Pokemon tv series to blame? Share veiws plz

How often do you find people who think that the pokemon theme tune from the first series is the actual theme tune for pokemon overall, and that most people I come across have judged pokemon on the TV series and dismissed it? Were I am everyone based pokemon on the TV series cause it was easier than gettin the games and therfore hated it for being average and samey (who can blame em the only good bits are the battles) with its "Oh no! A poor injured pokemon we have to help it" "go pidjeoto save weedle from falling of the tree and hurting itself!" And that was how it went, many thought it was wimpy. Oh and the fact pikachu always uses thunderbolt and wins. The best bit is the indigo plateau and thats it really. It is probably to blame for many peoples loathing of pokemon.

Well, we can't just tell people to like Pokemon if they hate it..but seriously, even though this anime has a lot of mysteries and problems in it..i think this is how it made Pokemon special...having a obvious ending without any mysteries is boring...like having soo many msyterious in Pokemon is one of the factor that made Pokemon HOT even till now!:biggrin:

well i hate how they make the game different from the show i.e. pokemon league and contest,gym battles

Erm... But it does have an obvious ending with no mysteries. Ash wins and Team rocket blasts off again.

All my friends used to watch the TV series, when evventually we got really fed up and hated pokemon in general, D&P has brought them back to there senses.
