Hello fellow PE2Kers! For those of you who don’t know me, let me introduce myself. My name is Rachel and I’ve been a part of PE2K for almost two years now. Wow, time sure flies! Anywayz, I want to welcome you to my second collection of artwork that I plan to show each and every one of you.
Way back in July of 2003, I started my first art thread. I went about showing my art off slowly, posting only a few pieces at a time every week or so. Little did I know that my artwork would eventually fill up over 30 pages, with the help of many of my anxious viewers. The many warm-hearted comments and begs for requests were so overwhelming that I decided to make my own website dedicated to my art.
Many months and many more drawings later, I decided to close the site. Although the site itself was well organized and was beginning to show much potential, I was unable to keep up with the updating responsibilities. Needless to say, I was just too busy with my life offline. I had bit off more than I could chew, and it hurt.
Eventually I found the time again to get back into the life that I had missed so much. With that in mind, I produced a few more pieces here and there, and when I felt that I had at least a few decent works of art in my hands, I started to build another collection, similar to the first in many respects, but much more promising.
And now, I present to you all the results of my hard work, and the reason that I’ve been inactive for so long. This new collection features many drawings from my website, along with some new ones just recently finished. You’ll even find a few that I almost forgot about… and later rescued!
First, I have to make one statement perfectly clear right away before I forget:

PLEASE, NO REQUESTS!!

Even though I have a lot less pressure on me now that I’ve finally finished this collection, I still have my other duties outside of the computer that are more important. I really, really, REALLY don’t want to see someone accidentally make a request later on, only to be shot down either by other members or me. Seeing this kind of thing happen is very hard for me to deal with, even though it might seem easy for others. So I’m very sorry, but please don’t bother asking for a request at the moment. But who knows what the future holds?
Okay, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I’ll wrap things up right now. Oh, if anyone has any questions or concerns, or if you just want to send me a friendly message, PM me of course, or if you prefer, my e-mail is RainbowFeather83@aol.com . Don’t be afraid to contact me, I won’t bite (too hard… j/k).
Thank you all so much for taking the time out of your lives to be with a part of mine. Your respect is greatly appreciated! And with that, let me be the first to say…

Pokémon-related Artwork

Armaldo vs. Cradily (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/avc1.jpg) (old request)
An epic battle between Hoenn’s prehistoric pokémon. Armaldo is preparing to unleash its Ancient Power attack while Cradily is attempting Solarbeam.

BGSSSR field (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/bgsssrfieldcolor1.jpg) (old request)
A colorful drawing of a Blaziken, Gardevoir, Suicune, Salamence, Slaking, and a Raikou relaxing in a meadow on a bright spring day.

Pikachu and Pichu hug (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/pikachupichuhug.jpg)
A small picture of a Pikachu giving his pal Pichu a warm hug. Aww!

Undersea Lugia (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/lugia1.jpg)
My first true Photoshop piece, this one is about a year old. I was still experimenting with the program at the time.

Blaziken vs. Umbreon (b/w) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/bvubw2.jpg) (old request)
Umbreon is shown barely dodging the scorching flames of a determined Blaziken in this scene.

SLL field (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/sllfield.jpg) (old request)
Another field drawing featuring Suicune and Latias in the foreground, while Lugia is seen hovering high in the sky.

"A Glimpse of the Heart" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/entry1.jpg)
My first entry for WAR Season 3 featuring Ash and Pikachu starting off on their adventure. Ho-Oh is seen flying off in the distance.

"Finding Feebas" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/entry2.jpg)
Entry #2 for the 3rd WAR. Goldeen and Magikarp are shown inside the mouth of a Pelipper, who is being chased by a flock of Wingull in the background.

"Kaytee Forti-Diet - For All Bird Pokémon" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/entry4.jpg)
This entry was completed right before my big move to Mayville. I literally had only minutes to finish this piece, so it does look a little shabby, and I can understand that. A decent work of art nonetheless.

"Bagon's Hopeful Dream" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/bsnov.jpg)
An entry for the November Smeargle’s Art Challenge. A beautiful piece, Bagon and Salamence were constructed separately and then joined together along with two of my own photographs. Built in Photoshop.

Bagon (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/bagon.jpg)
One of the pictures used for “Bagon’s Hopeful Dream”.

Salamence (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/salamence.jpg)
The other picture used for “Bagon’s Hopeful Dream”.

Blastoise (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/blastoise.jpg)
A small drawing of Kanto’s water starter.

Sceptile (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/sceptile.jpg)
A quick outline of a Sceptile.

X-mas entry (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/xmasentry.jpg)
My entry for the PokéHoliday Art Festival. Once again, I barely finished this one on time, but I managed somehow… just note that I was rushed.

MOTM icon (b/w) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/motmicon.jpg)
A picture of Treecko, Pikachu, and Cyndaquil each holding ribbons representing awards for PE2K’s MOTM event.

NEW!Neo and Pikachu (b/w) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/nandp.jpg)
A shaded side-by-side profile shot of Keanu Reeves and Pikachu… Matrix style! A must-see!

NEW!Dragon vs. Dragon (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemon%20pics%203/dvsd.jpg)

Other Artwork

Kaiba and Obelisk (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/KO.jpg)
Seto Kaiba alongside his Egyption God Obelisk, ready to sieze the day!

