I've always liked Flygon, and while it's stats aren't as good as Dragonite or Salamence, it's speed is still somewhat respectable--it might be good for UU/BL battles, anyway. So I was thinking:

Flygon @ Choice Specs
Timid, Levitate
252 Sp Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP

Draco Meteor
Flamethrower
Earth Power
???

Not sure about that last move....

I guess that could work. In the last spot you might want dragon pulse so you don't have to kill your sp.attack everytime you use draco meteor. Draco meteor is good for killing off hard to kill pokemon. Dragon pulse is good for late game sweeping.

Earth Power?? What?? I never knew that!!

Oh and Silver Wind might be cool for the last one. Mostly filler really but hey :P

Dragon Pulse sounds good...

Edit: I thought about Silver Wind too, might be fun to spring on a Psychic or Dark type XD To get Earth Power on Flygon, you have to level it up to 67 as a Trapinch, according to Serebii.

OOOO How cool. I love the move Earth Power, special Ground-type, pwnage.

Flygon isn't really good enough to pull off a Specs set. It might confuse people for a moment but its still not great, with bases of 80 Sp. Atk and 100 Spd.

Not even in UU, huh? :ermm:

That's too bad, it's one of my favorites.

Maybe in UU. It's a BL/UU Physical Sweeper with 100/100 bases, it does okay in BL, and has been pretty effective as such in OU when I've tried it. Special? The only thing it will really have is one of the most awesome moves in the game and a huge surprise element. Could work, depends how well you can second-guess and type-match, really.

It's kinda like dugtrio, with only 80 Base attack and a good speed, except Flygon has less speed than that. It can be used. With 100 Base speed, it could outrun a whole lots. I'd go with Dragon Pulse, much like Salamence's Specs set,

Damn the entire Tier system. Why can't pokemon be a bit more balanced :P

I like my Flygon. I might teach him Flamethrower over Steel Wing... That would be fun.

Flygon, OU? 0_o You can't be serious.

Okay, looks like I'll be going with Dragon Pulse. Its movepool is a little... unfortunate

Heh, yeah. At least its definitely COOLER than Salamence.

Silver Wind might be fun, in some circumstances. Dragon Pulse is more of a secure choice though, less that can go wrong.

My brother Hyper Blaze made up SpecsGon a week or 2 back.

Flygon@Choice Specs
I forgot if it was Timid or Modest (252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP)
Draco Meteor
Earth Power
Flamethrower
Dragon Pulse

Much like what everyone else says.

Probably best to go with Timid, make sure it outspeeds a few more pokes.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too.

Sounds like I'll be running Timid with Dragon Pulse, then. Thanks for the input, guys.

I would go with Modest, I like the more power.

Dragon Dance/dragon pulse?

Dragon Dance/dragon pulse?
Flygon doesn't have the defence to pull off D-Dance and survive long enough to make use of it, and even if it did, I'd have to use a different item (Stat moves + Choice items are a major no-no).

Anyways, this is a special set. One speed boost isn't worth a turn, and the attack boost would be useless :-/

I would go:

Flygon @Life Orb
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant/Jolly Nature
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-U-Turn
-Roost

Flygon @Choice Band
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Stone Edge
-U-Turn

Flygon @Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk
Naughty Nature
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-U-Turn
-Draco Meteor

Any of those. ^^

Dude, we are talking about a Specsgon, a Flygon using Choice Specs, ie. Special moves...

Although, that Choice Band set looks nice... I might use Crunch over Stone Edge, but that's just me.

I think that Silver Wind works better, but Physical Flygon is better, and remember the only main thing that Flygon has over other Dragons, resistance to Quake-Edge, use that.

Flygon is most efficient with its Attack power, since it rivals its Speed, and when the Special Attack maximum can't exceed 300, you're going to have a hard time using it for sweeping. Here's mine, personally...I like Flygon, too, but this moveset is only alright:

--Dragon Claw
--Earthquake
--Stone Edge
--U-Turn

Pretty self-explanatory. U-Turn is for when trouble arises...like a Lapras.
