If you want your pokemon to perform the best, it does inquire Egg moves and TMs.

BTW, never use items like nevermeltice, soft sand, and magnet.

Gaar! I don't really easily obtain egg moves, but oh well. Okay, I don't really know what items to use, though. Suggestions?

I typed a guide on items.

Items are an extremely important part of battling. The I have kindly typed a guide on good items for battling and what they do.

Leftovers-Heals a 16th of your health per turn. Most Tanks will need this.

Life Orb-Powers all of your attacks 30% and decreases your health by 10% every time you use a damaging attack. Works nicely with Mixed Sweepers.

Expert Belt-Increases all Super Effective attacks by 10%. Works well with Pokemon that have good type coverage.

Muscle Band-Increases all Physical Attacks by 10%. Most useful with Physical Sweepers.

Wise Glasses-Increases all Special Attacks by 10%. Most useful with Special Sweepers.

Choice Band-Boosts Attack by x1.5, but only allows the use of only 1 attack.

Choice Specs-Boosts Special Attack by x1.5, but only allows the use of only 1 attack.

Choice Scarf-Boosts Speed by x1.5, but only allows the use of only 1 attack.

Focus Sash-Pokemon canít be OHKO by any 1 attack. Pokemon that has low defenses will need this.

Black Sludge-Heals an 8th of HP per turn for only poison types. Other types holding this item will be hurt by 8th every turn.

Lum berry-It heals any status. What can go wrong?

Chesto Berry-Only useful for pokes with rest. It heals sleep.

Quick Claw-Has 10% of going first.

Pokemon with Guts.

Toxic Orb-Inflicts Toxic status on your Pokemon. Useful for Breloom.

Burn Orb-Inflicts Burn Status on your Pokemon. Only useful for Milotic and pokemon with guts.

Yeah, EV after beating the game! ^^

It's much easier.

I guess this is Ingame? Heh, so I won't be suggesting the competitive items. (Coice Scarf Machamp FTW!)

ANd Machamp's ability should be No Gaurd. Non-Missing moves=pwnage

Machamp@???
~Egg moves alert!~
T-Punch
Ice Punch
Stone Edge
Dynamic Punch

But, ingame:
Dynamic Punch

Natures don't matter in-game.

But Staraptor and Luxray's are fine.

You have to breed.

But at last, I have some free machops with Fire punch, T-Punch, and ice Punch.

I really just depend on me, but sometimes I make exceptions. I'm fine with making me own team. Thanks a lot.

You breed a pokemon with another to get egg moves if they are in it's Egg Group. And males pass on moves, while females pass on nature and Species.

So, breed a Female Machop(still scares me! O_o) with a Male Hitmonchan with the Elemental Punches and you'll get a machop with the Elemental punches. :o
