Lately I've been unable to connect to MSN as it gives me the "Error Code: 80072efd", and on the website it says that usually comes up when MSN servers are down; is anyone else having trouble connecting?

I've tried clicking the "Repair" button but that tells me there is a problem with the "Key Ports", and the information on how to fix it says it's most likely a problem with Proxy/Firewall settings. I've tried disabling my Firewall, and configuring it so MSN is allowed; but it still won't connect.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How exactly do you fix it?

My MSN is working fine, try refreshing the page, or connecting manually.

This might help!

I'm having a problem too, mine is that I can't see any emoticons anymore, I used to be able to, but now I can't, anyone have any clues on how to solve it?

Mine did that when I used a different computer. But now I'm on my main one, I can!

Nope, messing with the Connection settings didn't help. It lists the error as something to do with my Firewall/Proxy settings, yet when I turn both off; it still brings up the error. =/

Not very helpful, this whole troubleshoot thing I mean. =/
