If Cyntheia and Ash battle it'll be obvious that Ash will suffer a painful defeat. I mean if Ash can't win a champpionship what will poesses him to think thatt he can beat the champion of all those competitions CYntheia.

i not convinced ash would lose but then again i not convinced he would win either, if he were the trainer we saw in the advanced generation and battle frontier, he was getting better but then again he hasn't got further than the last eight yet so it probably be a tight match and ash with his current ability as a trainer and his current team would suffer a painful defeat.

yeah, i agree w/ RocketMeowth.... there definitely is a pattern (get some new script writers jeez =P)

and all of you that say, "Oh, Pikachu is so good & awesome." that is like really not true... Pikachu seems to get reset on all of the seasons.... think of the easy battles he has lost...

i dont see why most says he doesnt train them anymore etc... becouse they are at oak or some1 else but the pokemons at oak gets trained to and charizard gets trained by that girl too so they become stronger and beside that ash probly wont battle before he is sure he makes a chance and since the season isnt planning to finish over a phew episodes he can meet stronger pokemons and catch them probly

but if we are going base the pokemon of Cynthia out of the D/P games then i should think this would happen:

Pickachu+Sceptile can kill milotic
Glalie can kill garchomp

Spiritomb would be then the only problem but with strong and direct hit attacks aslong they arent fighting/normal/psychic attacks he will be able to kill it to

but yeah you dont always give a direct hit so the chance of that is to low but he will make chance after its time to fight Cynthia and maby he wins but if he fights Cynthia now i dont think he will win

edit: He didnt maby win the leagues but he winned the BF and those are probly stronger then the trainers in the leagues
