Digimon are mythical creatures that live in an alternate world known as the Digi-World. Some believe them to be towering monsters just made of bits of computer data, others think of them as plain animals. But with the help of a handful of children they can become great titans that can surpass any evil, those children are...Digi-Destined!!

The Beginning for Daichi!
The skies over Tokyo, Japan were somewhat musky due to all the cars. One little area in Tokyo however is somewhat peaceful, except for the casual skater about. One of those skaters is on his way home; this is our hero, Daisuke Sugimori. The boy with a sleek, black hair, brown eyes, and a black shirt over his signature pair of blue jeans and black combers.
Hey! My names Daisuke Sugimori, but I preferred to be called Dai for short. Well I just finished recording some skating shots and I’m heading home. Today’s the last day of summer, I always hated when summer ends but this year is different. Tomorrow I’ll be an eighth grader which means I’ll be at the top of the food chain of middle school. I can’t wait!
Dai reaches the corner of the park and flips the board up to his right palm and places his left fist on the button for the street light. He looks over to his right to find an elderly man with long, bushy, white eyebrows and a bushy mustache as well on a wooden box hovering over a few small kids. Dai could make out a few things of what he said,
“That’s right kids, Digimon are real. Their magical creatures that live in the Digital World and protect us. There were a few kids who actually got to meet Digimon; they were called the Digi-Destined.” The man told the kids, the children with wide attentive eyes. Dai scoffed and walked over,
“You know you should really stop filling these kid’s heads with nonsense.” He firmly stood over the man. The man smiled,
“This isn’t nonsense. I’m telling them the truth. And if I’m not mistaken the first Digi-destined were somewhere around your age young man.” The elderly man chuckled slightly. Dai scoffed,
“Whatever.” He dropped his skateboard and rode off down the street.
“Hmmm. That boy…yes.” The elderly man whispered to himself.
~~~~
The full moon hung in the night sky like a frosty disk gazing down at the earth, a glowing computer screen gave off a blue hue in Dai’s dark room as he worked on a skating video,
“Done!” Dai smiled as he looked at his finished video. He looked up at the clock and did a double take,
“Eleven ‘o’ clock?! WOW! Better beat it.” Dai shut off his computer and un-dressed. He placed himself on his white mattress and pulled red sheets over him and he drifted to sleep.
~~~~
It was morning and sun began rising from behind the town buildings. Dai yawned as his alarm clock blared, thrusting at Dai’s ears like a physical blow,
“Alright, alright, I get it.” Dai pounded the clock that read 6 ‘o’ clock. Ty walked over to his closet and put his hand on his chin,
“Hmm. What to wear… I know!” Dai dove into his closet and came out with a white, short-sleeved dress shirt over a black shirt with a loose black tie, some cuffed, slim blue jeans and his signature black combers.
“There ‘ya go! Now to go brush!” Dai hopped over to his bathroom and came out a few minutes later. He grabbed his black school bag and ran out his bedroom door and ran down the steps two at a time.
He reached downstairs and sat down at the table,
“Did you get a good night’s rest honey?” His mother asked, she was a pretty woman with long, chocolate brown hair and bright amber eyes. She wore an orange dress and a white sweater,
“Ummm, yeah mom!” Dai fibbed through a mouth-full of toast. He turned to his television screen,
“There have been weather changes around the world leaving scientists baffled. It’s scorching hot in Moscow, Floods in Central America, and freezing cold in America-“
Dai held the remote with his thumb on the power button. He scoffed,
“Weather, who cares. Well I gotta go mom!” Dai pecked his mom on the cheek and ran for the door. As he passed a doorway a small girl walked towards the kitchen,
“Bye Dai!” The young girl said drowsily. She was a petit girl with sleek black hair down to her shoulder a yellow and pink pajamas on.
“Bye Sophie!” Dai ran out the door.
