Well, recently on Emerald I completed the Hoenn Pokedex a second time, after lots of trading between my Ruby, LeafGreen, and Emerald version. Currently saved onto my Ruby version is a lot of Pokemon that are rather uneasy to obtain, like Crobat, Milotic, and especially Chikorita and Cyndaquil. My Chikorita and Cyndaquil were both on my Emerald version, and I would like to start over to get Totodile.

Here's pictures of Chikorita & Cyndaquil:
Chikorita (http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/6994/p1010329uc1.jpg)
Cyndaquil (http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/1194/p1010330ig0.jpg)
(The reason why these pics were taken on Ruby version is because I traded them from Emerald to start over)

Anyways, I would like to start over on Emerald, but I want to complete it much faster. Why? Because to get Chikorita & Cyndaquil, it went like this:
May 2007 -Started Emerald save file.
July 2007 -Obtained Chikorita.
August 2007 -Starter over Emerald file.
September/October 2007 -Didn't play Emerald at all.
November 2007 -Barely played Emerald.
January 2008 -Obtained Cyndaquil.

So to get Chikorita and Cyndaquil, it took me from May 2007 all the way to January 2008. That's pretty long, so I'm wondering whats the fastest way to get to the Elite 4 on Emerald? Also, I have the Lucky Egg on LeafGreen if that would help.

I WANT TOTODILE!!!!!

Trade all of your pokemon in emerald to R or LG, start a new game on E, then transfer all of the pokemon you had traded to R or LF back to emerald.

to trade use cheap lvl 2 poochyena

Am i a genius or what? 8)

That won't work, because the Pokemon won't obey me until I have like, 6 Badges.

It's really easy dude-If you spend your time right you'll have lvl 80's to kill the E4 in less than 24 hours thats quickrun but if you really hate playing the game just have lvl 60's and face the E4-or depends on the pokes so say:
after 1st gym:lvl 10
2nd gym:lvl 20
3rd gym:lvl30
4th gym:40's
5th: 50's
etc....
so after every gym just trade in those crap-and you should have a flyer especially just in case

I can naturally beat the game in 25-30 hours. Most speed runs take 3-8 hours, not 24.

It's true, you can go through it easily. I took 13 hours. It's just that when you get the second badge, trade in lv 25-29 Pokemon. After 6th, trade in lv 44-49 and after 7th, trade in lv 65-69. Then you can finish the game easily

13 hours is a little too much...

I'm looking for a way to beat the game in 3-8 hours, because thats what most speed runs are. Trading Pokemon would take too much extra time. Seriously, I beat Pokemon Blue in 3:07.

If trading would take extra time, imagine training them.It would take WAAAAY more time.what do you sugest if your not trading nor training?GS?cmon, use your brains!!!In this time that youre in the forums you could already have beaten the game!!

Why don't you trade the Emerald Pokémon to FRLG and level up with the E4? Traded Pokémon level up much faster because they receive more Exp, and FRLG E4 gives more Exp than RSE E4. After they have leveled up in considerable amount, trade them back to Emerald and sweep the game.

NO don't try to speed run your a cheapass trying to ruin this game
also speed runs usually end up with an hour being killed in E4
and you need like a thousand max revives
