I just viewed episode 518. I won't spoil too much of it, but it seems like Paul just RELEASED Chimchar! What a bastard that Paul is, makes the heel wrestlers look great eh? Anyway, I saw by the end that Ash made an offer for Chimchar to join the team! Man, is Ash going to have TWO starters on the team?

Man, is that going to be Ash's next Pokemon, he gets Paul's Chimchar?!:eek:

Of course, why would Hikari want two Water-type Pokemon, when it's obvious that Buizel would be better at battling while Aipom has always seemed more into contests? A bit of a lag if Satoshi only gets two of the starter Pokemon, it'd have been interesting to see him get all three like in the first season.

Well it seems that Dawn has 2 water Pokemon, so maybe the buizel was meant to be Ash's and not Dawn's. Aipom does seem primed for contests, but Ash is for gym battles and Dawn is the one for contests...though I don't know why Ash can't do both. Maybe around Ash, Buizel might be more obedient since Dawn doesn't have badges obviously.

And Dawn's not a mean spirited girl if she wants to do a trade with Ash. Dawn is still cool.

I saw the season 2 picture on Serebii I believe, and it does has Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup pictured together. I think Japan has gone into season 2 of DP because the ending theme is very different now with a CHristmas type music. I also saw the episode just now on 'another site' that I can't mention for it violates forum rules, but it was good to see Chimchar will be well cared for. Paul was such a twit, I hope he gets his if they have Mars and Jupiter beat up his Pokemon.

I hope Ash could get Piplup as well.. don't you think starters should belong to the hero?? like they are strong and stuff...it kinda disappoints me when May got Torchic and Ash got Treecko..Treecko is storng..and so is Torchic...

Also, i hope that Ash could train and evolve all of his starter Pokemon, like Squirtle, Bulbasaur (asking him again whether he wanted to evovle), Cyndaquil, Totodile, Bayleef...etc!

I actually agree because from my observations, Buizel seems to like to fight (my name is Buizel, and I like to fight), and Aipom seems interested in contests. Plus if Ash has Chimchar, it doesn't quite make sense to have 2 monkeys on the team and for Dawn to have 2 water types on the team (Piplup/Buizel). Paul is a poor excuse for a miserable trainer that needs a nightly butt kicking from us viewers and his Pokemon. I hope Ash does get Infernape and takes Torterra down.

I still got hope that Team Galactic will reveal themselves and give Paul's team a beating like Champion Cynthia. It's always the silent teams (Saturn not talking) that makes them dangerous.

i doubt that ash will trade aipom. i mean aipom likes contests but he is really good in battle. he helped ash in his first 2 sinnoh gym battles he beat Roarks geodude and Gardenia's roserade and dawn is just getting to know buizel(she might have the same thing with buizel that ash had with charizard) but thats just my opinion
does anyone know for sure that theyre going to trade? if u do post the site please

Serebii's been posting pictures one day after the Japan showing of Pokemon (Fridays), there could be something with this week's episode.

We're only a football season behind Japan's showing, just 16 weeks so what Japan shows, we may get in 16 weeks provided that CN doesn't repeat.
