into a pole.

"What happened?" she asked, dazed.

"UM "shouted the nervous creature. It knew they simply hadn't the time to kid around. Jay's face was starting to get paller, her skin colder by the minuet, and Moon's worry growing by te second. Then the moonlight Pokemon had an idea to draw attention to itself and hopfully the people could help. It's yellow rings flashed powerfully, there was abusoluty NO avoiding it.

OOC sorry it's getting short, i'm almost out of ideas, it's hard RPing without my main character.

Elana's eyes flashed open. She suddenly remembered what was going on.
"Okay," said Elana to Moon, "We're gonna get you're trainer to the pokemon center."
Elana carefully lifed Jay onto her back and showed Moon to the pokemon center.
"Moon," said Elana, "Watch and tell me if you see cars or something, and make sure the curse doesn't happen again." Elana spoke to Jay under her breath.
"Don't worry, we're going to get you to the pokemon center. I know you'll make it."

Elana burst through the doors of the pokemon center, closely followed by moon, Mightyena, Charmander and Salac.
"You have to look after this trainer," said Elana worriedly, "I found her lying on the ground with her Umbreon, Moon next to her. She was badly injured. I don't know how it happened but Moon should know."

The nurse looked super worried as she rused frainticly over to them. "Oh my goodness what happened asked Joy in an uneasy tone. I don't know how it happened but Moon should know." repided the trainer. Ok then she said still uneasy. She'd never seen someone in such bad shape before. Chansy, a strcher please shouted the nurse loudly. People were staring, whispering and pointing. Moon knew if her trainer would see this, she'd freak. She then sigh, now things were gonna be ok, finally. Joy'd probably seen dozens of injuered Pokémon like this before. The Chansey then rolled out a strecher and Jay-Evie was put on it. "Please stay here, you'll be notified of her ststus in an hour or so" said the nurse as she was leaving towards the hall. If you were a good listener you would here her say" Good thing we have a human doctor in the center now". Moon asked if the girl wanted to sit down, ignoring the nosy people, totally forgetting poor Justin. I'll tell you the whole story soon said Moon letting herself calm down, it was over now.

Marvalo had released his Shuckle, which first took an attack hit from the Growl attack used by one of Urasring, and then kept them stuck into it using Encore. After that, he used Safeguard, and managed to protect all three of our Pokémon.

Come on… come on… we don’t have time for this…

Just as Staraptor finished striking the other Ursaring with another powerful Wing Attack, Marvalo’s Shuckle had used Toxic on both of the Ursaring. Not only was the father unable to even think right, but his body was quickly getting weakened. Well gee, at least something was going right for a change.

“Umbreon, use a Faint Attack.” I commanded him, focusing on the confused Urasaring, “Nail him while he’s weak!”

Umbreon leapt and surged toward him, and then just completely vanished into thin air. Suddenly, the confused Ursaring was struck violently from behind, and was struck down into a face plant into the rocky ground. However, he was trying to get back up, once again.

“Staraptor, finish that Ursaring off with an Aerial Ace attack!”

Staraptor shrieked loudly, swinging around in midair and then surging toward his stumbling adversary. With a swift, clean cut, the Ursaring was struck hard and painfully in the face. After that, he was out of it there was no chance of him getting back up for a while after that.

There was only one left now. Hopefully… this would have been the only mess we would be running into, otherwise we were never going to make it out of this…

After an onslaught from Connor's pokemon, one of the wild Ursarings was down. Finished by an Aerial Ace maneuver, if Marvalo had heard correctly. That left him to finish off the one remaining. Shuckles were never very good in combat. The majority of their moves consisted of stalling techniques like Protect and Safeguard. Hopefully he could pull this attack off so that it wouldn't show his new allies how dreadful his pokemon was in combat.

Marvalo shouted over to his Mold Pokemon, remembering a move that could be unpredictable at times, "Yzma, use your Natural Gift attack!" After taking a large bite out of her salac berry, Yzma moved surprisingly quickly over to the enemy and began to swing at him with her legs. (Could you call those legs?) The attack was completely unimpressive, but is was great in terms of the shuckle's regular standards.

He cheered her on from a few feet away, surprised by the force she had mustered in combat. The attack had actually seemed to have hurt the large bear. The foe wasn't down yet though. A strong shuckle attack was about the equivalent of a regular rattata's scratch.

Marvalo turned to face Connor and called, "I'll just let you finish him off then?" The boy forced a smile; he was hopeful that the military hardened ally would be able to understand a Shuckle's combat incapability.

Moon started, it just seemed like forever ago....."Well it all began when we enterd town after a long day of travel. We then made our way to the"...the Umbreon thought, the fist parts weren't very important, so she dicided to skip those scens and jump to the boy and his injury. "So Jay and I brought him to the hospital for care. It toke a bit and in the end he was ok so we were gonna come back here, untill we were jumped by some punk who wanted us dead or somthing. So the boy began to fight the meanie's Chaizard, I even got a Shadow ball in." "I only wish it ended there" whispered the Pokémon talking a small break. It was harder telling the tale then she had thought. But it wasn't the time to cry now. " But then some girl interfired and got Jay really mad, i could feel it in her, she even Hydro pumped the punk into a wall. She got the other girl who turned out to be changing into a Grimer realllly angery. So the Grimer girl got her Mageton to attack Jay, who was already weakned by her outbrust, with a Thunder attack. With Jay being part water type, it did double damage. I know she was sorry, Jay, cause she told Arcanine not to hurt"... Moon's eyes began to tear up a bit, it wasn't fair, it was a mistake, a massive one. "O never mind, you know the rest" finished to Pokémon, desprite to re-group herself.
