Pokemon Starting Adventure!!

The Plot
It is the time of year when lots of trainers come to pick their first pokemon. They come because of the great weather conditions which is perfect to train in. The area which they live in is famous for it's large selection of wild pokemon including dragon types. Because of this, some of the starter pokemon are different than normal. 10 trainers in paticular come to pick their first pokemon and meet.

Rules
No swearing although you can say very mild swears.
No controlling another's character.
No one can be overpowered. No one is invincible in this RP.
Don't speak of another user in the RP and make fun of them.

An alarm went off. Elana Frose jumped out of bed. She was up earlier than usual, at 6.00.Elana got dressed as quickly as she had responded to the alarm clock.
"Yes! Time to get my first pokemon!" she said to herslef. She looked around her room. there were posters of Charmanders everywhere. Charmander was Elana's favourite pokemon. She was hoping to get it this moring as there was only one at Prof. Oak's lab. She was going to get there early and be the first one to pick. Running down the stairs, all she said was "Bye Mum, bye Dad," before she was out the door. Running, to be the first one there.

An alarm clock went off. A girl named Diana woke up and rushed out of bed. Her entire bedroom was covered in Totodiles, since they were her favorite pokemon.

Diana went downstairs and quickly ate some toast. Then, she quickly got dressed and ran to Oak's lab.

"What starter are you going to get,"he asked

Elana stopped every few minutes to take a breather for a few seconds.
she felt relieved to see Prof. Oak's lab in the distance.
"Charmander is mine," she said to herself.

"Totodile." Diana said happily as Oak's lab came into view. "There it is!"Diana yelled happily, charging towards it.

"Cool maybe me and you can have a battle I'm getting Torchic and I love trying out pokemons weakness against there weakness,"he said making no sense he atced like he was shy or scared or just plain old TJ.

Elana then got a burst of energy and ran straight ahead to Oak's lab.
If you saw her she looked like Sonic. Elana ran up to the door panting and knocked.

"Yeah!" Diana yelled as she reached the door, and another girl came.

"Hi, What are your names? I'm Diana." Diana said exaustedly.

Jay-Evie steped out of her house. It was a nice two story abode. "Well todays the day" she whispered as she walked slowly down the road, it was a nice day, one of those mild sunny days with a nice breeze and a few clouds. Eevee, i want to so bad she said, louder then her normal tone

Diana heard TJ, but she was too busy focusing on Elana.

"I said, are you ok?" Diana panicked.

Jay could clearly see the lab now, "Well, its finally time" she said with confidence in her voice, she was happy, it was finally time for her to leave home and go off into the Pokémon world.

"I think so," said Elana as she sprang up, much to Diana's surprise.
"Hi, I'm Elana," she said, "Thanks for helping me."
She turned and knocked on the door.
"time to get my starter," she said.

No one answered the door. But it was open a twitch so she peered inside.
"Proffessor?" she called into the empty lab.
Suddenly Prof. Oak emerged, in his pjs and rubbing his eyes.
"Did you have to be so early?" he asked.
"Oh. Sorry about that," said Elana as she stepped back.
But Elana tripped and ended up on her back for the second time that day.
"Ohhh.." she groaned.

Once again, Diana helped Elana up.

"Hi, proffessor. We are here for our first pokemon." Diana said.

Are you ok, asked Jay who had dashed like a mad girl over to the lab. Then she looked to see the Prof. Hey um Prof, why are you still in ur PJs she said a lilttle bit weirded out

"Oh yes, my starter," said Elana excitedly.

"(Sigh), Fine. Follow me." Oak said tiredly. He lead everyone through the lab.

"Yes!" Elana thought she was going to burst.
She scanned the table. Cubone, Houndour, Sandshrew Torchic-
Where was Charmander? Panic shot up her head.
Had someone got here earlier and got it before her?

"Did we bother you prof asked the girl a feeling a bit guilty", it was still pretty early. She then let out a yawn and bushed. How could i yawn on my first day of training, o well thats what i get for forgetting to going to bed early thought Jay.

Diana also panicked about Totodile.

"Where are the rest?" Diana asked.

I think their on that table said Jay pointing to another table a few meters away from the first. It had a more Pokéballs on it

Diana walked over to the table that Jay mentioned.

"Charmander, Pikachu, Eevee and Totodile." Diana read aloud. "Yes!"

She picked up Totodile's Pokeball.

Jay grabbed Eevees pokéball. Yay i got an Eevee, my favorite Pokémon she said happliy as she stard at the Pokéball.

"Are we allowed to let them out?" Diana asked.

"Yes." Oak answered.

