View Full Version : An Elite Defeated

Elite Four Chris just lost a battle to his first challenger, Marth.

Marth led a strong battle, gaining advantages through numerous switches and well-timed predictions. The Pokemon that served as his comrads in battle were Tyranitar, Swampert, Miltank, Starmie, Lucario, and of course, Alakazam.

Chris fought just as hard, and proved to be very effective with his trusted Exeggutor. His other teammates included a very valiant Crobat, as well as Charizard, Snorlax, Gengar, and Starmie.

Although he did not knock out any of Marth's Pokemon, at the end of the battle, all of them were severely damaged, inflicted with a status condition, or both. It could have went either way at many points.

It was a long and arduous battle, but congratulations to both!

Isn't this like your 3rd elite you kicked, Marth?
One more to go then.

If not, good job.

A very good game Marth! I learnt alot from our battle, and especially my handling skills over my Exeggutor. Even though I lost 6-0 I still tried my best as a URPGer to win, but failed. It's just Marth had a better strategy, which worked very well. He loves Evasion everybody! [/Lies] lol

Thanks for reffing Fenix!

Good job, Marth. This is more proof to my theory: Marth is great.

Flattery is well and alive in this young boy. =P

Nice going, Marth! ^^

Of course, wouldn't expect anything else from a fellow Mexican.

Grats Marth on your win.

Wish I could've been there to see the battle.

Congrats kakashi-sensei! I've more to learn from you.

I appreciate all the comments guys... I can't say it was an easy fight. There was so much luck involved (ugh for evasion), anyone could have won when Exeggutor and Tyranitar were on the field. Props to Young Link for making me shake from the very beginning of the fight.
Fenix, you are next.

DU: I think I defeated Tamer and someone else already... but don't I have to defeat all the current elites before claiming the Champion position?

Alright Marth! Way to go dude. I feel kind of like I need to beat you again now. Heh. Well, enjoy your victory, you deserve it!

Don't be a kiss ass.

Congrats to Marth and to Chris, I'm sure it would have been an amazing battle to watch. I'm envious of Fenix because she got to ref it, I'm sure it would have been awesome to. =D (Well, if you're like me and love reffing amazing battles. =P)

Nice going. This coming from a guy with only two Pokemon.

*Blows off dust*
Found the link from when I defeated Tamer. That makes it 2 down, 2 to go (Fenix and Mike, I guess).
Don't feel bad ball, but I've fought 6 vs 6's so many times against you already, I'd rather have something fresh against Fenix and Mike. Specially Mike.

I did saw only a little bit of the battle(the Exeggutor VS T-tar part), at that part it didn't look like it would end 6-0... anyways, Congratulations Marth.

And no, I wont fell bad, since I also need to defeat 2 elites, which I am planning to get to... sometimes soon.

I guess it had to happen. Seems it was a nice battle to watch. After all, two psycho guys battling. What did you expect?

Congtratulation to Raoul(do I remember your name right?) for the winning and to Chris for learning something from an old staple of URPG like Marth... not that he's that new either, through
