I believe Nosepass is only found by using Rock Smash on boulders, so walking around won't do anything if that's all you're doing.

Nosepass eh? >_> Good luck with raising a good one then ^_^ *Doesn't like the evil, bad stats, worse movepool getting Pass.* I'll stick with Tyraintar thanks ^_^ Did I just spam? O_O Eerrr...yes, you need to RS to get them, but I think they're a bit rare. Mostly you'll find Geodudes -_-...I swear I think they stalk me...

And yes, they are rare, so it takes patience (Especially having to leave and re-enter a floor to replace all boulders once they're all smashed).

Good point on the PokeDex thing.

I thought they took out the stat-breeding thing in R/S? Otherwise, though you can breed good moves onto Pass, it still wouldn't have the stats to back them. Now, if you CAN still breed stats, then I SERIOUSLY need to replay Ruby and breed more Mon, and do a bit of breeding in FR for that matter.

ya, u can still breed moves and stats. Plus, if u breed a shiny, there is an increased chance of a shiny egg, i heard.

I'm not sure on breeding stats, as I'm not an expert breeder, but I do hear that hatched Pokemon generally have better IVs than wild Pokemon, so that, along with breeding moves (And passing down TM moves that have been used up) makes breeding a better option than merely catching a new Pokemon.

Anyway, best not get off topic. This thread's about Nosepass, not breeding.

EDIT: Breeding a shiny does not increase chances of hatching one. Most likely, GAME FREAK wanted to add more realism, so the Shinies "gene defect" isn't hereditary.

Actually, breeding two shiny parents doesn't increase the chance of your getting a shiny baby. It's all to do with luck ^_^ Wow if I say that one more time I'll die lol.

As for stat breeding, that means one thing...Bred T-Tar...whoooo! :goofy: ^_^ *Skips off to breed some T-Tar.*

EDIT: Sorry, your post posted before my post...>_> lol. I'll ask this somewhere else ^_^