Then i chose you, Eevee said Jay smiling as the cute little Pokémon poped out of its Pokéball. It looked at her and smiled at her cutly. Your so awsome Jay shoued joyously

Diana let out Totodile.

"Dile!" Totodile said happily.

Rikku jumped up, Knowing he was about to start a journey of a lifetime today, It was the day he would get his first Pokemon.

Rikku shouted, As he legged it out the door almost stumbling over. He continued running until he saw Oak's lab in the distance.

Rikku soon came to a grinding hault, At stopped at Oak's lab.

I guess this is the place, Im getting that Pikachu no matter what...

Rikku pushed the door and a room opened up in front of him, There were still some Pokeballs remaining on the table.

Drako was standing outside Oak's Lab, holding and looking at a Pokeball. He smirked softly, remembering of what he did.

"Too easy!", he whispered, smiling.

He had just stoll a Pokeball from Oak's Lab, without giving anyone inside a notice. But his luck, was about to change, speacilly when he heard out some cries.

"There he is!", a man, dressed up like a researcher, shouted, "The boy who stoll the Pokeball!"

Drako looked behind him, and couldn't believe on what was happening.

"Ohh, man....", he sighed, "Not again!"

As he finished his sentence he started runing the fast he could.

Diana ran in front of the thief.

"Go, Totodile!" Diana commanded, as the crocadile went in front of her.

"Totodile, bite!" Diana yelled, as Totodile bit the thief's hand.

Rikku looked around, He saw a Pokeball with a small yellow thunderbolt on it.

That has to be Pikachu..

Rikku walked over not hesitation and grabbed it, Then walked away slowly.

Rikku then walked outside the door and someone approached him.

"Did you have permission to take that Pokeball?"

"I am proffessor Oak." The man said.

I can take what I want... I waited for this day and I say I have permission...

Rikku looked left and right then hit a straight sprint running left down a long pathway.

When Drako looked back again, the researcher was no longer chasing him. Instead of it, a girl was in front of him, giving a Totodile some commands to attack Drako. The Totodile bit Drako's hand.
Drako looked at the girl, while the Pokemon was sticked to Drako's hand.

"Don't you have something else to do?", Drako aksed, "Like... Challenging Gym Leaders, and all that stuff new trainers do?"

[Realityxxx]

"Listen, Kid," Oak said, "I own this lab!"

Oak threw four pokeballs, each realising a diffrent pokemon.

"Saur!" Said the first.

"Char!" Said the second.

"Tle!" Said the third.

"Pika!" Said the fourth.

"Heh, i'm going to collect ribbons!" Diana said happily.

Drako looked at the girl and approached her smiling.

"I want to collect ribbons, too!", Drako said, smiling, "Do you have any Pokemon?"

He looked at the Totodile, still bitting his hand.

"Besides, this one!"

Drako smiled at the girl, and winked.

"Well... If your Totodile, stops biting my hand...", he said, calmly, "We could have 1 vs 1!"

Drako looked at Totodile, still biting his hand and laughed at him.

Rikku checked behind and Oak was gone, He threw out a Pokeball containing Pikachu and hid away behind some trees.

Hey Pikachu, Im your new trainer!

The Pikachu smiled and hopped onto his shoulder.

"Totodile, stop!" Diana commanded, and the pokemon let go.

Oak climbed up a tree. He managed to see Robin, so Oak Jumped down, only to find his pants stuck on a tree.

Damnit! Oak thought, grabbing his pants and putting them back on. He then climbed up the nearest tree to Robin, and grabbed hold of a vine.

"Hallajua!" He yelled as he was swinging off the vine, right in front of Robin.

As soon as Totodile released Drako's hand, he threw a Pokeball into the air, releasing a Squirtle.

"Thank you!", Drako said, extending his good hand to Diana, "My name is Drako! Nice to meet you..."

Squirtle smiled at the other Pokemon and then looked at his trainer. Drako smiled at his Pokemon.

"I'm Diana." Diana said.

[Phantasm.Angel]

"Peter! Wake up!" Peter's adoptive mom shouted to him up the stairs to his bedroom. "You're going to be too late to get your pokmon."
Peter quickly got up and went to brush his teeth, since he had gone to bed last night wearing his clothes. After he brushed his teeth, Peter went down the stairs two at a time and grabbed a piece of toast on his way out the door. Yelling back through the door he said, "Bye mom."
"Goodbye, don't forget to write." Peter's mom said before her son was gone.
When he got to the lab he quickly selected one of the few pokemon left, a cubone. He then walked out the door and saw a large group of people.

