The absolute funniest act i ever saw had me LoLing for the entire final 10 minutes and by the time he said the final punchline after that amazing build- up, i wasn't even breathing. Picture yourself rolling around on the floor just sort of heaving back and forth with your legs brought right up to your chest.

Robert Schimmel(sp). I only saw the one act but i'm going to go ahead and assume he's that funny every time. Nobody can be that good just once...

Dave Chappel is awesome and although i've never seen Dane Cook's stand- up, i've seen many interviews where he said some of the funniest stuff ever. Chupakabras and all that.

12-26-2007, 05:50 PM
I'm a Bill Engvall lover. x3

12-26-2007, 06:12 PM
Jeremy Mansfield, a South African comedian. Very controversial but sooo funny!

Your mom is my favorite comedian!

12-26-2007, 08:39 PM
George Lopez is good in "George Lopez". :P

You silly boy, all he does is read scripts. Shame on you for laughing at his pathetic acting abilities.

I would have to say Dane Cook.

12-26-2007, 08:51 PM
... Wheres the love for Chris Rock? That guy is hilarious. PM me if you want to see a YouTube video of one of his acts; I don't know if it is appropriate to post.

12-26-2007, 09:38 PM
Carlos Mencia. The dude isn't afraid to speak his mind and use racial jokes, all that I find funny.

Or Dane Cook, since the man is a freaking genius.

Oh no no Kool Aid.

12-26-2007, 09:42 PM
Mitch Hedberg (RIP) and Jim Gaffigan. :]

12-26-2007, 09:48 PM
Mitch Hedburg, by far.

Shouldn't this be in the entertainment section =/?

12-26-2007, 10:52 PM
Larry The Cable Guy and George Lopez for sure!

12-27-2007, 12:01 AM
Jeff Foxworthy, Dane Cook, and Bill Engval have to be top for me. I love so many comedians that it's hard to pick only my top three!

12-27-2007, 12:41 AM
My favourite one would be Ellen DeGeneres, although I haven't watched her much lately

12-27-2007, 01:17 AM

I am truy a fan of Craig Ferguson.

12-28-2007, 02:01 AM

Dane Cook and Peter Heliur

01-12-2008, 03:53 AM
I like Bruce Bruce, jeremy hotz and the old stuff of Bill Cosby.

01-12-2008, 04:02 AM
I don't like a lot of the Comedy Central punks nowadays. Carlos Mencia and the gang need some comedy routines.

Despite sounding hypocritical, I do like Blue Collar Comedy, and George Lopez.

01-12-2008, 05:03 AM
Dave Chapell, Chris Rock, and Kat Williams.

Dancing Mad

01-17-2008, 01:23 PM
Jeff Dunham + Walter is classic. I could watch the same act over and over again and still laugh my face off every time.

01-18-2008, 05:24 AM
Wow.. I think I like Jon Pinette now. I thought he was just an actor playing the neighbor from The Punisher (Tom Jane, John Travolta).

"Get out of the Liiiine!"

01-19-2008, 09:22 PM
I use to be big in to comedians... not so much anymore. Too much dane cook and Carlos mencia.
The ones i love are these ones...
The late incredibly great Mitch Hedberg - http://youtube.com/watch?v=uSrj19709Ws (note: that ones got some language in it just to let you know.
Zach Galifanakis - http://youtube.com/watch?v=VpTiRd1YV7g
Pablo Francisco - http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZPBvFXf9Q2U
Josh Sneed - http://youtube.com/watch?v=kQVIcbH2NeU (kind of matureish)
Denis Leary - http://youtube.com/watch?v=Kkg0WLj7TJ8 very mature..lol
Bob Saget - http://youtube.com/watch?v=10eGCsPiEH8 (note: not for kids...haha.)
Little Jimmy Norton - http://youtube.com/watch?v=q-K6pjNjjL0 Note: also no for kids. Jimmy is probably my favorite, i've seen him 3 times and nearly passed out laughing. not to mention his book is awesome.

I think thats all i can think of, i know im missing more... Oh Dave Attell is awesome.

01-19-2008, 09:38 PM

Agreed. Carlos Mencia steals material too much for me to be into him. Perhaps if he performed them better than the original tellers I wouldn't mind as much, but he kind of ruins them. :/

I will and forever will be a man of the late, great Chris Farley. He really was one of the funniest things I had ever watched. If you can get the Best of Chris Farley SNL, do so. It is simply hilarious.

01-20-2008, 02:02 AM

Neo Emolga
07-07-2008, 11:15 PM
Dane Cook, of course, and I like Brian Regan. His stand up is pretty funny as well.

07-07-2008, 11:20 PM
Dane Cook, of course, and I like Brian Regan. His stand up is pretty funny as well.

Yes. Both of those guys are very good.

My favorites are Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, who do a team sketch comedy thing. They do a good Harry Potter parody--I'm sure you can find it on YouTube if you search, and I highly recommend it.

By the way, I also dislike Mencia. Ugh! He's simply not funny. I don't even crack a smile when watching him.

I'm not sure why Dane Cook is funny.

Because he rippede off many a joke from past comedians.

But, my favorite comedians are George Carlin, Ron White and Lewis Black.

07-23-2008, 01:41 AM

08-07-2008, 09:38 PM
I love the Filipino comedian Rex Naverette.

Not for that I'm filipino too but that he's so funny especially when he connects things we know to his comedy acts.

George Jefferson
08-08-2008, 04:27 PM
I have no reason to believe that Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia are original.

08-09-2008, 06:28 PM
Russel Peters is pure genius, and Jeff Dunham is what all ventriloquists should aim at. But if you're looking at true-blue comedy, and sheer laugh-out-loud material, Rowan Atkinson tops the charts. And I'm talking about when he speaks as well. Mr Bean was all good, but Atkinson delivers his lines so well, that just hearing him talk makes you burst out laughing.

08-15-2008, 06:50 AM
Brian Regan for the epic win. His material isn't quite as funny as other comedians, but the way he delivers it is totally outrageous and brilliant; his acting is really great. Also, he's almost completely clean -- his worst curse word is hell -- so he gets more points for not using shock value as his crutch.

08-21-2008, 01:08 AM
Will Farrell , Eddie Murphy , Will smith , Ben Stiller , Martian Lowrance , Owen Wilson , Adam Sandler .

My two favorite are George Carlin and George Lopez. I enjoy many others though.

11-15-2008, 10:29 AM
Aaah, I'm British. So, Peter Kay is utterly for-the-win.

;D (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MJr9ekTf0xc)

British humour and references, but hey. We all feel the same when you dip a biscuit in a cup of tea and it breaks. It's traumatising.
