Gym Tournament - First Round

-First round beings on December 27th and lasts until January 9th.

-Battles for this round will be 3 vs 3, Revolution, no items, sleep clause, normal terrain, hold items optional. Freeze clause is optional. Winner gets 2000, loser gets 1000, refs get 2000.

-Refs will post the outcomes here. Payment to refs will be done after each round, not after the tournament.

Fenix took Ampharos down with Gengar, switched out into Snorlax and set up to kill Electivire, but his run got cut sort by some par rolls, Salamence came in to finish Jotleon off.

Kingdra did all of it because it got a flinch roll on Tyranitar. Dragon Dance x1 + Sub against Claydol. 2HKO'd everything.

Medicham set up one bulk up, PL switched garchomp in, Medicham proceeded to OHKO Garchomp, 2HKO Dactyl and, hm... 1/8HKO Tyranitar. Reversal did around 400% damage

Sunnyshore Gym (Leman) vs. Canalave Gym (Canis Lupus)

Leman with Electivire, Raichu, Lanturn.
Canis Lupus with Bronzong, Probopass, Metagross.

A pretty intense and balanced battle, Electivire managed to dodge an hypnosis to connect a firepunch on bronzong before finally falling asleep. Raichu KO'd it, and Probopass came in to deal good damage with Earth Power. Another switch and now Lanturn has his luck tested with a failed hydro pump and a CH Stone Edge. Metagross KO's both Lanturn and Raichu, and Electivire woke up fast in time to finish the job.

Leman wins, gets 2000, advances to next round.
Canis loses, gets 1000, and a participation badge.

RM - Snorlax, PorygonZ, Swellow

Arcanine got down to low HP and had +1Atk and Spd in order to Reversal and Flare Blitz. Snorlax was forced in after Infernape Mach Punched Swellow. Close Combat got the win!

Due to uneven timezone pairing for more than one match of the tournament, I have agreed with them to strecth the limit three days, to the 12 of January, for the first round.

Azalea Gym (Gun6) vs. Sootopolis Gym (Husnain)

Gun6 with Ninjask, Heracross, Kabutops.
Husnain with Tentacruel, Floatzel, Starmie.

Ninjask baton passed spd+2 to Heracross, not before taking 50% damage. Hera got confused once but manage to 2HKO Kabutops. Floatzel Rain danced and bulked up and KO'd Hera. Then Kabutops finished Floatzel, did some damage to Starmie which fell to a X-scissor from Ninjask.

Gun wins, gets 2000, advances to next round.
Husnain loses, gets 1000.