"Just... one more... time..." Justin said as he lifted the pick. Justin had been trying to break this rock for days, and he was determined to finish it off.
"Hrah!" Jusitn yelled as he brought it down upon the rock. The rock shattered, making rock, and strange crystals fly everywhere.
"Finally!" He yelld, "So, this was whats inside? A bunc of jewlery? Eh, its ok, I'll just stash it.
Justin was in a large, dug out hole that he made on the side of a road.

IC: D was running cause he were late for the initiation. He eventually made it to Prof. Oaks house, and he knocked on the door, " Im ready for my first pokemon!!!" he said, "Very, well, come on in." said Oak. They went inside. "All we have left is this Bulbasaur." Oak said, and handed him the pokeball, "Alright! Come on out Bulbasaur!!!" he tossed the ball and the plant pokemon came out, "Bulba?" "Hi there Bulbasaur! Im D, and Im your new trainer!" he said, Bulbasaur jumped with glee, "Bulba, bulba, bulbasaur!!!" he exclaimed, " Alright, lets get going!!!" and the two left Professor Oaks lab finding a bunch of people outside. D went up to them and asked, " Hey guys, whats going on?:

Peter looked at the next person to come out of the lab with a hard look and then looked down at his Cubone. He started to walk away from the group. He walke for about three yards when Cuone slipped on the path. Peter walked back to Cubone and held out his hand to help Cubone up.

Jay looked at her Pokémon, ill name you Nova. The Eevee looked pleased. Jay was so exited, she could barly wait to get started. She then figured that she should thank Prof for Nova, but he wasnt there.

Peter looked at Seth and said, "Get a good pokemon so I can beat it and maybe have a challange." He then gave his friend a cold look.

"I meant to do that!" He got up and ran inside to get his Mudkip.

Not much i got, my stater, Nova, an Eevee, what Pokémon did you get she asked. Her stomac growled again, reminding her of the wwaffles back at home

Peter watched Seth walk into a door and narrowed his eyes and began to walk away. He said to Cubone, "Come on."
Cubone quickly walked to catch up with him. On the way to his house, Peter saw smoke and ran the rest of the way. When he got to the house, Peter saw that it was the house that was on fire. The fireman had extinquished it, but it appeared that they found Peter's adoptive mother's corpse. "No," Peter said to himself. "NO!!"

When Diana finished saying her name, Drako pushed her aside and started running. His Squirtle was following him.

"These losers...", he said, laughing, allong with his Squirtle.

Seth ran inside and grabbed the pokeball. "thanks professer!" Seth ran out of the room.
AHAHAHAHAH!" he laughed.
He walked over to Peter. "Hey what happend?"

"Get away from me!" Peter said savagely. He walked away and sat down in the remains of his house and waited. A fireman tried to get him out of the house, but Peter wouldn't budge.
cubone tried to comfort him, but Peter just ignored him. His lie had been changed forever.

Wanna come over to my place for some Waffles Jay then noticed Peter Oh no what happened Peter, bye she said waving to the Bulbasaur trainer, almost forgotting him, she felt guilty

Suddenly Seth's head fell. When he broguht his head but you could tell that he had changed. His voice was deeper, and he replied to Peter, "You did not just push me away like that did you?.....DID YOU?"

Drako and his Squirtle arrived at a place, where it seemed that a house was burnt. On the ruins of the house there was a guy, with a sad face and another with trying to punch him. Allong with the two, a petty girl was standing.

"Can I help you?", Drako asked, moving towards the trainers.

Jay held Nova, Seth she whispered, hoping he wasnt too upset

Peter ignored Seth and looked at the remains of his house. The oven, melted into slag. The bathroom, destroyed. His own room, burnt to cinders.
Cubone once again tried to comfort Peter, but was ignored again.

Who are you?, Rikku asked seeming a bit nervous from running away from Oak.

Nova looked sad too, her trainer was feeling bad and the Eevee could sense it

Drako looked at the trainer, who looked tired and nervous.

You got your first Pokémon she asked, not wanting to be rude to poor Drako. Seth dont go yet, she shouted to the road the her pal was walking on

"Fine fine." Seth walked over to Peter.
"Dude you cant stay sad just remember all the good times, and atleast you had a mother. I didnt have anyone droped off at a orphanage after I was born then abused to the point that I left that place and Wandering around this world. Ok you atleast you had it good!"

"Of course you don't know me!", Drako said, approaching the tainer and laughing.

His Squirtle run towards the girl. Drako chased him and looked at the girl.

"Squirtle...", Drako shouted.

"At least you didn't have to go through the pain of losing parents not once, but twice." Ryan said. "I'm leaving. Come on Cubone." Cubone and him began to walk down the road.

