Sign ups are over, you'll need to wait for the next tourney to come along.
This was the sign-up thread (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6284)
++The style++
Participants will battle each other and in all out brawl. What makes this Tournament different is the way the "rounds" happen. Each person has 2 Battle Counters. Every battle you lose, one of your Battle Counters disintegrates. Two losses and you are out. Participants don't gain BC's, you can only lose them. You may battle anyone you want that is in the tournament and wager any amount of BC's on the battle (1 or 2). The tournament will last as long as it does until only one person is left holding Battle Counters.
++The Battle Rules++
2v2
Stadium Rules (if you don't know what this is yet, ask)
no items
Wage increase- Win $2,000. Lose $1,000
Refs- $1,500 per battle.
**Please post all battle results only in this thread. Thanks.
++Requirements++
*YOU MUST BATTLE ON MESSENGER. Not on the forum.
*ABLE TO STAY WITH THE URPG FOR AS LONG AS THIS TOURNAMENT TAKES. Hopefully, with a lot of activity, it won't take long.
++Inactivity++
You must be active. Inactivity will lead to your disqualification unless you notify me beforehand. If you feel the need to not battle just to get to the final four, you will be dropped without warning. I want this tournament to go by smoothly and without trouble.
*If you are having a hard time battling someone, talk to me ASAP.*
++Prizes++
1st place- Whatever you want. a legendary? money? maybe something else? There is a limit to what you can have. What is the limit? Only if you win will you find out.
2nd place- Half of whatever the 1st place winner chooses.
Everyone else- A shiny pin.
also, person whom defeats the most opponents will win $1,000 per win. (5 wins means $5,000)

Tournament Battle One
Phoenix vs Shane
We each bet one Battle Counter.
2 vs 2
Stadium
No Items
Phoenix: Electabuzz, Charizard.
Shane: Tyranitar, Cradily.
Electabuzz Countered a Rockslide which knocked Tyranitar down to low health. Electabuzz then finished off Tyranitar with a Thunderbolt. Cradily was sent and frozen by an Ice punch from Electabuzz. After two more Ice punches Cradily thawed out and used Confuse ray on Electabuzz. Electabuzz was then switched in for Charizard which, after being hit by an Ancient power, finished off Cradily with a Flamethrower!
Phoenix wins and gets $2,500.
Shane loses and gets $1,000 and loses 1 Battle Counter.
Tamer reffed so he will get $1,500 (He told me to post this!).

Here's my 44th reffed battle, which is a tournament battle for the Freeform Tournament...
Marth vs. Hydros
2 vs. 2
Stadium rules
No items
This battle was very quick, as Marth's Blaziken ripped through Hydros's Piloswine and Ampharos with an Overheat and an Earthquake respectively.
Marth: $2500
Hydros: $1000, he also loses 1 Battle Counter

Phoenix vs. Tamer
Tamer used Snorlax, Arcanine.
Phoenix used Heracross, Charizard
It all went quite slowly, Arcanine swaggered both pokemon until Snorlax managed to KO Charizard with a Rock Slide. There was nothing Heracross could do to save itself.
Tamer wins, gets 2,000
Phoenix loses, gets 1,000 and loses a battle chip (*Deletes the chip*)
(Lucky Tamer, again!)
Marth.

2. Stop calling my lucky every time I win due to Confusion, it is part of strategy...as much as your strategy of Paralyzing.

Here's my 47th reffed battle, which is yet another tournament battle for the Freeform Tournament...
Hydros vs. Hariken4
2 vs. 2
Stadium rules
No items
Harison began things with Scizor, whilst Hydros sent out his Ampharos. A decrease in Scizor's speed stat meant trouble for later, as by the time Scizor's Slash and Metal Claw attacks had taken Ampharos down, it was weak enough for (the now faster) Piloswine (owned by Hydros) to finish it off with an Earthquake. Harison's Alakazam then tried to wear Piloswine down with Toxic, but it was easily blown away by a couple of earth-shattering Earthquake attacks. Hydros wins the battle.
Hydros: $2000
Hariken4: $1000, he also loses 1 Battle Counter

Luck is a skill, as I've always said.

