I like taking orginal pokemon pictures. (I got them off this site) and changing the colours. Not shiney, but different. I did NOT draw these, I'm not saying I did. The pictures are from the resources on this site. I shimply used phtoshop to change the colours.

Ok, first things first, don't ever sprite with Anime Pictures. OR Sugamori. It's just grotesque. Second, this goes in the Sprites Section. Third, you really want to use a sprite. Check the spriting tutorials for a lovely guide. ^_^. Finally, it's nice to see a new and enthusiastic spriter.

I always thought you used anime & sugimori to recolor or pixel over those. And it is in the Graphics section. You mean the Sprite Section. Um...and why does she need a sprite?

Whoops, I meant Sprites. And you really shouldn't use Sugamori. Only for pixel overs. Maybe for fakemon sugamori, but still. Try the Sprite Section, and use these instead.

So what do you think of them?

I guess they're cool. A few pixels are white, but that's ok. I guess. Really, get used to using SPRITES. I can't really comment on those.

Theyre very good for beginner sprites. You should try using the paint program to fine tune the sprites in your first post. Remember to recolor at every or almost every pixel, otherwise, bits of the old Pokemon show through(such as your vulpix, it has oranges still showing around the edge of it's stomach).

Here are some examples of the recolors I've done using paint.Note how I recolored almost every pixel, and I made sure very few bits of the old sprite showed through.

*ahem* Sorry, but I'm pretty sure that what Dragonblade meant to do was recolor those sugamori pics, and not[I] sprites. Just because they're recolors, doesn't mean they [I]have to be sprites, right? It would probably be best not to assume.

As for what I think of the recolors, Dragonblade, they're very nice. A few pixels weren't shaded correctly, but other than that, very nice ^^.

I don't know why everyone is reffering to them as sprites. She never said they were, just that she likes recoloring the pictures.

On topic, however. I do like them, though the Eevee just looks...off. I think the color of the eyes would be a major part, especially just being one shade. The others are good, though there are a few spots that weren't recolored, and show the original colors. You might have to go back and color those by hand.

I do like the Ninetales a lot though, she looks cool. :3

Yeah, it's not spriting and it's in the right place. However, I'm assuming she is going to make this a gallery...? If not, these belong in the digital showcase.

Either way, just because she used the term "recolor" does not mean that she is referring to sprites. She didn't use sprites, so it should not be in the sprite section. Editing sugmori / anime pictures is fine if you use the right program.

As for commenting on the artwork, I suggest you up the threshold a bit. There are a few pixels of the original colors around the edges of the art, and in other places. For example, Lapras has a blue spot above its eye. The Ninetails / Vulpix seems too dark, but it may just be my screwed up monitor contrast.

Interesting concept. It would be cool to see them with patterns and such. :]