"Of course your leaving. As am I later people."
Seth walks a different way. "Jay!" he shouted. "You comin?"

"Hi Draco, how are you doing" Jay looked at him carfully, "So what did u start with,...i.i mean whith Pokémon.Jay was a bit nervous due to the events. Eevee looked at Squritle and smiled.

Coming Seth, she said loudly and waved bye to Draco as she joined Seth

Dont you want to earn badges, then the next stop is Viridian city if thats what you wanto do. said Jay quikly, still a little bit nervous. Nova walked, following the kids.

"Oh yea.....hows about Pewter city for the first badge though?"

Ryan overheard them talking and decided to tag along. "Do you mind if I come?" Ryan asked. "I've got nothing left here." Cubone looked uup at Seth and cocked its head to the side.

Oh yeah i forgot, Pewter city has the first gym, not Viridian, said Jay a bit emmbarsed, she had studied the map for an hour in the evening. Well we have to pass that stupid Viridian forest to get there, she turned to Ryan and looked at Seth. I dont have a problem with you comming, said Jay, a bit nervous. Nova simply smiled

Drako and Squirtle stood there, watching everyone, going away. He took something out of his pocket and smiled.

"I think this is enough, for the two if us!", he said, waving a pack of money to Squirtle.

He looked at the trainers who were trying to decide which way to pick.

"Those guys are just...", Drako stoped, and shruged his shoulders, "Newbies!"

"I know! lets go eat!"

If we hurry, we can make it to Viridian by nightfall, remarked Jay, I dont feel like camping out tonight, so wed better get going. Nova nodded

"I agree," Ryan said "I'm not found of the great outdoors and I heard that some pokemon will eat you while you sleep."
Cubone took a deep breath and gulped.
"I'm just kiding," Ryan said to Cubone "but we should still get going."

[Moonlight]

Jay toke out a map, it had all of Kantos main cities. Ill skip lunch to avoid camping said the girl gigling. When we get to Viridian ill treat everyone to Pizza Place.

If we hurry, we can make it to Viridian by nightfall, remarked Jay, I dont feel like camping out tonight, so wed better get going. Nova nodded
"Yeah we could,"TJ said.

"Chic,"Torchic yelled.

"Oh thats right I need to name you how about Flare,"
TJ said.

"Tor,"It yelped again.

"Oh okay how about Blaze,"TJ said.

"Torchic Torchic,"

"Great,"

Jay was still lookng for a nice Pidgey, the 3 other ones she had almost beet ended up flying away. Theyll be so impressed when i come back with a cute Pidgey, and of course a thogher Eevee she added looking at her Pokémon.

"Oh no, oh no" Said Elise running out the door and toward professor Oaks lab. "Oh how could I oversleep today. I knew I shouldn't have stayed up so late. Everyone will have left without me by now."
Frantically she sped up, silently hoping all the pokemon hadn't all been taken.
"Oh I don't care if I get stuck with a ratatta, just please let one be left"
The lab was soon in sight and her heart started beating faster. She didn't see anyone around. Finally reaching her destination she slammed open the doors and scanned the surrounding tables with her eyes. Her heart sank. Not a single pokeball was left sitting on the table. She was too late. Falling to her knees she took it in slowly. She hadn't gotten a pokemon. She could not begin her journey. She sat slowly up against the wall, still not able to accept the fact she would not be able to become a pokemon trainer.
And unknown to her, one pokeball, knocked aside in all the clamor and excitement, had rolled to the back of the room, awaiting its masters arrival.

D was wandering about when he saw a stray Pidgey, " Hey Bulbasaur, ready for a new friend? Ok, use Tackle!" Bulbasaur ran into the bird and bashed him. The Pidgey was recovering from th sudden shock when D said, "Alright, use vine whip!" vines came from the grasse-type pokemon, grabbing Pidgey and slamming him against the ground, " Ok, looks like he's worn out!" He was about to grab the crystal pokeball around his neck, then he changed his mind and reached for a regular ball, and tossed it! It wiggled........and stopped, Pidgey was captured!!! "YEAH!!! We did it Bulbasaur!" and they jumped in glee. D went and grabbed the pokeball, " Heh, a nice addition to the team." and he put it on his belt. They continued forth until they came to a battlefield. In the midst, there was a Cubone and Torchic duking it out, " Hmm....what's this?" He noticed they had Trainers," Ok....?" him and Bulbasaur stood there and watched them battle....