Its ok Marth, but it is just simply that with my current experience in URPG and the way I play...you, JT, sometimes Magare and even some n00bs call me lucky n00b which ain't fun anymore >.<

The third tournament battle reffed by me, also happens to be my 50th reffed battle, w00t!!
Tamer San vs. Baron Von Thunderclap
2 vs. 2
Stadium rules
No items
Tamer sent out Crobat, starting the match facing up to Alex's Primeape. A Confuse Ray left Primeape as a huge target for an onslaught of Aerial Ace attacks. Then came Victreebel, which began a trade-off by being confused, whilst still managing to put Crobat to sleep. Crobat was switched for Arcanine, who swiftly took down Victreebel with a powered-up Flamethrower (due to Sunny Day of course, :P), winning Tamer the battle.
Tamer San: $2000
Baron Von Thunderclap: $1000, he also loses 1 Battle Counter

Tourney battle number 4 is reffed battle number 52!
Marth vs. Biozone
2 vs. 2
Stadium rules
No items
Marth started things off with his Alakazam, whilst VT sent Ludicolo. Ludicolo was swiftly switched for Snorlax, who, after a powerful Shadow Ball attack, was left spellbound by a nasty new combo devised by Marth himself (he has asked me to withhold the details). Ludicolo came back out, and after a large array of Hydro Pumps thrown at a recovering, Leech Seeded Alakazam proved ineffective, Ludicolo was given no other option but to be blasted away by two very powerful Psychic attacks. Marth wins the battle.
Marth: $2000
Biozone: $1000, he also loses 1 Battle Counter

Dan's 65th battle to ref was a heated tournament battle between two blazing teams, here goes:
Magare vs. DarkRaichu
2 vs. 2
Stadium rules
No items
Mag began with his Houndoom, facing off against DR's Swampert. Houndoom quickly ran for Mag's Alakazam, which sat there using Recover for a while, before setting up a defense with Reflect. Swampert was worn down slightly, until Zam finally bit the dust. Then came Houndoom, which decided to take advantage of the Sunny Day which was used earlier by firing off a Solarbeam... at a switched in Muk. Muk was soon enough Roared out for Swampert again, which felt the heat from another Solarbeam. Muk came back out, only to be sizzled by a stunning Overheat, winning Mag the match!
Magare: $2000
Dark Raichu: $1000, he also loses 1 Battle Counter

Marth: Kingdra, Alakazam
It was a close call... Kingdra took out Mightyena after a great display of moves from both, then Sceptile finished Kingdra off with a Dragon Claw, and was destroyed by the Torment/Encore combo plus a few Fire Punches. Great match Marth, I really hope we can battle again some time.

Blaziken comes out, Gengar uses Hypnosis, but missed. Blaziken lowers Gengar's speed. Acting first next round, Blaziken uses Mirror Move to Hypnosis Gengar who falls asleep for 7 Turns, Earthquake takes the Battle for Marth.

JT with Jolteon and Mr Mime
LR with Nidoqueen and Lapras
Mr mime is switched in from the off and gets Flattered. He then hurts himself in confusion and saves himself just in time to KO Nidoqueen with the power from Flatter. Lapras finishes off Mr Mime because Mime opted for Toxic instead of Thunderbolt. Jolteon then takes out Lapras with 2 thunderbolts and toxic dmg.
JT wins and gets $2000.

JT vs Alex

Stadium Rules

AIM
JT: Jolteon, Mr. Mime
Alex: Lanturn, Primeape
Alex went with Parafusion, while Jolteon opted for Toxic and Thunderbolt. When set up, Lanturn Surfed while Jolteon kept trying to fight through it's parafusion. In the end, Lanturn fainted Jolteon with Surf, only to be fainted the same turn due to Toxic. Alex then had the harsh luck that can come with Stadium: His Primeape came up against Mr. Mime. Being faster, it still did it's best though. First turn it uses Rock Slide, although Mr. Mime did not flinch. Mr. Mime of course used Psychic. Next turn Alex gambled on Cross Chop. It hit, and was a critical hit too, but it still left Mr. Mime 15% health. The next Psychic brought down the final curtain for Primeape and Alex.
JT wins and receives $2000.
Alex loses and bows out of the tournament, with $1000 in his pockets.
I should get $1500 for reffing.
