After discussing the issue of temporary and permanent bans, the URPG mods have come to the conclusion that there is no distinction between permanent and temporary forum bans tied to an URPG ban.
That means, whether temporary or not, if you are banned of PE2K, you are banned from the URPG and any activities you are currently involved.

Marth I already showed this to you..

dismssngrsux (1:51:04 AM): you're allowed to particiapte in the urpg while temp banned from the forum

Now.. Did you ask Jack about that? Or did you guys just decide it without asking him?

Do you really think I have such a low memory to have forgotten that message? You clearly underestimate me; that's disappointing.
Jack and us mods have decided to change that statement. Forum ban means URPG ban, no matter the time.

I can see how that works out, but my question is, why didn't you guys think of that sooner? Not to be disrespectful to all the brilliant mods we have, but didn't idea seem adequte? If you ask me, I would've put that into the first ever rules, but whatever.

To be honest, there was some confusion about it.
When Jack announced the forum ban = URPG ban rule, he did not make a distinction between both types of bands. Then he told two banned members they could URPG as long as it was a temporary ban.
But now that it was discussed the majority have decided to not make a distinction in the URPG part, and thus came this clarifying announcement.

Ah. I see. Well, thanks for explaining that one.

I wish I had known that you could participate in URPG when I was Temp banned. :/

If you had done that, this issue had probably come up back then. The confusion about it was always there.

@ LS: When we say URPG mods, we mean URPG mods. And if you haven't noticed, Jack is one of them.

Still, something tells me this issue MAY come up again in the future. Maybe not now, but it might.

Maybe, but now we have a clear rule about it so it wouldn't matter.