After sitting there for some time she stood, looking around the room one last time, hoping that perhaps there was one pokeball she had missed. Seeing nothing she sighed, then deciding not to let the situation get the best of her began to explore her surrounding. Her eyes stopped at a computer on a nearby desk. Unable to resist, she pulled over a chair and began to look through the computers database. Realizing Professor Oak had forgotten to log out of his e-mail account, she grinned and began to look through his recently sent e-mails. Meanwhile, only a few feet from her right foot, a pokeball began shuddered, was still, then began to shake vigorously. It began randomly rolling around the floor until it knocked suddenly into Elise's feet, making her jump. She watched it in amazement, wondering if she should try and catch it, when it crashed firmly up against the wall. Red light shot out, and before she could get a good look at the emerging pokemon, it yelped and hid behind some boxes stacked across the room. She warily approached it, trying to get a better look. When she began to get nearer to it, it whimpered and tried to hide further behind the boxes, and when it found it could not, it curled itself into a ball and continued whimpering sadly. Elise extended her hand slowly toward the frightened bundle of fur and stroked its head while whispering words of comfort. Finally it uncurled itself and sniffed her hand nervously. It stood and walked out towards her, and she could she that it was a houndour. She reached into her backpack and took out a sandwich she had planned on eating for lunch. The houndours stubby tail began to wag at the smell of food. She smiled and sat beside it, splitting her sandwich in half and offering a piece to the houndour.
"I think I'm gonna call you Rudolph" She said as he started devouring it happily.

Cubone took the bone out of Torchic's mouth and used it to whak Torchic over the head with it.
Blaze jumped back before it could even hit him and then launched it head back at the Cubones stomache with much force and power.

Elise had started training with her houndour only a hour ago, but already it felt like she had been doing it for years. Even though pidgys and ratattas were hardly a fair fight for Rudolph, it would help them both learn the basics of battling. She smiled as Rudolph, before even needed to be told, pounced upon a nearby pidgy. He held it under a paw awaiting her command.
"Ember" She said softly, and flames erupted from his mouth, setting the screeching pidgy ablaze. It fell to the ground and she chuckled to herself. "I could get used to this"

A bit later, but not too late in the day, as she was walking along the path to the first city, she saw in the distance some trainers battling. Or at least the end of a battle.
"Rudolph" She said firmly. He finished off the ratatta he had caught and came back to her side. "Return" She said, and immediately a line of red light emerged from her pokeball, engulfing Rudolph and receding back inside.
She began walking towards the trainers, a smile on her face.

Peter saw the new traier coming towards them and ignored her.
Cubone tugged at his pants to try to get him to say something, but Peter just stared off into the distance.

Elise frowned as she saw that one of the trainers was ignoring her. As she come closer, one of them stepped in her direction and asked if she would like to join them. She considered a moment, then smiling again answered "I suppose so. I could use some company" Then she eyed the pokeball hanging at her waist and said "Anyone care to battle?"

"I would love to battle you." Ryan said coldly. "Go Cubone and crush whatever she sends out."
Cubone walked forward and sighed. Life isn't all about battling

Cubone hit Rudolph over the head with its club."Bite" She command, and before it could retreat Rudolph bit down hard on the arm Cubone held its club in."Now ember"
Flames shot out of Rudolphs mouth, setting ablaze the arm it was holding. "Hold him, don't stop" She said, and flames continued to scorch Cubone.

Cubone passed the bone back and forth between its two hands and then when it was least expected, hit Houndour between the eyes.

The hit surprised Rudolph, and he almost lost his grip on its arm. Elise was expecting this. "Ignore it Rudolph!" She yelled "Hold him. Crush his arm!"
Rudolph tightened his grip and pushed Cubone to the ground, one paw holding his stomach, his razor sharp teeth cutting into its already burned arm.

"Cubone!" Peter shouted "Use your head!"
Cubone broke free of Rudolph's grip and headbutted him, right in the stoumach.

This Elise had not been expecting. Apparently neither had Rudolph. With the blow to the stomach Rudolph let go. "Smog" Elise commanded.
Elise quickly dug into her backpack and pulled out a handkerchief which she hurriedly tied across her mouth. Rudolph opened his mouth, and instead of flames dark poisonish gas flowed out and covered the field until Elise could only just make out the two pokemon. At least Rudolph's efforts hadn't been in vain. As the smog had started rolling in, Elise had seen blood on his teeth.

Elise cursed as the smog was pushed back towards her. Rudolph held his breath in time, but some managed to get through Elise's handkerchief and she coughed a bit. Now that the smog was gone, she could see the condition of Cubones arm. One long piece of burned and ripped flesh, bleeding slightly, it was amazing he could still hold his club in it. But hold it he did, not the slightest indication it was hurting him. His eyes looked determined under his mask. It was admirable. Elise sighed. This was going to be a long battle.
