what do you think the best place to train is? because i end up training in victory road, which is rubbish.
Without a vs. seeker in this game its hard to train.

Train by battling the e four. Give an exp. share to the pokemonyou train, and battle with another pokemon.

Really? I'm finding that quite preposterous. Of course you lose money, the same goes for any other Pokemon game. The only time you don't, is the first battle in, F/R, or R/B/Y. But yeah, E4 is probably the best place.

Full Restores, Revives, Hyper Potions, Soda Pops, Full Heals/Lava Cookies, balls (mainly Ultras) and Super Repels mainly. You can also buy coins in Game Corner and buy good TMs with them. If playing Emerald, you can get the money back easily by duplicating Nuggets, Star Pieces, drugs, etc and selling them. I trained my six Pokémon in Vict. Road from mid-40's to about 50's, didn't take too long.
yup the elite 4 is the best placeto train just buy hyper potions and revives to make sure you don't die if you use a amulet coin you'll make money.

I train in the cave where you find Mewtwo. The E4 and all other trainers are boring, because they talk too much. I want as many battles as possible during a short time, that why I use my bicycle when I train in the wild.

All you have to do is use the duplicating glitch with a Nugget or Rare Candy if you have one.
Use the Rare Candy for Lvl. gainage and the Nuggets for $ to buy Full Restores, Full Heals and Revives.
Then use the EXP. Share and go against the Elite 4. To train the weak one...
Thats pretty much all you need.

You know, that the Sky Pilliar has higher level Pokemon than Victory Road
But E 4 is better anyways, so train there
If you want to waste money, play at the Game Corner

That cave is in fire red leaf green. And in r/s/e, when you lose the battle, you do NOT lose money. Try it...

Well, these are the best ideal training places:
Secret Bases (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) -Well, you know how this works. Once you mix records with another R/S/E cartridge, you can access their Secret Base and battle them once you've beaten the Elite 4. That means you can battle any Pokemon, at any level.
Sky Pillar (Ruby/Sapphire) -These Pokemon are around Lv46-56. Don't train there in Emerald, because the Pokemon are Lv36-46.
Elite 4 (Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald) -In R/S/E, the Pokemon range is 46-58. In FR/LG, the range is 51-63. Also in FR/LG, once you're able to trade Pokemon with R/S/E, then the Elite 4 becomes stronger with Pokemon at Lv63-75.
Seven Island (FireRed/LeafGreen) -All of these trainers on the whole island have Pokemon with a basic range of Lv52-57. Use the VS Seeker to re-battle and get lots of .exp + money.
Kindle Road (FireRed/LeafGreen) -Go to the area where all those Karate people are. After you beat the Elite 4, their Pokemon become a lot stronger, so just use your VS Seeker to re-battle them. Need to heal? Just walk into the Hot Springs.
Cerulean Cave (FireRed/LeafGreen) -These Pokemon range from Lv46-68.
Battle Frontier (Emerald) -Clone Pokemon/Items. Clone Rare Candies. Duh.

Lol, as if. I have 11 lv 100s
Actually you indeed do lose exactly half of your money but this was tested in Emerald not R/S.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I've been losing money when I lose in ruby. Maybe I'm just imagining it though, I have a poor memory and I haven't lost in a while.
Also, I find the best way to train before you've beaten the elite four is a combination of:
Victory Rd./Trick House/Trainer's Eyes

*sigh* Yes, I'm sure, you just black out, and end up in front of the pokemon center. Only in fire red or leaf green do you lose money, because they were remakes of r/b/y.

Just tried losing in Emerald an I lost half of my money, and I knew that already. In FRLG you lose just a little amount of money, but in RSE you lose half of it. Can't confirm RS, so don't whine about me being wrong.

Yup, it sucks. It almost makes you to cheat by soft reset, when losing a battle. In FR/LG is much easier to train in E4, because you lose such a small amount of money.

well obviously E4 but I like spawning trainers/gym leaders much more fun and helpful, I like pokenav more than VS seeker also having them both is good, Pokenav in you Poketch for main characters and VS seeker for trainers(for D/p's remake)

You don't get exp. there, so it's not really training, just battling.
