Trainers from far and wide, welcome! Flame Ryushin and Diesel have gathered you all here to hold a tournament, one that comes once in a lifetime. Remember back, if you will, before all of the Umbreon and Rhyperior. We have, and we are here to bring those times to live once again. We give you the Back to the Past Tournament! This tournament will test your skills as a Pokemon Trainer as well as see how connected you are to your roots.

Rules of the Tournament

Only Mons from Generation One can be used

Only Fully Evolved Mons Allowed(Excluding the Rent Mons)

TMs and Attacks from other generations are allowed.

You must own three first generations

You will be provided with three rent generation mons

You can drop only ONE mon after each battle and we will roll to see what replacement
mon you get(It could be be better or Worse)

You may drop one of the mons you own, but we roll to see which mons out of the ones in your stat replaces it

If you decide not to drop a mon you may add one held or tm to one of your rent mons

Cheating or being banned from the forum results into a disqualification

We could see if 16 more people will sign up. They can all be put in another bracket with the final being between the winners of both brackets. If that be the case though, you must have strict regulations on activity. Specific deadlines before which a round must be finished, and if battles aren't done by then the more active one goes on, or dice rolls will have to be made if there's no difference in activity.

We will send you your three rents through PM. If you decide to drop one of your mons you must tell the ref to post it in the log after your battle. DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOUR RENTS!

Note: Any refs participating cannot ref because of the hidden mons.

We could do that. It probably couldn't be to hard to get 16 more people. If its possible, Mike could you please lock the other bracket temporairly so that we can get 16 more people to try and get these two rounds going at once.

Peh, I say just let the first round for the first bracket start now. It won't take long for the other 16 people to join, I'm sure, but still. Anyways, these battles aren't all going to be over in a day, so even if the second bracket's battles start a few days after the first one's, they'll still probably be able to catch up relatively well.

Yes maybe, but we would rather have it that we get them starting at the same time, and if it doesn't take to long it shouldn't be a problem getting 16 more people.

Because if you were to make it to the very end, you would face the winner of the other bracket, and if that happened to be the person that reffed for you, well, then you would be screwed. xD