Super Saiyan Goten and Trunks (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/dbzgotentrunks.jpg)
As my only true picture relating to DBZ, this one stands alone as one of my all-time favorites.

"The Rebirth of Pegasus" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/pokemonpics2/pegasus.jpg)
The beautiful Pegasus is shown rearing behind the heavens. Enhanced in Photoshop.

Link, Navi, and Epona (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/linkeponanavi.jpg)
An older drawing from my high school days, this picture was taken off of a magazine. I try to avoid creating pieces like these. Navi was the only thing added.

Double Rainbow (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/doublerb.jpg)
A high school drawing tkaen off of one of my photographs while I was visiting Colorado.

Tenchi X-mas (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/txmas.jpg)
A Tenchi drawing I created while I was deeply obsessed with Tenchi. Even though this piece was done in March, I felt the need to make something Christmas-related, even slightly adult-orientated.

AAP Birds (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/aapbirds.jpg)
A drawing made a few years ago showing off some of our most popular birds!

Carly In The Snow (b/w) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/carlysnow.jpg)
A picture of my border collie walking through the snow at night. She lived to be 14… rest her soul.

SALA sketch (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/salasketch.jpg)
A rough design of the two Sailor Moon guardians, along with two of my own creations. From left to right: Sirius, Apollo, Luna, Artemis.

Cloud field (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/cloudfield.jpg)
Yet another field drawing done in high school, the land itself was drawn through thought, and the clouds were taken from a magazine clip. Combining the two makes for an interesting picture… although I personally think it looks a bit odd.

Evil Being (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/evilbeing1.jpg) (old request)
An outline of a devilish dragon-type creature.

RK pose (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/rkpose.jpg)
A small cut-out of Ryo-Ohki and Ken-Ohki sitting together happily.

Shoe (b/w) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/shoe.jpg)
A detailed sketch from high school of one of my sneakers.

Tails In Baggy Pants (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/tailsbaggypants.jpg)
A picture of Tails trying to look hip-hop thuggish. Ack!

"Vega's Story" scans
The seven pages shown here were part of my unfinished comic from high school. The colored areas showed well enough, so just try and concentrate on those areas. You might be able to read a tiny bit of text, but not much else. Try to see as much as you possibly can, but please don't strain yourself too hard.

One of my favorite YuGiOh! Monsters. Done in Photoshop.

NEW! Slimer and Cookie (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/slicoo.jpg)
My two gecko babies! Slimer is my Gold Dust Day Gecko, and Cookie is my Leopard Gecko.

NEW! Betta - "Sky" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/RainbowFeather83/Battle%20Scenes/Sonic/Tenchi/Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous%203/skybetta.jpg)
A colored drawing of one of my many betas that I’ve owned throughout my life. Due to his beautiful two-tone coloration, I just had to immortalize him.

I love all the new work, it's truly fantastic.

Now, a request without asking you to do anything. Can we use pictures you've made in our signatures/banners? I'd love to use that little bagon you made. I'd give full credit, I just wanna see if I can.

Wow, that was quick! But hey, thanks a bunch for the nice reply. I can never get too many of those.

As for my Bagon image, you're welcome to use it if you're going to be showing credit... that's all I ask. The same rule applies for anyone else. I'm very generous in that department, so again, as long as everyone follows the rules, everything will be cool. Laterz!

The goddess of art is back. And how.

It's going to take a forklift to get my jaw off the floor now, your pictures just bowl me over completely. It really is a measure of your uberness that after not visiting this board since January as soon as I see the words 'Rachel's Art' in the 'last post' I click on it immediately.

Hooray! Rachel is back! Glad to have you. As usual your work is amazing.

I have however, just a little critism *hides from shotguns*

I love the Pokemon and Sonic ones, but the non Pokemon/Sonic ones aren't very good. Or they aren't as good as the others. For example when I saw you were doing a DBZ one, I was really happy. Upon clicking it, it was quite disappointing however. Trunks didn't look like SSJ Trunks, while Goten seemed a lot taller.

OTherwise, I love your other stuff, and I hope you don't shoot me. *hides*

OMG! OMG! OMG! Now that is just GODLY!!!

Rachel, you must be a real life angel, since I don’t know how anyone can draw like this without extreme celestial powers. Ah, you have such a gift that I envy you for.

Calling these masterpieces just isn’t enough. Words can’t describe how awesome these drawings truly are.

Hey, I'm not the violent type, so there's no need to hide. To tell you the truth, I wish there were more critizism like this more often... I really believe that I would improve much quicker.

But yeah, I kinda see what you're saying. That picture is about 4 years old now, and I see a lot of mistakes on it now that I didn't see before... for instance, I drew the characters too big from the start and didn't realize it until it was too late! Argh! Oh well, live and learn. That's why practice makes perfect. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the other drawings though.

And Bron, Jet, I haven't forgotten about you, I've just been too caught up in everything lately. Whenever I find more time to myself is when I'll finish up on those. After that though, I'll be done for a while to prepare for the WAR. Thank you for being so patient with me. I'm sorry I don't finish things in an instant, but I suppose that's what makes all the difference.
